  2. Sheriffs Cards, my first business.
  3. The last time I was at the Ralph you needed a tush push to get through the gate into the building
  4. we will never hear an answer but I’d be wildly curious about how it fell out of the playbook and was reintroduced. I can’t imagine that leaves/returns without McD at least involved in one of not both conversations
  5. You keep telling yourself that snowflake. Obama will be the one to tear it down and restore the rose garden.
  6. The NFL is finally adapting to gimmicky college spreads which is making the transition easier .. but it doesn't always set them up for long term success Yet every single NFL running back will tell you they prefer to run under center.. and the change up of formations and ability to play both ways is still fundamental to football .. the best quarterbacks have to be able to play under center well even if it's only 30% of the time now The bust rate at quarterback is still as high as it ever was.. 20 years ago you can draft 10 spread quarterbacks and maybe 1 succeeded Now if you draft 10 spread quarterbacks.. 4-5 might succeed.. which is the average bust rate of quarterback.. it took 25 years to reach that average bust level I mean I have an offensive coordinator in 7th grade too I understand schemes are getting more spread out... The difference is the NFL for a long time refused to play that style... As the game has softened which it has, and the rules started to favor the offense the adoption of the spread in the NFL became easier To the point where it is now a massive part of the game.. yet most quarterbacks getting drafted still do not succeed We have three number one overall picks in Trevor Lawrence Kyler Murray and Caleb Williams.. all of them literally have insane talent but are all underperforming... Because it's a vastly different game from college to NFL... For every spread quarterback that hits like Patrick mahomes there's 4 that bust Texas HS football has been running spread option football for 40 years and it is just making its way to the NFL that's a long learning curve.. and a lot of quarterbacks failed along the way to get it to where it is now
  7. Congrats Jimbo! If the game wasn't such a blowout he might have broken 300...an amazing performance.
  8. Hey everyone, not sure if this is allowed on here or not but I’m selling my 2 tickets for this weekend. My friend texted and has an extra and I didn’t ask anyone so I had one too. We are going to go in her seats and mine just got listed. They are in the club, undercover/heaters at about the goal line. They’re fantastic seats. I’m asking $800 per seat (they’re listed for more but I’d rather deal directly with someone on here). If you’re interested PM me.
  9. I say we target Samuel and Davis downfield to catch KC by surprise
  10. I agree what you are saying that there's going to be big draft picks, free agency signings, and other roster construction avenues that we look back on and say these were the reasons that the team couldn't get over the hump. But I also think that you can't just look at things in a vacuum or act like there aren't many reasons why teams have or lack success beyond a handful of even big roster moves. We will just have to hope that the roster can continue to be built up around Josh and they get the luck they need as well.
  11. Start him. Palmer is likely out this week. No trade made. Shakir Samuel (not on injury report, yet!) Davis Coleman Moore Shavers WOOF
  12. Kinda the plan all along right? Wasn’t it in that project 2025? Shut down the government and then it makes it easier to sunset all the wasteful things
  13. Some will say he is washed, some will say that Spags will elevate him to Pro Bowl level in 3 days!
  14. From a third-party perspective I think they are just about calling you out for the pretentious fool that you are. I support this fully.
  15. If you want to base your whole opinion off one graph on twitter, I guess DK Metcalf and Tee Higgins stink too.
  16. I questioned hatred toward the Patriots during their dominance over the Buffalo, too. A lot of people confuse hatred with jealousy.
  17. "Comically inaccurate."
  18. Hopefully this means self-deportations are gonna sky rocket
  19. I guess a WR trade isn't happening this week, so... Chiefs 27 Bills 21 Don't get me wrong, there are some intangibles that favor us in this one. KC on the road coming off a MNF game while we were resting our starters in the 4th quarter of our last game. Josh Allen as a home underdog. These are factors that sharp bettors would latch on to. Allen is going to bounce back from his slump eventually and this opponent might be the best one to wake him up. Unfortunately I just don't buy that our offense is talented enough to out score them. Especially with Palmer likely to miss the game. Spagnuolo has rounded his defense into form as you'd expect. They're not going to lay down and die like Carolina did. Cook will get his yards but without a legit downfield passing game the margins are too narrow. The defense I actually expect to perform reasonably well as they usually do in the regular season matchup, but this is the best KC offense we've seen in a few years so I think 24-30 points given up is a good predictive range. I have very little confidence that we can win this game. If Cook can really take off at a level better than I expect and Allen plays MVP/near-perfect caliber QB then we can edge out a close win... but that's a lot to ask and even then we wouldn't run away with it. Hopefully I'm way off in my thoughts here.
  20. But how do these other guys stack up against him on the basketball court?
  21. 26-20 Chiefs. Spags puts McDuffie on Shakir, the rest can't get open consistently. He'll blitz and we can't handle it til proven otherwise and he won't let Cook run completely wild. We will try to hit the TEs in the middle (and Shakir) but they'll be some tips and interceptions. Josh will be more uncomfortable than he was even last week. On defense, we do better than people think we'll do, give up some yards and get some RZ stops that lead to FGS.
  22. About to drink wine midday. I hope you all are ***** happy! So by that chart Tee Higgins cant separate? Really?
  23. But these updates are all about some noble, proud assertion on the economy and not about self glorification…
  24. Yeah. The Chiefs look like the Chiefs and the Bills look like the drought-era Bills. KC 38 Buffalo 20
  25. If they keep spreading people out and murdering them with that outside zone toss like they were last week, they can probably run all the shotgun they want the rest of the year. Allen's a good ball handler and you can freeze LB's enough with it that it should be almost as effective as traditional PA without Allen having to turn his back to the LOS. Feed Gilliam inside once in a while to keep people thinking instead of running, hit Kincaid up the seam once a half and you can create enough confusion to have the defense spinning like dreidels (a line I stole from you 20 years ago;-).
