That's what I mean though. I can't ever remember a team voiding guaranteed money for (not rehabbing) injuries. We know it's for the rehabbing but, the players union is gunna try and treat this like yanking guaranteed money for being injured. Knowing that and see all of this happen out of nowhere, they must have some reallyyyy solid proof. No matter what theyre willingly firing up a pretty serious labor dispute. If Maxwell makes a statement, likely in exchange for pardon, absolving Trump and implicating or suggesting Dems were involved, his base will swallow that hook, line and sinker. All Trump needs is plausible deniability. It certainly appears that there are reasons that the leaders of both parties don’t want the information released. Trump is acting guilty as hell.
