Against a top 5 team, this would have been a convincing loss. If this was played in New Orleans, not sure it comes out as it did. I enjoy a win as much as anyone who suffered for 20 years, but unless Hoecht, Obunjobi, Milano, Ed and Max get and stay active, I don't see IT this year either. Do you think this team can compete with Philly? I don't. We'll find out in December.

Maybe so, but at the very least, it’s a combination. Because I’ve witnessed the Chiefs offense struggle to move the ball against much worse defenses than the “decimated” version of Ravens defense. Put it this way, if it were the Bills with this type of output after getting our top WR back, our board would be all over how much that player means to the team. I think most of us - myself included - do not like to admit to ourselves how good this kid is becoming. Thank goodness he appears to be fragile and potentially injury prone.

Yup, Reid Furguson is the problem, not bad tackling, not the lack of a pass rush, not the inability to stop the run.

Because we haven't won the SB. It's that simple. Fans would still complain if they had won it. But it wouldn't be a large majority. I'm still waiting for this amazing defense to take shape from this defensive head coach since 2017, even when it was top 10 did anyone ever feel like it was so good that we could beat a team in the playoffs if Allen had an off game? I sure never did. I always hope that I'm wrong and we can win even in spite of McDermotts terrible scheme but so far we haven't been able to do that.

When they have Rice back as well we’ll be longing for the days early this season when we thought the Chiefs might possibly miss the playoffs entirely.

You’re also kidding yourself if you think the Ravens being decimated on defense didn’t have anything to do with it.

No fan base in the league whines and complains about being 4-0 more than the Bills fan base.

It certainly factored in, but regardless, it has been a while since we have seen the Chiefs put up 30+ that easily against any team and we are kidding ourselves if we don’t think Worthy was a big reason for that. That said, I am probably more concerned with the fact that the Chiefs obviously have a defense that is capable of slowing down playoff caliber offenses (as they have been for a while) and we do not.

It's hard to judge because of how decimated on D the Ravens are. I think the Panthers would have put up alot of points on them today. He is a key addition of course. But time will tell. In fact, time will tell with alot of teams. No team out there is a juggernaut. There is no 2007 Patriots or 2013 Broncos type team.
