  1. Past hour
  2. Salt in the open wound… One top of that, watch Diggs and the Pats actually get to the Super Bowl, while the Bills continue to be mocked for always falling short… It’s like a reoccurring nightmare we can never wake up from…
  3. I think Brady overly focused on the run game at the expense of the pass game. Of course, running the ball is very important to an offense. However, in modern day football passing the ball effectively and down field are likely the better paths to victory. Neither can be one dimensional as defenses will adjust. Brady just has not been able to get his WRs involved. Moore, Samuel, Shavers, Shakir, Palmer, Coleman, etc...i know some of it falls on the WR talent or lack of. Injuries too. Seems like Brady doesn't know how to scheme WRs open. He calls the same plays over and over. Maybe I'm wrong but it sure seems like it. He lacks creativity, setting up plays, and is predictable. It doesn't help that besides Cook the offense doesn't really have anyone that can scare or threaten a defense. Lastly, Allen seems to be a little off. He's certainly not as elusive. He's getting tackled and sacked more than I can remember. Not sure if he's lost a step or if defenses have found some kind of formula to apprehend him. Whatever the reason; it's clear to me Brady has to go. He doesn't have it! There's no way he can be the OC next year. I'd say the same for Babich. McD has to get experienced quality coordinators on both sides of the ball. The hiring within seems to falling willfully short. Go Bills
  4. Injuries galore. Sure hope the Bills can get a victory. Anyone think of what the Bills game plan on offense and defense will be? I suspect the Bills try to run the ball early and often. Just not sure Pittsburgh won't load the box early to stop it. I'm thinking the Bills might have to pass first to open up the running game. How will the two tackles hold up to Watt and company? On defense, it's the same old game plan vs Buffalo. Can they stop the run? Can they disrupt Rodgers in the pocket? Do they blitz to generate a pass rush? Do they load the box to stop the run? I suspect will see Allen running more. Gotta use his legs as a weapon. Also, the Steeler pass defense stinks. Can Buffalo take advantage of this weakness? I suspect a pretty low scoring affair. I think it's a field goal game either way. Go Bills!!!
  5. Once again, you prove to be a myopic POS... Is the coverup of pedophilia within the Catholic Church the big appeal to you? Or is the accumulation of all that wealth in Rome the pinnacle of Jesus teachings? Either way, you remain the self-righteous POS hypocrite you've always been... A trait you share with many popes throughout history... Perhaps you're a jesuit lol...
  6. Defending drug traffickers and pedophiles is how he pays his bills...
  7. Today
  8. If he’s fast, odds are he’s not on the Bills radar
  9. The veteran #1 WR trade route is extremely expensive in both draft assets and cap space allotment, and somewhat rare/difficult to pull off. And they usually come with baggage. Think AJ Brown, Stefon Diggs, Tyreek Hill...who else? Remember that Allen was still on a rookie deal when Beane traded for Diggs, making it easier to fit him in immediately and long term. Of course, Diggs then had a career year playing with Allen, and the Bills went to the AFCCG for the first time in like 25 years. So the expense was darn near justified in year one alone. AJ Brown was a VERY similar situation for the Eagles, except they got to the SB (and then won it two years later). What are other examples of WR1s getting traded?
  10. Pegula lacks the personal savvy AND the organizational structure/objectivity to have identified the obvious need to fire McD after 13 seconds or in each of the last two off-seasons when Ben Johnson was ostensibly available. To not hire someone with serious pedigree to oversee football operations in an executive capacity above McD and Beane is the height of Busch League incompetence. Instead, Pegula is the only person evaluating McBeane, which is insane if you've ever listened to anything Pegula has ever said about football. He's an impressionable imbecile about sports. He NEEDS C-Suite layers above his coaches and front office personnel, but lacks the wisdom or humility to admit it. He accepts mediocrity. Pegula's refusal to bring in football and hockey execs to oversee each operation and provide needed expertise independent of (and critical of) coaching and management is absolutely idiotic. Maybe Kim could have grown into that role (her interpersonal aptitude and general savvy is very underrated to this day), but failing to bring in pedigreed people at the top is just such a huge ongoing nightmare. Owners definitely have HUGE impacts on organizational success across the major sports leagues. Teams can have fleeting success without great ownership, but sustained success starts at the top. The Bills drought was deeply and obviously tied to ownership issues and the downstream impacts of those issues, and you can see the Sabres suffering now from that same condition. That would still be the result of the pre-snap solutions Allen is provided by his coaches. I think defenses know how to sometimes force Allen to check into disadvantageous or predictable audibles. It's not like he has the time at the line or the license to pick from ANY play in their arsenal. He isn't running Peyton Manning's Marchibroda offense, unfortunately. I think it's mostly true. But not completely Allen's fault. He's put in bad positions.
  11. No it doesn't Reid was gagging away games BEFORE he got Mahomes
  12. We're not going to get Jordyn Tyson from Arizona St. We're not going to get Carnell Tate from Ohio St. Concepcion or Chris Bell from Louisville are probably what we're staring at for WR's early. 3rd Round guys could be Skyler Bell from UConn, who is actually an interesting prospect, Omar Cooper from Indiana, and Malachi Fields from ND.
  13. And then around November he will play DE because of injuries and lack of depth.
  14. They will make it in somehow someway much like Buffalo. Neither will do ***** once they’re in, but would be cool to beat them even if they (bills) did miss the SB.
  15. A new defensive philosophy in general would be nice...
  16. was respected enough to take over for Matt Rhule when he got canned mid season in Carolina. He’s done great considering the starting kicker went down and the return game playing a big factor (even in losses, but doesn’t discount the great returns.)
  17. Beane deserves this smoke, 100%. I won't be shocked if we miss playoffs and they both get canned. But ive never been more confident theyre going to attack the position hard this off season. Would've rather sooner obviously.
  18. Also, the repetitive/pared-down playbook of the Kelly Bills offense was much more vertical and aggressive in nature, so it put more strain on defenders. Like, even if Brady's mesh routes actually work and Allen has the time to wait for them, they're still semi-horizontal routes that don't exactly put safeties in conflict. Allen's arm should be firing lasers downfield on seam and boundary 9s and posts and flags and skinnies and the like...not just crossers and swings and screens and contested fades. Threaten defenses through the air while also slashing them on the ground. Add in mucho motion and play action and let's effing go.
  19. Thought same thing last night. Dude is a monster after the catch. He pulled through a gap between two safeties or possible a S & CB and the acceleration was like he was on a dirtbike. Lil biased cause hes from Charlotte and first 2 season at NC State. He was most dangerous freshman year. Was a real dual threat that year... need to dig into the tape to figure out why he took a step back (yet still super impressive) after that year. Could be transferring to A&M there were a lot more weapons to compete for touches. Couple excerpts from NFLDraft Buzz: "Shows remarkable football IQ by finding soft spots against zone coverage - consistently sits down in windows and presents a favorable target for his quarterback" "Elevates his play in big moments - repeatedly showed up in critical situations against Clemson and Virginia during his breakout freshman campaign." I also dig Chris Bell from Louisville... I will be honest though, these guys are currently rated late 1st- early 2nd. If we get super aggressive and go after a true #1... these are guys that I'd want to compete for #2. Not guys id solely rely on to fix that part of our game I don't believe he can. Thats what id thought id heard
