So you want to wave a Ukrainian flag AND an Iranian one? That'll be confusing on your Facebook page.

I've been here a VERY long time. My first connections were with a dial-up 9600 baud modem in Summer of 1996. My previous user names were lost when SDS upgraded the forum software. There were (are) some real characters back in the early days. I remember some trolls named Combo, Ice, and maybe a HogBoy. They have thankfully disappeared. Of course, who can forget the infamous Belinda.

8 years? Only 8 years? 24 years here and one of the few non-mods/admin who can say that. @KOKBILLS is the only person here who has met me in person I think, and that was over 32 years ago (F!!!!) back in the days of our enjoyment of lavish buffets at the Township Grille Matthews, NC Bills Backers! Those were the days.... GO BILLS!

Dawkins and Torrence "snuck" into the new stadium.

Dion is handful, and a genuinely nice person. I'm happy he is the second highest paid player on the Bills. Seen from this viewpoint. the stadium is AWESOME. I can't wait for the opening. He sat in one. His butt fit but his torso overflowed to the seats next to him. -

He has caused so many issues for other people without any remorse for his actions. Pain, suffering, financial, property damage, the list goes on and on. He’s scum and deserves everything he’s getting. -

UPDATE: ISRAEL v IRAN - Ceasefire reached?
BillsFanNC replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
No because the initial reporting is always by far the most important. Media will continue to spin any mea culpas at best or just plain ignore their own false reporting and leave it sitting out there uncorrected at worst. The reliable media full well knows the initial story is far more damaging and permanent than any later "correcting" will fix. A few examples: To this day you still have people who believe that Trump called neo Nazis and white nationalists very fine people when in reality he specifically condemned both groups. You even had Biden and Obama citing this long debunked lie during the 2024 campaign. Another example is the original made up story used to justify the censoring of the accurate Hunter laptop reporting in October 2020 is STILL up and uncorrected to this very day here: https://www.politico.com/news/2020/10/19/hunter-biden-story-russian-disinfo-430276 The reporter that authored the above story? Natasha Bertrand. The author of the leaked intelligence reporting casting doubt on the success of operation midnight hammer? Natasha Bertrand. -

Coming up on being here, on this board, for 20 years now. It has been my go-to for all things Bills in that time. I feel more informed about our team reading everything here, versus trying to piece things together outside of this website. Been a part of a lot of great discussions with a lot of great people. Seen a lot of great people come and go on here. Had a lot of laughs and even shed a few tears. Wouldn't trade this message board, and the people on it, for any other.

Josh still holds it longer than almost any other QB would get away with. But he gets away with it because he is elite at getting away from the pressure that inevitably comes when you are holding it that long and he makes big plays down the field in scramble situations better than anyone since peak Packers Aaron Rodgers around 2012-2016. My worry a bit still with this offense is that a high percentage of our explosive pass plays last year came from Josh creating outside of the design of the scheme. He had more quick button easy throws to keep the offense on schedule last year than any season since 2020 - with that and the effective run game Josh had to do much LESS than in 2021, 2022 and 2023 to just make the offense function efficiently. But he did not have a ton of explosives that worked by design. Some of that falls on Brady to scheme them up better but he was calling them and I still think a LOT of it comes from the lack of vertical separation guys. Hopefully Josh Palmer makes a difference there. Because as much fun as Josh extending plays then hitting a Knox or a Taron Johnson on a big gain down the field is.... I'm not sure it's a sustainable way to live for your explosive pass plays.

Who is the worst franchise QB in the NFL?
GunnerBill replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yep on the definition you have applied to it I think it's Kyler. He has been paid, barring injury he will not lose his job in 2025 so in that sense the ("franchise" is tied to him) but he is the weakest of the guys in that group. -

GunnerBill replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
So in the rank the QBs threat the other week my "franchise" tier was my 2nd tier and the lowest ranked "franchise" guy I had.... was CJ Stroud at #13 overall. To me "franchise" means a guy that I am currently totally committed to, not even thinking right now about moving on from any time soon (largely cos they are very difficult to upgrade unless an elite guy falls in your lap). Of the guys @FireChans group together in his OP only Mayfield was in that group for me at #11 overall. I think @FireChans (and a lot of other posters in this thread) have interpreted it as meaning guys who are at proven starters who are at no risk of losing their job (other than through injury) during 2025. That was my tier 3 in my rankings and I had Tua, Purdy, Nix, Geno, TLaw and Kyler in the tier, with Kyler at #19 the bottom of it. I don't think Kyler will lose his job in season during 2025 but of those six guys he is the one who is most likely not to be the starter for the same franchise in 2026 IMO. Everyone after Kyler is still very much unproven at this point - Maye, Caleb, Penix and this year's rookies - OR is a proven vet who if they stunk the joint up in-season this year could be pulled (Rodgers, Fields, Wilson, Darnold, Flacco etc). So depending on your definition of "franchise" my answer is either: CJ Stroud or Kyler Murray. -
