Was Drake Maye's knee down on the two minute warning throw?

And the second part of the equation, Diggs was wide open and caught the low ball. No Bills defender within 5 yards. -
The Democrat Senators (AGAIN)

No, his knee was not down -
I won’t claim to be an expert on the day in question but it sure seems like he heavily contributed with his own illegal choices. it also seems the lady may have been only half paying attention and the trooper was like pretty aggressive in trying to get the witness statements to say what he needed frankly, from what we’ve heard it seems like exactly the type to be going to a grand jury to see what he could be indicted for and a trial for those charges. That he went off the rails doesn’t speak to the idea that he was confident in his behavior that night but…

I didn’t think his knee was down, so I obviously wouldn’t have advised wasting a TO on a challenge. -

I recall watching it, and on the replay it looked like his knee was just off the ground when the ball came out of his hand. -
The hit on cook was flagged and resulted in 15 yards and a first down rather than -4 yards.

I'm concerned about both. The Jags have had our number the last couple times we've played. The Colts should be scary simply for how well they run the ball. Too often we make the mistake of just comparing QBs & thinking we have the advantage, but coaching, defense & other players factor into things as well. As it stands, our defense would not do so well against the Jonathan Taylor. Thankfully, there's a lot of time left in the season. Still hoping for a miraculous turnaround when we get these guys off suspension & Ed returns. It won't help our sad DB situation, but it'll help in the trenches.

For all you McDermott haters, who would you want? (Now a poll)
Albany,n.y. replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sean McDermott -
If only Taron Johnson could play outside CB it would solve a lot of issues, I’d rather play 3 LB anyway because the nickel certainly doesn’t seem to stop the run and doesn’t seem to have done so for years now

I 100% agree, although the Bengals offense got rolling at the end of their loss to the Lions and that gives me pause. If Browning could stop turning the ball over, they might be able to get to Burrow's return still in the division race. It's funny how much better we all are at rationally assessing every other team's potential outcomes and how we're willing to allow injuries to be an explanation for losses. We could all use a bit more of that when talking about the Bills.

Yeah that’s not happening. 10 wins will get in easily this year. I think a 9 win team will be in.

Watching the game live, I felt like Drake Maye's knee might have been down on the 4th quarter play, right before the two minute warning, where he rolled right and hit Diggs for the big yard gain. I have not seen any analysis on it. I am not sure how he could get enough on the ball to complete the throw running that hard right, without hitting the knee to the ground to create whip. Also, the play happened right before the two minute warning. This was the very last play eligible for a challenge by the Bills. When Daquan had him in his grasp, and Maye released the ball, he was 11 yards behind the line of scrimmage. I know it was first down, but I was screaming for a challenge which I know could have likely cost a valuable timeout (w/o the benefit of hindsight). But if he was ruled down, it would have put the Pats in a 2nd and 21. So, do you think it would have been good to challenge the call at that point and do you think he could/should have been ruled down? Sorry I cannot post a link to the play.

It's been a busy morning at work. I had to work like 30 minutes when I was listening. I'll try to work less next time. My apologies

I see the Bills asking 68000 people to bring the storm and the coach staff as king Josh Allen to play like Chad Pennington
