Yep, problem is he was one of the worst YAC guys in the league last year. Low ADOT, 5.2 yds/tgt, 8.5 yds/catch with a horrible passer rating when targeted. Scored 1 TD on 102 targets. He doesn't scare anyone and will not increase 2 high safety looks from the defense. This pickup does not stretch the field or give them any more space underneath which is what they are lacking.

Yea it was Jerry O, thanks. We will see, Davis is a physical freak, and Walker is not that. Walker does have a better feel for pass rush tho, so maybe he can make it up there. Getting his body right and losing some weight in his middle is probably the #1 goal this year.

I don't know what's been going on with me since the draft but I get this weird, like small butterfly feelings in my stomach thinking about the upcoming season. This has never happened to me before. Usually I lose interest in football after the Bills are out, gain it back right before draft and free agency....then think about other things until late July. But it's early May and I have the same exciting feeling the Saturday eve before the opener...which means it will take forever in my head for the season to get here. I think they do it this year....I really do. Any of you feeling weird like me right now? And no, I'm not drunk. Am I high? Maybe.

Brown signed a 6.5m guaranteed 1 year deal. So irregardless of what he's done, he's going to be there. Obviously, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, and new Draft Pick Jalen Royals are all not going anywhere either. So that's 4 locked in. The other guys can be viewed as replaceable. But i'd argue most teams 5th or 6th WR's are looked at as replaceable. If they keep 5 like us, former 2nd Round Pick Skyy Moore, Juju Smith-Schuster, and Tyquan Thornton is a good collection of guys competing for the last roster spot.

A lot of truth here. I'll add that having a mid-season funk nearly every year while dropping games against inferior teams, causing the Bills to miss out on the 1 seed is something an elite QB like Josh Allen shouldn't be doing either. And losing out on the bye and having to play Wild Card weekend every year is another reason they haven't reached a Super Bowl... Regularly capturing the #1 seed needs to be the main focus of the regular season, which means learning to win the stupid mid-season games against teams like Jacksonville, no matter what and no excuses.

What would make you think he's the starter? He has one year of starting experience in 4 seasons, and it was 3 seasons ago. He's a fringe NFL player. If there's a longshot to make the safety squad it has to be him. Hamlin has his limitations, but he's been a FAR more productive play in his career. Hamlin is at worst a #3 safety on most NFL teams. He's without a doubt an NFL talent.

Sure, but we have examples of guys who do succeed, though. Maxx Crosby was a 4th rounder. Trey Hendrickson was a 3rd rounder. Mathew Judon was a 5th rounder. Za’Darius Smith was taken in the 4th round. This draft had a TON of defensive line talent, so talent fell into the later rounds.
