  2. Yeah the top of this one isnt overly impressive, but a few id be ok taking where we usually draft. I think we need to trade for someoneestablished. Also Trey Lance has a younger brother that plays WR at N.Dakota (NDSU? or just NDakota, green and yellow team). Projected in 3rd-5th rd range. Seems like a guy we should be super interested in (as an option, not THE option). But overall, shocking how little speed there is coming outta this one. People won't like it, but I'm 1,000% OK taking a slot guy if the value is better overall there. We need a volume guy, needs to be durable. Shakir aint a volume guy. No hate on him, but Josh never looked better than when we had Beasley. Look what JSN brings to the table in Seattle. If someone like Makai Lemon falls anywhere near us, we need to go grab dude. Also, big fan of KC Concepcion!
  3. I just saw that he was NOT limping. I'll take that as mildly good news. Even when I stub my toe, I limp a little.
  4. Did his wife delivery or is she having complications with her pregnancy?
  5. Cosell has sung this tune before he is secretly a Bill's hater even though he comes on one Bill's live all the time . I thought a lot of his analysis last year was marginal. A few years ago, I really got tired of his takes. I don't really even listen to his sections anymore. And it's not just because he's saying things I don't want to hear. It just drips with marginal insights. Take for example this Josh's still Superman garbage. We've got the second best running back in the NFL. We run the ball a ton and have a ton of support in the run game. I think when you look at the Bills team. You can't overlook that there is a lot of talent on the offensive line. It's a top five unit even though we really crapped out a couple games this year. Next, do you have an elite level running back. You have an elite level quarterback and I think honestly you have a solid wide receiver slot in Shakir. And another solid tight end when healthy in Kincaid. That's about as good as most of the quality offenses in the league even though we are lacking the elite big sized wide receiver. I get it. We don't have a true number, one wide receiver. That's not the same as saying the team doesn't have talent and Cosell has never been able to get over that.
  6. Ok, we're (or maybe just me) dying to know the inside joke. I mean, if you and @Fr. Jerkand GC have something going on, it's ok boys, it's 20-freaking-25; all good. (and, for no reason whatsoever, I somehow feel @HOUSE is in on the joke). Jesus, I gotta spend much less attention to this board. ///all sarc
  7. Bills spent nearly every draft pick on Defense, and will probably need to spend most picks again on defense. Bills need DE, LB, CB, Slot, S, and WR1, WR2 IMO. Perhaps more OL. Beane, or whomever is making draft selections has to rock this offseason. Pats are gonna have $60 million cap space, Jets are loaded with premium draft picks, Dolphins will have high draft picks. Bengals, Chiefs, Ravens, etc will have softer schedules and better draft picks,. Bills must improve to keep up.
  8. Because I'm an assshole too.
  9. It was his pinky finger.
  10. OK, I'm ready to try fentanyl now.🤦
  11. definitely not cursed, at all
  12. I've mentioned this before but while everyone makes post after post bemoaning the strength and conditioning staff anytime an injury occurs - I've begun to wonder if McDermott isn't pushing the guys too hard in practice on a weekly basis. Obviously, this is just speculation on my part. As the media only sees the opening walkthroughs and no one knows what a McDermott in season practice looks like, besides the people there. But the thought popped in to my head the Wednesday following Week 1. Ed Oliver was doing a presser that day and he was asked about the difficulties of putting the pads on Wednesday following a grueling Monday Night Football game. He said something along the lines of 'we killed each other for 60+ minutes on a Monday night and we're here on a Wednesday morning going full go. But that's just what we do' (or something like that). Ironically, that was the practice he hurt his foot in. Again, no clue if it's true or not. But we've replaced strength and conditioning staffs at least once (maybe twice, I can't really recall). The results remain the same. And the number of injuries we incur outside of games seems to be more than others. The only thing I can think of is maybe McDermott goes full contact too much in the middle of the week.
  13. "Nothing to sneeze at" as your grand pappy used to say ...
  14. Germans are all patriots fans. Interesting they’re trying to force that to another team
  15. If the Bills are so lucky (?), make sure someone familiar with crossing time zones and 'jet lag' is in charge of travel arrangements. 🤨
  16. While maybe an evaluation of the training staff is merited in the offseason, it's a jammed toe. I doubt the training staff has a "toe" program of exercises that can prevent a jam.
  17. Possibly. Why do you ask?? 😄
  18. I actually think I agree with the OP. I brought this exact same scenario up in I think the Game week thread. I would throw in one scenario and I'd be entirely for resting guys. If the Broncos win these next 2 games, the Bills would no longer have a shot at the #1 seed. At that point, I'm surprised at the negativity towards this scenario. If the Bills are in a position where that Philly game is completely meaningless as far as the division title goes and only (possibly) matters in terms of whether we're the 5th, 6th, or 7th seed, why would we not consider resting important players? Obviously they would then have to beat the Jets the following week, so the team would transition right into playoff mode, but they could almost view that as a "knock off the rust" game for the players who sat out the week before. If the proposed scenario happens, I'm for resting starters.

  20. An amazing play, amazing everyone. Not just the crazy accurate throw, but add in the situation, 4th down, and look at what is going on right in front of Josh when he throws! How can someone throw through that mess, at the angle, and into a mess like that? More games like that and the Bills go 3-1 or 4-0, and Allen may very well win his 2nd MVP, should.
  21. Benford is probably our most impactful player on D. That would obviously be tough if he can't play, or isn't close to 100%. But it's not like we're lacking depth there. Lewis has been playing a lot, and Tre has given us some solid play. Hoping for the best, and that this is just a stubbed toe & all very precautionary. What a weird year in terms of injuries. Maybe it balances out & we're healthy in the playoffs.
  22. I think Denver is properly questioned and Jacksonville is getting slept on a bit personally I’ve seen Denver look bad for three quarters far too often to trust them at all.. their strength of victory is atrocious(worse than NEs even) and they just snuck away with a lot of those wins. The Philly win is starting to lose its luster with Philly losing to a straight up injury decimated chargers team funny enough I think bills broncos jags are right in a row in the epa/play ranking 😂
  23. Moves like this set your franchise back. Most receivers are NFL ready or close to out of college. Draft a stud, virtually no cap hit, and save your other pick(s) or player(s) or both.
  24. They're a very pedestrian and flawed offense with a below average QB. Great defense sure, but not at Houston's level of physicality. Houston was ready to beat the breaks off them until Stroud got hurt. Tons of close wins, bad DVOA, lower than the year prior. Buffalo would be favored at Denver. In fact Buffalo would be favored or even money in every playoff game if this ends up being the field. So to say we should plow thru these teams is a mistake as we are vulnerable as well, but we also have the best QB in the playoffs and a decisive edge at that position vs any other team.
