  1. Past hour
  2. Beane does love taking on big dead money hits. This would be his cream dream.
  3. Was thinking about that as well. Probably no one and everyone. It's just a way for coaches to challenge all the players and get more out of them. There might have been something he saw from a couple specific guys. But I imagine he was going to say something like that no matter what.
  4. I would like to condemn those angry white 2A guys. Can you share a post clamoring for civil war so that I may do so? As a Republican, how do you feel about these three people calling for the destruction of America?
  5. He’s just so limited athletically. Undersized and out matched, he’s made his way solely on grit and intuition. A good running back that can churn out tough yards between the tackles, but I think these are a dime a dozen that come in bigger or faster variations. II think these limitations have him as a PS back for life. He isn’t going to make a squad on special teams. It will always be a long shot for him because of this. As far as his level of content in terms of current role, I don’t think any guy goes into the league thinking they WANT to be a PS player. However once they’ve been around enough, I think these guys learn what the future holds to some degree. A quarter mill a season be on the PS and keep the dream alive ain’t half bad.
  6. I know it's a business but after everything Josh has done for this franchise I'm appalled that they aren't giving him time to catch on with another team.
  7. I mean we certainly could lose week 1. It's possible. When the best teams play each other in the NFL they are flip of a coin games. I don't see us being blown out though. I would genuinely be surprised if we were. Yes, the Ravens blew us out last year week 4 - the only regular season loss by more than once score in almost 3 years - but everything that could have gone wrong that day for the Bills did, basically. Including their rookie DC having an absolute meltdown for the rest of the first half after the first play touchdown. I think looking purely at yardage in the playoff game is a bit of a misnomer. The Ravens were behind basically the whole game from 7-0 and in catch up mode and the Bills had two scoring drives where they started 20 yards further up the field because of Ravens turnovers that as a result didn't net the yardage they might have otherwise even though they netted the points. So game flow and field position were a factor. Would the Bills have won that game without the turnovers? No, probably not. But they did get the turnovers. They have been almost historically consistent over the McDermott era in terms of generating turnovers on defense. For a stat that generally has high volatility the Bills have shown remarkable consistency. It's Ravens - Bills. They are both excellent teams. One will win and one will lose. The result might make a difference to the one seed at the end, possibly, but otherwise it doesn't mean the winner can with the superbowl and the loser can't.
  8. She's very upset that a fellow Democrat and black man would dare speak to a non leftist. Seems racist. Your rules.
  9. Drag up This forum through the Obama years….a good chunk of it was angry white 2a guys clamoring for a civil war
  10. You’re smarter than I was giving you credit for - genius, actually. You know why? The odds give the Bills something like a 10–14% chance of winning the Super Bowl. Which means 85–90% of the time, they don’t. So really, you’re playing the safe bet. But hey, anyone can hang out in the shallow end with two feet on the ground. Why don’t you come test the deep water? 😉
  11. It's another big money hustle. All these NGOs get billions to support an army of otherwise unemployed activists. Governments and investment banks on Wall Street are salivating at the idea of creating carbon credits traded thru a big profitable exchange while the public gets screwed with more taxes, fees, and increased product costs. The wealthy talk the game , generate PR and make appearances, but don't play the game, yachting and flying all about. Meanwhile, China and India pump out two addition units of CO2 for everyone one unit we're coerced to eliminate. On logical inspection it's all quite ridiculous. Sadly all the slogans and bought off "scientists" are out there to thwart logic and questioning.
  12. Today
  13. Opinions vary … I actually sold my 03 TJ and bought the Tacoma, and while it was great off road and fun going doorless and topless, my opinions remain. Engine itself was bulletproof however. It’s a Dodge product now, so expect issues
  14. Yes I couldn’t believe the rose colored glasses wearing folks here after the draft. JUST because they drafted all defense doesn’t mean they are going to significantly improve the defense THIS year. You hope your first and second round pick make an impact. With beanes track record. HA! And max is seriously hurt. and then you hope a later round guy surprises and gets some solid starting production bosa and Von are same to me we’re not better on D. Or I’ll say this. We’re not Super Bowl caliber defense. Again.
  15. I wish there were room somewhere on this roster for Gore. I think he's got a load of potential. I can't imagine he'll be content to be a career practice squad player. Unfortunately for him, he's stuck behind 3 established backs, and the only way he'll see the field is if there's an injury or if he's traded.
  16. Not always. And this year, we have *so* many players dinged up, we can't really afford to do that - as we need to be able to field a team for the last Pre-Season game while also sitting a large percentage of the guys making the 53.
  17. After this past game, might be more appropriate to call it a courtesy “flush”
  18. How do you consider it "dirty pool"? It's simply fact that most Drafted Rookies don't light the league on fire in Year 1. Especially when you're consistently picking at the bottom of Round 1. Yes, you need to be patient with Draft Picks. You can't rely on them to get the NFL game down immediately. And the Bills aren't doing that on Defense this year. They have fall back plans everywhere. We're not just relying on Maxwell Hairston and Dorian Strong. We signed Tre White and Dane Jackson. We're not just relying on T.J. Sanders and Deone Walker. We signed Larry Ogunjobi. We're not just relying on Landon Jackson. We signed Joey Bosa and Michael Hoecht. Of course you *want* to find 1st year impact players in the Draft. But the Draft is a crap shoot as is. It's an even bigger crap shoot if you're wanting to see major Year 1 impact. And an even bigger one still if you want Year 1 impact while consistently picking at the bottom of the Round.
  19. Don't we typically do some "courtesy cuts" by this time? By that, I mean releasing players that they know won't be making the roster giving them a chance to hook up w/ another team in time for the last PS game? I know we've released/waived a few players but w/ the exception of K Davis (whose signing was injury induced), all or at least most were injury related. Often times, someone like E Moore or D Jackson would be let go once we think it's unlikely we'll have them on the roster- again, largely a courtesy to them.
  20. This team will never win with Mcd schemes and Beane players!
