Yep. The first time it happened to me, years ago, I was thrilled. Crowd noise but no announcers! And the I dumped Directv and it never happened again. Maybe Directv should market it as a "no announcer" feature.

I haven't checked, but it's a good bet you chimed in - at least with a like or two - on the Somali immigration fraud in Minnesota thread. What was the fraud? Payments for false autism diagnoses. When you subsidize something you get more of it. Flawed reasoning. You had herd immunity. Now in some areas you don't. These things don't increase linearly. -

I love it when Pats* trolls pretend to know something about the game. Always good for a good chuckle.

Yeah but the players are getting those million dollar contracts because of massive television contracts and stuff Channel 4 and fox and ESPN televising football games to the entire country producing millions and millions and millions and millions of watchers is why they get paid the big bucks So appeasing the reporters who work for the networks is literally actually part of the job description.. it's part of the job description for a NFL player because that's a huge reason why they're getting paid so much

These āfansā are already starting to disappear here and will be in the witness protection program after tomorrow. Their āfansā at the game will probably be headed for the exits by the end of the 3rd quarter tomorrow, once they realize their team is still no match for a motivated and getting healthier Bills team. -
I do realize that. But itās stupid and unnecessary. Just because it is in their contract doesnāt mean it should. Itās useless filler
-
They just played our "shout" song (minus the Bill's part) at the game.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

A win is a win and Iāll take it anyway. The overall sentiment I was totally on board with, then within last year my feelings started to change. We have an all time generational QB in Josh Allen. The fact we havenāt even been to a superbowl with him despite him being Superman and putting up insane numbers is getting frustrating. I watched every game through drought years so I do appreciate this team but I donāt think itās spoiled by wanting just one SB -
I think this season the league introduced several new helmets for players that are supposed to offer better protection against head injury than the previous generation of helmets. It may be that some players who formerly wore the helmet cushions felt the new helmets are sufficient protection, but the pillow tops are still an option.

the art of the deal........used car salesman edition
Albany,n.y. replied to Sweats's topic in Off the Wall
This is why I buy new: The tires are always new. I got screwed at 17 buying a used car & I vowed to never buy used again. I buy new & run them into the ground. My current car is 15 years old, with less than 58,000 miles & since I don't drive much anymore it will probably last me the rest of my life. My last 2 cars before this one lasted 10 years & 13 years, both over 100k miles. -

Christian Benford in a medical walking shoe
BigAl2526 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
If you had asked me on Monday which defensive player was going to be key in the matchup against New England's offense, I would have said Benford. I would have envisioned Benford following Diggs wherever he lines up, except perhaps in the slot. I hope he's up to playing. It is frustrating though seeing key players getting hurt week after week this season. Darnell Savage is primarily a safety, but can play some cornerback.
