Wonder if Jordan Addison will be available this offseason
FireChans replied to gonzo1105's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Addison has some untapped potential with JJ as the QB, but I’m not sure I see him as a high-end 1 in the NFL. Although, you could have made that argument for Diggs too and he came to Buffalo and exploded on the scene into the top 5. I’m not against it, but I think he’s lower on my list than someone with some elite traits, like a Waddle. -
Yep, terrible timing this year to be hit by significant injuries and regression all around. The AFC is as wide open as ever, no team is special. The '21-'24 Bills would have rolled through to the Super Bowl. The '25 Bills? Nope.

Well that’s depressing.

I came across this random, weird CBS article about Acrisure stadium... https://www.cbsnews.com/pittsburgh/news/acrisure-stadium-why-it-might-be-haunted/ Here's a synopsis on the article: Here's the History: Pittsburgh is a community that is rich in history, and there's no better source for a good history-based ghost story than the Heinz History Center's Andy Masich, who took us back to July 1755 and Braddock's defeat in the French and Indian War. "It was a massacre, the British lost 500 killed on the battlefield, and many prisoners were taken back to the point," he said. But they weren't taken to the point, which was then the French outpost at Fort Duquesne. "They sent those prisoners over to a place called 'Kill Buck Island,' which is right about where Acrisure Stadium is today," Masich said. If you've never heard of Kill Buck Island, there's a good reason for that: at some point, the land between the island and the North Shore was filled in. "The prisoners from Braddock's defeat were tortured and burned at the stake on that island; their screams could be heard echoing off of Mount Washington," he explained. Another Spiritual Connection: "The Allegheny Athletic Association paid Pudge Heffelfinger $500, but he didn't want to risk his amateur status, so they kept it on the down-low," Masich explained. Pudge was an amazing mountain of a man, a Yale graduate, and he led the Allegheny Athletic Association to undefeated seasons from 1888 to 1891. "To this day, the Pro Football Hall of Fame has not deemed it appropriate to name Pudge Heffelfinger to the Hall of Fame," he said. "It's possible that Pudge could still be walking the corridors at Acrisure Stadium." Here's a video as well describing it: https://www.cbsnews.com/pittsburgh/video/ghosts-inside-acrisure-stadium-and-who-is-haunting-the-steelers-home/ Alright... Fellow Buffalo Bills fans don't stay too late after the game and hopefully you won't hear anything paranormal

Likely because the Steelers D might be worse than ours.

Oliver tied for 1st in the team in TFL only having played 2.5 games with 7 TFL. Also he is tied for 2nd on the team in sacks with 3. Bernard and Bosa also have 7 TFL, but with 11 games played. It is really tough to be down Oliver and Hoecht 😞 2025 season feels like it's turning into the what could have been season. At least we have a Hallmark Movie 😂

It would be out of character for 17 to raise a stink and make demands but it's probably the only thing that would force some needed changes.

Good point! Definitely getting bumped! At the very least, standing room only in the aft head!🤣 -
The first line of the 2025 Bills’ season video will be…..

Bitching about wide receiver was one of the dumbest arguments that former Bills GM Brandon Beane had ever heard… turns out he was wrong. -
Last two lines needs to be a new Beane thread😎 Poetry

I'm sensing a complete lack of trust in the process.

No way bills should be favored on the road. That is a joke.

Josh Allen should call the Offensive Plays

I know Marv wasn’t a good GM hire, but can he still coach? -

I do think he'd be a available if we're willing to overpay. Which, a desperate Beane will likely be willing, just to point to something that he did to address the elephant in the room. Then with Addison's size, he will most certainly suffer a catastrophic injury no less than 10 games into a massive contract and we'll be stuck with day 3 fliers, UDFAs, and mid free agents until Josh demands a trade. -

Don't know about full on no huddle, but I do believe they could've helped themselves against Houston's pressure by going no huddle. How many times did we see Houston rotating D-Linemen to keep them fresh? Hunter and Anderson were taken out on the early downs and brought back in for obvious passing situations. We all know how that turned out. -
I hope Josh Allen does not read this board, because if he does, he would want to get out of town fast. The great Bills mafia, hah! If based on the posts here, we have some of the softest, fair-weather fans in the league. When it's too tough for them... we turtle and pee our pants, to paraphrase Marv. Some of you please grow a set. Team is still in this. Given the negative posts, I checked the league rankings in offense and defense. In just about all categories the Bills are a top 5 offense and about a 17th ranked defense. It is clear that the team can win, and the biggest problem is turnovers-- we started giving them and stopped taking them. Can we just see how the next six games turn out and stop the effing whining? It is beneath the general toughness of my hometown.

I learned about American history when I went school and took classes about American history. I understand that history is written by the victors, that times change, opinions shift, new evidence can uncovered, people lie now, people lied then. I have no beef with a Ken Burns scripted version of history, with understanding it may be wholly or partially accurate, but do not feel compelled to accept his version at face value without question. A good storyteller can tell a good story. We live in a time when we cannot find consensus on important historical events that happened just a few years ago, where words and actions are interpreted or misinterpreted for political gain and to tip the scales of power. Like him, hate him, but the amount of material we have access to simply because Trump was elected v Harris most definitely impacts how history will be defined, at least until the next version evolves. Cynicism is a good thing, after all, doesn’t that bring us a Ken Burns in the first place?

...........dumpster diving yet again and expecting a miracle. The real miracle is why JA would want his name anywhere near this clown and pony show.
