  2. Jones won’t be cut because he fits in the culture here and can be depended on. The players they drafted will allow them to lower his snaps. I just don’t think they are going to cut him, my opinion of course. i liked the offensive free agents they signed, Palmer was not my first choice but I think he will be a good player here. Love that they resigned Ty, Evan’s and Gilliam. I am talking about this year’s defensive free agents, I don’t like it at all. I don’t see anyone really helping in big games or critical moments and in the end will be just depth pieces. I absolutely loathe the Bosa signing. Hate everything about it. It’s almost as bad as giving up a third round pick for Amari cooper. He is an aging declining player who is always hurt and makes a bunch of penalties. He has shown his inability to keep his cool in big moments in post season games also. they signed players without defined positions, they signed declining players with injury issues, they have two guys suspended. I feel it was a giant swing and miss on defensive free agents this year. again, I don’t think any of them will make a dimes worth of difference to this defense this year. as to the comment assuming I never like what they do in free agency, now you are just making things up because i have a different opinion of this group of guys than you. and yes there were players and positions where I thought they could have improved on defense in free agency. we shall see how it plays out. I think the draft nullified it anyway. They nailed the draft imo.
  3. So the physical exams were as thorough as the mental exams. Great stuff! The Autopen had a wonderful presidency.
  4. I will enjoy my day unlike Ashli, who was misled, exploited, and lost her life for a lie.
  5. If this is you, I'm glad you are still alive, BillStime.
  6. To save money…who wouldn’t believe that? I’ll tell you who - maga conspiracy theorists. Doctors were DOGE-ing before it was fashionable. Impressive.
  7. I agree with all that you say about Nantz, one of the best. But Romo, who started off pretty good, though not as good as people said, seems unprepared, like he does not know specifics about the teams and players he is covering. Sort of like how Herbstreet was when he began the Thursday night gig--unprepared, so then they talk too much to compensate and then the cliches come rapid fire for the same reason. But the way Nantz and Romo gush over each other, their partner, is hard to watch, listen to, especially near the beginning and endings of the seasons, and during holidays.
  8. I believe a good candidate would have beat trump. Had to be non woke Had to denounce the extreme left Had to propose stopping illegals Could have denounced sanctuary cities And in the end 10% or perhaps 15% of the pop who feared trump or detested his lies would not have voted for him. Finding that candidate...difficult...Rahm Emanuel, maybe.
  9. I think there is a chance that the new coach is Deion. Pre-draft I thought there was a chance that Prime either replaced whoever Shadeurs coach was the next season, or he takes over and trades for him. I believe that a lot less post draft. The league seems to have spoken and the general consensus around Deion is "STFU". But I wouldn't write it off completely just yet.
  10. Remember when it was time to freak out over POTUS reported height and weight?
  11. it means he can catch the overthrown balls at over 6000 inches tall
  12. I agree. I think the Bills are heartless decision makers. The only question is which players make the team better? From that standpoint, Daquon is at risk, just like everyone else is at risk. Having said that, their decisions about who makes the team better will be colored by what they've seen players deliver in the past, so it may be hard to unseat simply by looking better in camp. A lot better, sure. A little better, well, then the coaches start thinking about what a guy adds in the locker room, whether the guy has shown a tendency to be better as the season progresses, etc. etc. McDermott has made it clear how much he values having a veteran leader in every position room. Daquan may be that veteran leader for the tackles.
  13. It will be interesting to follow Elam. I lean that he is unfortunately just a bust, but we will soon find out. McDermotts track record of getting more out of CBs than other teams, guys like Dane and Levi, even Douglas is still pretty stellar regardless.
  14. Yes because the cover up only started during the lead up to the second campaign. That and COVID came from a wet market.
  15. For me, it was an age related decision. Snow removal is fun and games until you are 65-ish. After that it becomes a burden. I liked the real estate and lifestyle in the Southtowns better, but since it was a house that I planned on being in until age 75 or more, I chose the Northtowns with less snow. Even with the decreased snow in Amherst, I find wrestling with a snow blower at my age to be an unpleasant experience. I have sidewalks to clear and the town is quick to fine* people who don't clear snow--so I have no choice. * they don't fine you per se, the town will actually uninvited come clear your sidewalk for you and charge you a couple hundred bucks for doing so
  16. Yea Teller is the one. Scheme switch was critical there. Poona Ford is the only othere one I can think of who was good before. Meh here. Good after.
  17. Teller. But that involved a position switch.
  18. Side note with all these comparisons according to https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/kaden-prather/ he compares most to former Buffalo Bills WR Robert Foster.
  19. So Daquan can't be cut because of who they signed wont help the defense? Its a weird take as I see all of the signed DL to be more impactful than Daquan based on what he put on tape last year. We spent about 35 mil on Free agents. Did you want one big splash signing or just different mid level guys than what we got (that 35 mil includes Palmer)? Im not sure how this is a botch? Feels like you wanted different players or wanted one big splash signing. Beane has always used free agency to fill holes so I assume you never like what they do in free agency?
  20. Planning on moving in a couple, now even, if something fits. I want out of the snowbelt. As a Southtown lifer, hoping to find something in East Amherst/Clarence, it has as many options as the Southowns, Elma, Lancaster, as far as nice housing and close by conveniences, but is much busier and congested. I should add OP and Hamburg have more charm imo and closer to East Aurora and Ellicottville, which locals kind of flock to, particularly in the summer and fall, they have numerous festivals. They are also closer to and have more access options to the thruways, if that’s a concern Northtowns has more shopping options and is close to Lewiston on the Niagara Gorge, which is quaint with shops and dining, and of course Canada, which has a some very nice offerings/towns not far from the Lewiston Bridge.
  21. Really? Who knew? The point is that it’s not a particularly intriguing National matchup.
  22. Sure, but who are you saying "should have been elite", but isn't? I've yet to see a player leave Buffalo and all of a sudden reach an entire new level of higher play.
  23. IMO, they signed 6 defensive players in free agency who won’t make a dime’s worth of difference to the defense. That was my opinion before we knew of the suspensions. I view each of the defensive signings as backup level players who were signed as insurance in case they didn’t get what they wanted in the draft. I feel like they did a great job in the draft which further makes the free agent class even less important to me. I am glad they signed tre white. He is a great fit in the locker room and a great player to have with a young group of cornerbacks on the roster. I just do not see any of the others doing anything worthwhile and in particular helping the defense where it needed help other than just providing a baseline of depth. I think three of the players they signed not really even have a position clearly defined. I wouldn’t be surprised to see two or three of the free agents on defense they signed cut when they make the roster for week 1 or after the bye and the suspensions are up.
