  2. Yeah, the story was that Beane felt that it was the 3 guys that went in the Top 9 and after that, there wasn't much separating BTJ and everyone else who went over the next 10 picks after him. He felt that getting Coleman, moving back into Round 3, and keeping all 10 picks was worth more than getting BTJ and having less lottery tickets. He was wrong. There was an even bigger separation between BTJ and that next group than was even thought at the time. He says he didn't even try to move up. Who knows if that's true or not. I'd hope it was just a situation of not being able to get above the Jaguars to select him. But if we take him at his word, it seems like a massive misstep and scouting judgement as BTJ looked better than Marvin Harrison last year. But yes, it's one thing to rake him over the coals for not trying to move up and get BTJ. Or to say he picked the wrong guy if Coleman flops and any of Xavier Worthy, Xavier Legette, Ja'Lynn Polk, Adonai Mitchell, or Troy Franklin turn into studs. But the constant obsession over McConkey is tiring and ridiculous. It'd be like posting about missing out on a Nickel CB who became a stud if Maxwell Hairston looked rough in Year 1. McConkey is not the type of WR we were in the market for.
  3. Thank you Mon!
  4. A list like this that has Jayden anywhere other than #1, is just garbage to start. No GM is taking Penny over JD
  5. Torrence is certainly on this list.
  6. Yeah those Super Bowl Bills were no angels but their off field transgressions didn't prevent them from playing well(except for Super Bowls, of course). Kelly was accused of violence against women but was never charged like idiot Eric Moulds though. He'd probably get attempted murder for what he was accused of nowadays. Speaking of those lenient times, I have to laugh when I see the people with Cornelius Bennett handles. Most are or were totally unaware that he did actual time in WNY for sexual assault(forced anal sex, specifically).
  7. Question that probably has no answer. When the WH ordered two new Air Force 1s a few years ago, why didn’t Boeing put those two planes at the front of the line? I’m guessing the USA is one of their larger customers. If they’re still 4-5 years away (estimated) that makes no sense.
  8. so you want an echo chamber for maga's.... so one of the houses we visited in Georgia was that of a contractor. He had a big rock truck with his company name and a cartoon of trump with 2 middle fingers up. another with trump pissing on a caption that said "liberals" . I didn't get into it with him. No point. This is what MAGA's are all about. And you're concerned with shite posting?
  9. My 4 y.o. grandson was listening to their X-mas album last year, looks up and says “they have the most beautiful voices”. Awwww…..
  10. I have lost my shirt on presale the last few years. I no longer participate in it for any bands anymore. Ticketmaster is no different than Stubhub, Vivid, etc. these days. Unless you are a STH there is no more "face value". There is nowhere in writing where it says "OG price to the first buyer". If you unclick the "certified resale" that pricing changes with the resellers. I am a STH and we get a measle 4% off our tickets, basically we get a discount on the service charge. Anyways when I called my rep she told me that is off of whatever the current TM pricing. I watched the tickets I wanted (not certified resale) change in price before I pulled the trigger. The silent part they are not talking about is that price to consumer is price to consumer, and whatever their advertised price is is the current face value. I don't think you understand the current model of ticket sales. Because face value is basically non-existent and price changes regularly. If you want consistent face value it will cost you a minimum of $2000 for a PSL. And then you can say "my ticket is $125 ea. Otherwise that $125 ticket never gets released to the public at $125 until the market proves it needs to be that cheap.
  11. That's stating a fact. Through three games, he was on that pace. I never predicted what his final stats would have been or will be in the future. That said, nothing he did was flukey or gimmicky. With Kelce slowing down, Brown injured and Worthy needing time to learn, he probably would have put up big numbers.
  12. Yep traded up for Allen and then Edmunds was the first of Beane's long string of, so far, failed Day 1 and 2 trade-ups.
  13. true, and do you know how many times Bills pass on drafting Tom Brady? six..... Six......it's unacceptable.
  14. Much like with cognitive decline we often observe spikes of TDS fueled shlit posting. You can be assured that the PPP Shlit Posting Analytics team is observing and gathering valuable data from this most recent outburst. BigBalls as everyone knows is a data hound. He thrives on numbers and analytics so these episodes are like Christmas morning for the entire shlit posting analytics team. Despite that we here at the shlit posting analytics team endorse banning of the most egregious shlit poster sock puppets.
  15. Moved up to draft Edmunds over him. Warner and Milano next to each other... What could have been...
  16. Evidence of the posters complete ignorance. An arresting gear failure, a mishap involving a rapid maneuver while an airplane was under tow, and a shootdown from an auto system which was stupid, but that's what automation does. I doubt that the individual who posted this has any scintilla of knowledge about any of this.
  17. If we didn't have Khalil Shakir, we might have Drafted him. McConkey worked out of the Slot for 65% of his reps and came into the league as a presumed exclusive Slot. Losing Diggs and Davis and then Drafting a guy that would have effectively just took Shakir and Kincaid off the field wouldn't have made sense. We weren't in a situation to Draft another 50/50 guy and McConkey isn't even that. Having 5 of the Top 25 under 25 is crazy.
  18. Totally agree. They have the talent, and I thought they made big strides the past couple years in their style of play in the playoffs. They just seem to get in their own heads though. They very much remind me of the Sabres when they face pressure to win, and don’t seem to handle the ups and downs in a game well. You could almost see it happen last night after the panthers second goal (and definitely after their 3rd goal). It was like the whole collective team went “oh no, here we go again” and it was over from that point on. They had that tiny sign of life with the Domi goal to make it 3-1 but then immediately allowed the panthers to make it a 3 goal game again a minute later or whatever it was. I think the fan and media pressure get to them too, similar to here in Buffalo. But it’s just amplified x100 in Toronto.
  19. At worst I think this could be a case of "overdrafted" and "wrong situation". If he was picked high 3rd or low 2nd and was asked to play the big slot role with some ability in for contested catches in the end zone he would likely stick just fine with the team that drafted him. But, if he doesn't turn the corner he could find himself a FA. I don't think he will be unemployed in 3-5 years.
  20. Next...I hope he shows-up in camp driving a Bentley with some major bling on along with deluxe sound system and a big screen TV...then dad pops in to catch his pro debut and subsequent ad hoc presser... Then onto how debate about how many QBs the Browns will keep and cut...and then which ones pass thru waivers... then get picked-up on a PS squad... that should get us thru Labor Day...
