  1. Past hour
  2. He may have been the best player, but there were at least half dozen guys in front of him that were far more important to the outcome of the play on any given snap.
  3. you want a nice white population huh? Kinda nazi of you
  4. Houston is going to be excellent. Their defense is going to be top 3 or top 5.
  5. I would comment that it's the least important position, but I know people would interpret that as me saying it isn't important at all. Check the average NFL salaries by position, the money will tell you what's important.
  6. I am not defending Hamlin. I was pointing out the games we truly got throttled were when Rapp was out. Not saying his above average even. Just that when he’s not in it gets super ugly. That’s indirectly saying Hamlin was not good. Hoping for bishop to improve but it don’t look great at the moment.
  7. Really f-ing good.
  8. I'm pretty sure that's out of McDermotts mouth but I don't have a quote handy. Brian Dawkins was 100 percent the most important player on Jim Johnson/McDermott era Eagles. There not even a close #2.
  9. I want to preface this by saying I love Diggs, I appreciate what he did for us, and I’m pissed he let his ego get in the way of what could have been a lifelong legacy as one of the best WRs in Buffalo. His name would have been on the Wall of Fame. He was the perfect WR at the right time for Josh to reach his potential. I don’t think for a second that Jefferson would have had the same impact on Josh’s development that Diggs had. Unfortunately, his window was short and he valued individual stats over team success and couldn’t handle the transition to Josh being the face of the franchise. He wasn’t willing to accept a smaller role as his skills diminished and forced himself off the team and hasn’t done jack sht since. If he would have bought into McD’s mantra that it’s the team before the individual, he’d have gone down as one of the greatest WRs in Bills history. Anyone who tries to compare him to Andre Reed needs to seek mental help. Andre is a Hall of Fame WR, Diggs will never get consideration. Anyone who watched Eric Moulds and isn’t just looking at stats knows he was a significantly better WR than Diggs, although a different type of WR. Teams schemed to take Andre away in the playoffs, he still made plays. Diggs fell short. Sneed ERASED him in the playoffs one on one. That’s not an elite WR. Diggs is just another of a long line of WRs who had a good few year stint then drifted off into obscurity. He could have cemented himself as a Buffalo legend but he chose to be a btch, force his way off the team, blow his ACL and now play for the Pats*.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Did you watch any throws for the bears game? The WR where not at fault.
  12. C'mon, man. In the 100+ year history of football, there has never been a defense where safety was anywhere near the most important position. In the vast majority of defenses it's probably one of the 2-3 least important positions.
  13. I played safety in HS. Overnighted my tape to McBeane Monday. And yes, it is VCR tape. It's gonna be alright, I know they will call me and I come cheap
  14. He was one of the best in the league when it was critical that Allen have someone very good. He had a great run in Buffalo for awhile, but he decided to morph from a team leader to an awful pain in the locker room. He certainly is not NFL HoF level considering all the great WRs in the league. He is probably not Bills Wall of Fame level either. Time will tell.
  15. I was waived/injured once. Sorry. Actually just injured. My memory just ain’t what it used to be. Honestly, that is too bad for Prather. He had a slightly better chance than most of us to make that team, so maybe a chance to latch on somewhere else is good for him.
  16. Agreed about the right to protest, and I respect that he took the time to go. However, beyond that one of the other great things about America is the absolute, inalienable right for one guy to bust the balls of another guy for any reason at any time. Besides, Fergie has directed some mockery my way, and I didn’t need some Amish school marm librarian to come up in here and chastise him on my account*. *More ball busting here, Andy, I don’t think you’re really an Amish school marm librarian.
  17. If @HOUSE has been pitching open tryouts with a modest processing fee, I suggest caution. Just sayin’ 😊
  18. Sacre bleu!!!!
  19. How good was Diggs? This is a wild conversation. He was easily the best WR in Bills history over a 4yr stretch.
  20. 100%, and I've said this a few times as well. Now will it turn out like that? Hopefully. These public comments by Coach are his way of "pushing" these guys. He and Beane have done this numerous times, until guys start to be consistent. I think consistency is the biggest issue with Bishop right now, and a major reason for that has been lack of reps/injury. I cant wait for Bishop to ball out starting week 1 --- said the same about Keon this spring. Bishop has looked alot better at camp, just cant stay on the field. Hes worked his butt off this offseason, just needs to stay healthy and we will see good things from him soon enough.
  21. Andre Reed is a Hall of Fame Wr. Diggs won’t sniff the Hall of Fame. So while your stats are nice, and you put he disclaimer of “different era of football” (which it was, and he had to share the targets with a HOF RB in Thurman) Diggs couldn’t sniff the jock of Andre.
  22. The best thing going for Mack Hollins vs Gabe Davis was that the Bills knew Mack’s sweet spot in usage. The Bills, and Josh in fairness, had a long history of giving Gabe a target share he didn’t really deserve to the team’s detriment imo. Gun to my head, who is better blocking and getting 30-40 targets out there over a season? It’s Gabe imo. But is Mack at 40 targets better than Gabe at 70? I think that’s a debate
  23. It’s not the protest. It’s him. He brings a ridiculous combination of 68yo beta male and 16yo schoolgirl to everything he posts. It’s risible.
  24. The Safety play last season was not. Hamlin keeps the Bills from being multiple. I think Bishop is shaky but not long ago Benard terrified the fan base. 12 snaps in preseason isnt the end. Actual game planning for an opponent could help the group and the communication of the secondary as a whole.
  25. From what I've heard any team that signs him now would have to put him on IR right away... Physically he isn't ready yet. If he wants to hang out in Buffalo and use our renowned training facilities and be there as our break glass in case of emergency option, I'd have no problem with that.
