  1. Past hour
  2. I dont think mcdermott is a bad coach. But i also dont think he is that great. how many of those wins are josh masking poor drafts and bad coaching? he has shown the ability to get out coached by the same dude over and over again. and for a guy who is always preaching about fundamentals and discipline. His defense lacks those things. Or they are sticking to scheme soo well that other teams clown them. hearing players after the last of the chiefs losses in the playoffs say they never saw the chiefs doing the things they did on tape before. But was shown on everynetwork of them doing those exact things all year says they arent prepared or coached well. like i said i dont think mcdermott sucks. But he isnt that good either. josh is saving a bunch of people jobs
  3. I think mitches arm is powered by a 1978 ford pinto motor
  4. Have you seen how large he is? He’s not going anywhere. I’m more concerned about the car
  5. And just like that, Justin Tucker who?
  6. I think Shavers is out 54th player...and we're going to IR designated to return someone.
  7. Watched it last night and was more concerned not having the kids harnessed. He can make his choices. His children cannot.
  8. I'm not jumping to a conclusion based off a preseason game though, I'm seeing it as a continuation of the past few years. They don't get a lot of sacks, they struggle against the run, 3rd & 15 may as well be an automatic 1st down, they give up big plays, are often injured, and competent offenses seem to chew them up. A few years ago we had a top 3 scoring D in the regular season multiple times, but then they fell apart in the playoffs, even with much better talent than we have now. So sure, they may manage to be a top 10 unit in the league during the regular season, and even their sack/turnover numbers might look decent. Just saying I'm not expecting too much. We've seen what McDermott wants to do for years now. The best thing I can say about him is he's able to coach up late round players, and his scheme covers for a lot of individual flaws (or at least it did when Leslie Frazier was still here). But I don't think our D is going to ever have a playoff game where they hold down Mahomes all day like the 2023 Ravens AFCCG or the Eagles in the SB this year or even the 2nd half/OT of the 2021 AFCCG with the Bengals.
  9. Just think, we won 13 games last year and didn’t have a healthy Milano or even Bosa. We will win 14 games this year
  10. 30 year old live at home with parents incel gets red pilled by covidiots, acts out in most violent way. End of story.
  11. I've only read on here and listened to the game. Is it safe to say Oline is an arrow down. It's so hard because I'm sure these guys are being told to play smart and just don't get hurt. There's no planning in place and I'm not sure anyone really wants to play these game to begin with.
  12. What did the government, and their revenue enforcement wing (police) think was going to happen after they pulled their Gestapo bull#### for 2 years during the pandemic? Did they really think their lives wouldn't be in jeopardy at some point afterwards? In the words of my teenager, "be so for real".
  13. I've heard some chatter about kids in the car while drifting and just him drifting at all (with possible risks and all. I don't know a whole lot about drifting tbh, but I hear you don't really go that fast. It's more about spinning wheels. Idk
  14. I went into watching the game with two concerns... injuries and 3rd down defense. Other than a scare with Taron Johnson I think we were free of injury so thats a plus. However, 3rd down defense remains as horrible as it was all last season. Im still hugely concerned with this defense. Considering the investment put into this season, I shouldn't be. Bosa looked great though. Hope he can stay healthy.
  15. Rob Ray v. Steve Tasker in a commentator death match.
  16. I guess it's all relative. He speaks pretty well compared to orangutans. Except for Dr. Zaius. I think he's got Tasker beat.
  17. Finally watched it this evening. I wonder if anyone with the Bills organization spoke to Dion about drifting without wearing a racing harness. He had one on the kids, but not on himself.
  18. Chase Lundt was impressive to me today too. You can tell he has stubby arms but he took it to the DEs all day to negate that. His athleticism on the pulls was great too, thought he was the best of the second stringers. I was very disappointed in Hoecht. It felt like watching Von with how he outran his gaps and when he was actually there to make a play, he missed tackles. Let’s hope he is used creatively like the Rams did bc that was not pretty. As for LJ, it was disappointing as well. He struggled. He took a couple years to improve in college, so this may be a player who is quiet this year and makes more plays in year 2 and 3. I really have a tough time imagining Shavers on the 53. I’d say there is at least 2 QBs, 4 RBs, 9 OL, 5 WRs, 2 TEs, 9 DL, 5 LB, 9 DBs and 4 specialists or 49 locks. Likely we keep a 10th DL so we don’t cut Carter or Soloman and likely we keep Hawes as the third tight end. So I think it would come down to them keeping a 10th DB (Dane or Strong), a 10th OL (SVPG, Lundt or Green), a 6th linebacker, or a 6th WR. I think OL and DB will get 10 spots. Maybe they only keep 5 LBs but I’d be pretty surprised with how oft injured that group is. So barring an injury to a lock in one of the position groups, I think Shavers would have to beat out Elijah Moore to make the 53. Shavers may be more deserving of a roster spot, but the Bills may think he would be easier and cheaper to get on the Practice Squad than Moore and his guaranteed contract. Then you can just call him up if you really need him until his eligibility is used up.
  19. I'd rather have Crab Legs or Tommy Cutlets and one of them will be available soon. Yeah, I don't understand his purpose. Why do we have a guy for so long who so very clearly isn't going to cut it? He's not a tools guy, he's not a surgical guy who beats you with his mind either. He's just ...a guy. Was there nobody else out there with any promise whatsoever?
  20. 3rd round pick vs a respectable vet that’s unspectacular? yea, usually an uphill path for the young guy
  21. I want to see white with real players before I judge...
  22. It was bad enough that I was sitting there wondering "will they actually cut a 3rd round pick in year 1?". Unless the hand of God comes down at some point this month, he does not look like help for this season which is exceptionally frustrating.
  23. He had a few extra yards to spare, too.
