  1. Past hour
  2. She went to school (and lived in Rochester) for several years.. I literally couldn’t have bumped into anyone better
  3. I saw some tape of the Sr. Bowl where he was using power and not just standing upright. My hope is that he'll be the Josh of the defense. If you remember, Josh had tremendous arm talent but his footwork was a huge concern, however. At the Sr. Bowl, the tape showed he'd made big improvements in footwork...He wasn't there yet, but you started to see that progress. If Walker can stay healthy and improve his mechanics, he could be a monster.
  4. I have been pretty happy with every Bills roster of the past 6 years. I didn't buy 2024 as being a mini-rebuild year. But this is the best I've felt about a Bills roster. I also have a funny feeling about the upcoming season.
  5. Has to be Peterman. He’s the one guy that would keep Josh on the field no matter how bad any non life threatening injury might be.
  6. Yes, most well rounded, complete roster under Allen
  7. We’ve yet to lose a single game this year….so there’s that.
  8. Incentives are typically negotiated between the player and team. Here is a good example of it:
  9. She’s a keeper.
  10. there were so many wtf were we thinking where we were clearly going the wrong way. troupe over Gronk. Basham over Humphrey...or was it Linderbaum? TJ graham over russ wilson in a trade up. i don't get it.
  11. My burner account sucks.
  12. Can't remember ever seeing a Bills CB move like this
  13. He doesn't look like your prototypical 3 tech either (like Jordan Philips, although I think he can be more than that) . Dude is pretty much a unicorn. Something else that's encouraging is that his intangibles are very good. Team captain and loved by his teammates and coaches. Doubt the Bills would have drafted him, given the issues around whether he will translate to the pros, if his character was problematic. His good tape is excellent but we don't get to see his bad and meh reps (unless you follow Kentucky) which are certainly much more numerous. He needs to be better conditioned. He plays with a good motor until he gets puffed later in games. Given where he was taken I absolutely love this pick. Upside is stratospheric.
  14. "I'm not at all convinced that everything is going to work out well, but on the other hand, there's nothing wrong in thinking it should." - Michael Collins, Apollo 11 Command Module Pilot
  15. I don't. To quote the architect from the Matrix, "Hope. It is the quintessential human (Bills fan) delusion, simultaneously the source of your greatest strength and your greatest weakness."
  16. If they do arrest this woman I'll give you 50 to 1 that Democrats immediately start a lie that the administration plans to send her to El Salvador.
  17. We've made it to 33 on this one, and this is only ONE of the WR threads.
  18. Interesting. I think Jesus sees Sanders as false idol and one of the Pharahos wicked henchmen. Probably stays completely clear of the political landscape and sees DC and its occupants generally in a Soddom/Gomorrah vein. While we disagree there, your imaginary dialogue likely played out as you have laid it out above. I can def see that.
  19. How about we just look at the market price of a 200 carry 1,000 yd-ish back - (+ 50 rec for 300 yds) because that is what he has been, and that is the role the Bills have in mind for him. And that is not a $15M role. The useless bit of information about Cook's relative usage on our team is irrelevant. Without Cook someone else would be the second most productive player. And if that player got 200 carries and around 1,000 yards they too would not get $15M, no matter how exciting they look doing it. While you can downplay the 2 v 3 downs, you don't mention Cook not being out there during the crunch drive vs KC. Lets not pretend the coaches didn't want their best personnel out there - and Cook was not on the field. A $15M player should be out there in crunch time.
  20. Cook is worth $15 mill > Bill’s chick. No matter how hot she is, she’s already a PITA.
  21. If Kelly is just willing to handoff to Thurman, which they were daring him to do, our time of possession goes up, we win the Super Bowl and Thurman is the MVP. Period.
  22. Yup, I'm thinking, like some others, Week 1 SNF vs. Ravens.
  23. Totally fair question and good question - If you are going to pick what WR between the 2 years is the most accomplished or best overall player, the only correct answer is Diggs. But these are the considerations that also factor in: This is a 5 vs 5 comparison, not which of the 2 groups had the single most talented player. Talent is only part of the equation, its about how does that fit in within the offense we run. Diggs not only was no where near the same player in Brady's offense he had been during his tenure in Buffalo, but he wasn't even the leading receiver (Shakir was) during that period despite double the targets of anyone else under Brady. Josh I fully believe is better without him than with him and the tension he brings. Was Diggs still a strong WR1 in 2023, yes of course. Was he as good as he had been his first 2 years in Buffalo where he was a top 5 WR in the NFL, not IMO. Was he as good as he was in 2022...maybe, but he didn't look like it the 2nd half of 2023 in Brady's system and had costly drops, including one that could changed the outcome of the KC game on a dime bomb from Allen. And honestly I thought he faded some the 2nd half of 2022 and postseason too under Dorsey. I was a big Diggs guy, my dogs name is Diggs. This isn't to throw shade at him. I was even one of the ones (who was totally wrong) and put his foot in his mouth and thought there was no chance Beane would take the massive cap hit to move him when we did and thought he would instead do it in 2024 if things remained tense with him and Allen/Team. But make no mistake about it, I was also very confident that we got better as a team and offense through addition by subtraction when we moved on from Diggs drama and let Gabe leave. And if you check my 2023 offseason history, you will see that wasn't just hindsight, I was very vocal about that belief. During the season in 2023, I started threads demanding things like calling for Dorsey to get fired, less snaps for Gabe and more for Shakir, etc. In the offseason, I started the Calling it now thread on Shakir the day after Diggs was traded, kept telling everyone Mack Hollins is better than people think and will have a real role in the offense, that the offense would still be top 5 in the NFL, we might see Josh Allens most efficient and best season, and that it would maybe be Allens best shot at MVP when he does given the perceptions heading into the season about the WR room. I said all those things a lot all offseason. So while I know Diggs is the best "individual", I don't think just having him in the WR room makes it the best group for this offense and Allen. Nor do I think the 2023 version of Diggs is talented enough to erase the deficit I think the rest of the 2023 group faces in comparison to the 2025 group. Just my 2 cents
  24. AJ Brown complained about his targets all the way to the Super Bowl. Theres something in the water when it comes to WRs
