Agree. Let's not go back to that. He doesn't not fit into Brady's scheme. Plus, one of the main reasons Josh's INTs went down was because of Davis leaving.
-
Yes, because we definitely want a guy with zero front office experience running the show. Again. It worked so well the first time.

Oh I agree Pickens has the making of a good to great WR. More upside than Moore for sure.
-
That seems pretty cheap all things considered. I'm guessing the Steelers wouldn't have traded him inside the conference, because it seems like the Chiefs or Bills would have been at least in the running for a player like this.

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL

We’ll, let’s not act like we didn’t pick in the top half for almost 20 straight years -
maybe. I wouldn't compare him to Pickens talent though
-
Shakir / Coleman / Kincaid Samuel / Palmer / Moore Knox kinda like this, wtf do I know lol,
-
Or Pittsburgh now that they traded Pickens. They have DK and a bunch of unproven guys.
-
-
I don't see any harm if he comes to camp for vet min.
-
The back half of his last season in Buffalo was so brutal. He either forgot how to play football or straight up quit trying. It was so bad.
-
I think Diggs (and Josh) and breakdowns in coverage had a role to play if memory serves. No doubt a career game nevertheless.
-
My immediate reaction was no, but after giving it some thought there's nothing wrong with creating even more competition in the WR room, even if just through training camp. If Gabe is willing to sign a vet minimum deal and try to prove himself, and then wins a roster spot, it makes the team better.
-
NFL is amazing… Draft over, not much going on but some rookie mini-camps coming up. Yawn BAM Pickens traded. Gabe Davis released. Social media now obsessively talking about football.

You have to get really lucky to nab a top sack artist picking in the back end of round 1. There are not many to be found in any given draft year. -
Assuming all are healthy: Shakir Palmer Kincaid Coleman Ty Johnson Samuel Cook Moore Davis Knox
-
Look at what premier WRs are making lately. Crazy money. Didn't Elijah Moore just state this in his welcome to Buffalo press conference?
-
And it begins…
-
I wonder if Gabe was available a week ago, if Elijah Moore would have been a Bill.. lol. Happy that Gabe got released after the Moore signing though, as definitely don't want him back
-
Kind of surprised how many are so strongly opposed to bringing him in. Fits Hollins’ role well. Blocker. Field stretcher. Outside WR. Excelled in a WR4 role. Some element of familiarity with OBD and JA17. Does not affect comp pick formula. Would it be a bad thing to have six solid WRs? Samuel, Coleman, and Kincaid were each injured last year.
-
I would bring Gabe back on a prove it contract easy. The blocking helps and in a WR3 type role I think he would excel
