nothing wrong with that. Would be odd if no one was. The debate is fun. As you point out, none of us really control it, we may as well have fun debating it between ourselves! On another point, I'm not really sure who Terry could hire outside a few lazy wack jobs (Rex) that would make this team worse. And when Rex was hired, the true extent of his nuttiness (and laziness) was not yet known.

Education in America

You know who else thinks that? The Trump Administration, currently extorting millions from Ivy League schools that allowed their students to chant "from the river to the sea." -
Nowhere more Third Worldy and crime-ridden than southern Italy c. 1917. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/may/28/italian-towns-claim-ron-desantis-as-one-of-their-own-as-republican-race-heats-up Megan Smolenyak, a Florida-based professional genealogist, who traced the DeSantis family tree, suggested that the Italian ancestors of the Republican candidate were lucky not to have been barred from entering the US. Smolenyak says Luigia left with her two daughters, while pregnant with another child, to join her husband who had moved to Pennsylvania years before. Luigia Colucci made it to New York aboard the SS Patria on 21 February. “On 5 February,” Smolenyak wrote on Medium, “while they were at sea, the US passed the Immigration Act of 1917 which was intended to limit undesirable southern and eastern European immigrants such as Luigia and her family. Fortunately, it wasn’t implemented until 1 May. Otherwise, she and her daughters could have been denied entry due to the freshly imposed literacy requirement.” The passenger record for Luigia and her daughters showed that all three were illiterate.

Man, posters are absolutely sleighing it with the reindeer puns. Well done boys and girls. (not kidding, btw) -
If that happens then I would hope Terry would be pissed about it since he is the only one who can do something about it.

.............unfortunately, this is a real possibility and our FO have no one to blame but themselves.

Winning sucks. I get it, I get it. You want to win it all at least once. -
In the NFC I think it will be from the Rams, Seahawks or Packers. I don't think Philly makes it. Something is off with them this year. In the AFC I think it will be from the Broncos, Pats, or Texans. Buffalo doesn't have the passing game (WR's) or defense to get there. If Cook gets shut down like he did in the NE game, then the Bills are toast. My guess is Rams vs Broncos.

The funniest part is, if they had stuck with Baker after he played hurt the season before, they may have even succeeded in finding their franchise QB. Mayfield should send them a Thank You card every Christmas for screwing him over in the short term so that he could succeed in the long term. -

I mean, you could say the same about Mike Gesicki's build, and he's missed hardly any time in his career. -
All I know is, if the Pats*** somehow get to the Super Bowl and win it with Drake ***** Maye before the Bills ever even get there with Josh Allen, I'm going to seriously lose it.

Yes, Cynical Publius, a Japanese carrier in WW2 is just like a little motorboat in the newest version of the War on Drugs. I really can't see any difference. -
I still think the eagles will round into form. Them, the Rams, and seahawks would be my picks. Then I dont know? Buffalo? Why not?

Right. In baseball, my team is the Colorado Rockies. (Like being a Bills fan in the drought, but worse) They stupidly signed former Cubs MVP Kris Bryant to a long-term contract. Shortly after the signing he was diagnosed with a degenerative back condition. He's played a bit over the last 3 years and he's been awful. It's obvious to everyone that he's done. But they keep making him come to spring training and going through the pretense that he may play again. Otherwise they'd have to waive him and pay his entire contract. They clearly want him to retire and come off the books, but why would he do that with $60 million still waiting. I don't know the particulars of Watson's contract, but I imagine there's a reason they're going through this song and dance.

As of today, what is your personal ranking for the potential Super Bowl winner? And… which two teams do you think will surprisingly miss the playoffs?

Bengals are a concerning menace for sure, and the score vs the Ravens last week (32-14) makes everyone freak out that the Bengals and Burrow "are back." But a few things about that game vs the Ravens... - Was the worst game I've ever seen the Ravens play, like ever - Ravens had FIVE turnovers, including one with Likely going into the endzone. These were not takeaways by the Bengals, just shear sloppiness from the Ravens. - Bengals were 1 of 6 in the Red Zone (17%) - Burrow had a 52% completion rate (24/46) - Despite nearly double the time of possession (~39 to ~21 minutes) and way more plays (80 to 57), Bengals only had 36 more total yards (382 to 346) I think it works out nicely that the Bills are taking the Bengals so seriously after this win last week (as you should vs every team regardless), but don't let last week's score scare you too much. The Bengals really didn't do a whole lot, the Ravens just stunk really bad. -
