  2. This is AMERICA and in this country that man is a MEDIUM and we expect him to be treated as such.
  3. With all the young, rookie contract talent Beane has on the DL, along with guys in multi-year deals.. I don’t know that we would be out in trading for Hendrickson if it makes sense. Youd really only be paying Hendrickson on a new contract, Rousseau and Oliver. Oliver, we can get out of that contract after this year if we want to. Rousseau, Hoecht, Jackson, Solomon are all here for the next 3 years and you could line up a Hendrickson deal within the same timeframe. On the interior, if Beane and our player development come through, you’d have Carter, Sanders and Walker on rookie contract for that timeframe as well. Would essentially confirm Bosa as a one year rental, but for one year the ceiling of our DL would be that of the Eagles last year. I think we bet on what we’ve done, which on paper could be a Championship Caliber DL by the end of the season.. but money-wise, they only really have actual money tied up in two guys for the foreseeable future.
  4. Can relate. When I was in middle school had a buddy with a tv descrambler. Once word got out, he was the coolest kid in class.
  5. You and your comrade are verbose. You could have made your point in these few words. Do you know what it costs for the bank to recoup its losses in such a transaction? Let’s say the overdraft grace is $50. 10% is $5 and presumably the bank would apply the fee immediately. Then they would charge a late fee if it remain unpaid and likely a high monthly interest rate on the balance. Do you believe the bank loses money in this scenario?
  6. The stadium looks nice, wish they did it fully covered but will definitely check it out. Gonna go to a game this season and next season to see the last of the Ralph and the first of the new stadium.
  7. The most important thing in the world to me is this scenario. Fans storming the field at the last game of Rich Stadium for an AFC Championship, a truly unique and wonderful scene for the NFL and a send-off for the old barn. Then a Super Bowl victory, then opening the new stadium with a banner. It would exorcize all demons.
  8. uhh huh huh huh... "annals"...
  9. Yeah, and it pisses me off. Still hate the Canes.
  10. I’m not certain that this thread exceeds the tedium of your posts. Sometimes, you carry the day quite effectively. My body, my diet, my right to choose. I don’t judge your hypocrisy for advocating the wholesale slaughter of plants in search of the perfect tofu chicken sammy or your flirtation and infatuation with certain climate-destructive goods and services—-oh, wait, I do. You know better, in fact, you’ll probably be telling me you know better, and you’ll offer self-congratulatory accolades that you know better, better. You’re Trumpian in that regard. It wouldn’t take much to move me towards being a vegetarian and feasting in the corpses of certain preferred organisms instead. It’s not so much the ethical part, it’s that if I spend too long contemplating how things get from there to here, I get a little woozy. Still, enjoy that which you consume. That’s what’s really cool.
  11. Looky, look ...Vikings play back to back over there, just like Jax a couple years ago..
  12. This is a made up myth that keeps being repeated. How do you know how the Bills wouldn't have taken Lamar? We do know the Bills weren't satisfied with what they had at QB even after making the playoffs. If you put Lamar and D Henry on the current Bills they would still be favorites to win the AFCE.
  13. This scenario is at least plausible, if not 30% chance: Bills host AFC Title Game in last game in current stadium Bills host TNF opener as SB champs and raise the banner in first game in new stadium. It's perfect.
  14. back in the day I made two create a teams in Madden: one with Dunkin Donuts colors (pink, orange, white) and one Starbucks (green and white). And here we are...
  15. Ergo, we should be accepting black South African immigrants too.
  16. Oh I agree. I'm just saying I would prefer they weren't.
  17. Not meant as a shot more a reflection; the fact so many fans long for 1pm games show how bad the Bills were and how irrelevant they were during the drought. The NFL changed over those two decades where if you were remotely decent/or at least had some players worth watching you had 2-3 night games and 2-3 games in the 4pm spot. The Bills literally had seasons where they had 15 1pm games which in todays NFL is wild given the amount of primetime spots they make available. Again no shot at you as I also enjoy the 1pm games and personally would prefer week 1 to always be at 1pm (or TNF ), but its wild how two decades worth of fans got conditioned to 1pm because the team was so bad haha
  18. Really drives home the point that white collar crime is the way to go. Rob a bank and you’re getting caught and going away for decades. Embezzle from the same bank and they’ll fire you, but otherwise sweep it under the rug to keep it out of the media. Can’t spook customers or, more importantly, investors.
  19. We got way bigger problems here.
  20. Fully agree that the Bills seem to be "good" on the D-line. If there's a rash of injuries there I can see a trade deadline deal similar to when they traded for Douglas in 2023 but I think given the depth the Bills brought in that's not likely to happen. The Bills bolstered the short term mercenary part of the defensive line by signing Bosa and Larry O. They then got their moveable "chess piece" in Hoecht whose on a 3 year deal, and they got the younger developmental players who should be rotational players via picks in rounds 2-4. In addition the Bills have backend development pieces in Carter and Solomon from the previous draft and Groot who they locked in longer term. Plus AJE and D.Jones are still there on the last year of their contracts. 2025 just seems like a very crowded field post draft and free agency even with the "PED Twins" (hilarious nickname) suspended. I suspect the Bills will if they like their rookies/2nd year players ability to contribute might move on from AJE or D.Jones before the season starts and wait for the PED Twins to come back. Or if they feel like a lot of the rookies still need time to cook and Solomon and Carter aren't ready for bigger roles they will just "figure it out" after the first 6 weeks likely assuming there's gonna be an injury or two after a third of the season is up.
  21. You can't judge someone who grows up on the South Side of Chicago for being a White Sox fan. That's like growing up in Orchard Park and being a Bills fan, there is no other way. Anyways, he actually reminds me of Pope John Paul.
  22. Bills are a virtual lock for 5 night games, especially given schedule
  23. I know the Leafs and Panthers has been the higher profile series in the eastern conference, but the Hurricanes are starting to look like champions. They have completely shut down the Caps. Anderson is looking like the best goalie still playing in these playoffs. Whoever wins the Leafs-Panthers series will have their hands full with the Canes who look like they will get past the Caps.
