Bills asking fans to wear all white for the Pats game on Sunday
Augie replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’m spending less and less time on the NFL’s lawn these days. (I bet that is Roger’s wife.) If it’s ugly, I’m not afraid to say so. -
Obviously he hasn’t been good enough to get a game jersey. It is what it is.

His career is over. This is sad to see. Wish him luck and good health.

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
Royale with Cheese replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm sure Ray Davis can do it. Honestly, have Josh kick it out of shotgun if it's close to midfield. If you have the first team offense out there, the defense has to have their first team defense out there. Josh can kick it down the field because there won't be a return man. I'm confident he can roll that ball 35-40 yards down the field. -
Well, I guess bringing him in as a punter is out of the question.

There's no real MVP front runner as of now. There's not really been in the early goings of the season anyone that stands out as an MVP just yet. There's 2 4-0 teams and while Josh has had a strong start his stats aren't eye popping, Cook has a strong start too and eye popping stats but MVP's and RB's are hard to come by. The other 4-0 team the Eagles doesn't have a strong stand out either (Hurts and Barkley's stats are pedestrian). Then you look down at the 3-1 tier teams and the only eye capturing stats to me are Puca whose on pace for 2k+ yards receiving or Jonathan Taylor whose leading the league in rushing at 414 yards on a 3-1 team. I think Josh/Cook/Puca/Taylor/Stafford/Herbert/Jones are in the early running but we likely need 2-3 more weeks before we solidify this race a bit more.

I mean... by that standard, white is a color for the other 31 teams as well. It's just an odd choice, that's all. -
Is Hawes in the process of surpassing Knox as TE2??
T master replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Personally I hope Knox stays but like most players if Beane baulks at a new contract I think Knox will go to the highest bidder I could be wrong but that is the NFL today !! I think his perfect team may be the Titans seeing as he is a home town guy but I hope he retires a Buffalo Bill ! -
Evaulation (of this team) after a quarter of season gone

If they struggle into the Bye week, I could potentially see a coordinator change. If it doesn't happen at the bye, I dont think it happens for the rest of the season -

It’s not even all whites. I’m OK with all whites, as long as the white is white and they don’t mess with the helmet. This is more the color of the abominable snowman in cartoons. They just want to sell more white gear. I’m not buying. . I’m getting over the NFL just fine, and it’s more than those ugly uniforms. -

We don’t often agree, but this is a great post. It did get me thinking about how Josh is distributing the ball by position group. This is a calculation based on general classification of the receiver vs where the player lined up on a particular play. 1. Wideouts (Coleman, Palmer, Shavers) - 42 targets, 29 receptions, 365 yards, 1 TD - Coleman 17/22 203 yds 1 TD 2. TE (Kincaid, Knox, Hawes) - 30, 25, 272, 4 - Kincaid 14/18 179 3 TDs, Hawes 4/4 3. Slot WR (Shakir, Moore, Samuel) - 27, 21, 263, 2 - Shakir 16/20 190 yds 2 TDs, Moore 4/5 4. RB (Cook, Johnson, Davis) - 20, 14, 96, 0 - Cook has 12 catches on 13 targets for 89 yards. Johnson only 1/5 My reaction to these stats are we need more Kincaid, Johnson needs to step up, but Josh is really spreading the ball around. 12 different receivers in only 4 games and Josh is averaging 9.1 yards per pass attempt to the WRs, slots guys and TEs. Only “regular” without a catch is FB Gilliam. I suspect more quick throws against NE with Brown out of the lineup. -
Well, since we don’t have a punter, this should not be a problem…
