  2. You have teams that are good now and you have teams that were good then. We have dynasties now and we have dynasties then. If you get a QB now you win and if you get a QB then you win. It's all relative. This fairly trash argument to be honest. Compare drafting for the first 7 rounds if you want. He's drafted over half a dozen hall of fame players. We are trying to get Beane to a couple All Pro's. This is one of the worst takes I've read on this forum to be honest and we have some fairly bad takes at times on here. We haven't even been to a Super Bowl for gods sake.

    RIP Hulk Hogan

    mother *****...
  4. A cultural mega-star in the 80s and early 90s. There probably never has been or ever will be a bigger pro wrestler than the Hulkster. Then later in life, there was some more complicated and less flattering stuff with him. In any case....certainly a legend. RIP.
  5. Hearing reports about this WR room, combined with the very real fact that Beane purposefully or accidentally put his merit on the line in the Jeremy White exchange has me thinking this WR room is going to be much better than anyone thinks this season. All they need to do is find a handful of WR2 level receivers to go with Shakir and then Allen behind this OL could absolutely cook teams. If they go with the 5 we think, 4 of them are seperators to go with Coleman and the Tight Ends. Feels a bit like the Beasley, Diggs, Davis, Sanders year with the obvious acknowledgement that there is no Diggs level guy.
  6. Big thanks to @HappyDays and anyone else also posting updates, but especially you Happy who’s been so active and on it for everyone with the updates. Just more of your usual fine work with stuff like that, we all appreciate it
  7. Please get rid of the idiot who does RedZone. I watch it in spite of him. Siciliano was light years better on the DirecTV version. Hansen is an idiot.
  8. I’VE GOT A ROPE THAT COURT CAN GO PISS UP: UN’s Top Court Says Failure to Stop Climate Change Violates International Law. Dmitri Bolt The United Nations' top court, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), just announced that if countries fail to take measures to protect the planet from climate change, they could violate international law. The court also said that countries "harmed" by climate change could be entitled to reparations on a "case by case" basis, according to the Associated Press. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/dmitri-bolt/2025/07/23/uns-top-court-says-failure-to-stop-climate-change-violates-international-law-n2660827 https://apnews.com/article/un-court-opinion-climate-change-1ac84a94a5aaffd63518ef1da3502a9e UN out of the US. US out of the UN.
  9. I would like to hear more consistency on Deep ball Accuracy from Josh. Its one hole left in his game he needs to shore up.
  10. I’m so happy we got Moore. He was a beast at Mizzou and he’s been so underutilized
  11. Post of the day lmao
  12. A) This is for 2025. Did you see the draft and FA signings go very heavy on DL? I don’t know how it will turn out, but we no longer have just the cast from 2024. B) You have to get to the postseason before we get to see how it goes in the playoffs. First things first, but you can’t say they didn’t emphasize improving the DLine.
  13. Yesterday, I was worried that the offense sucks. Now I'm afraid that the defense sucks. And we don't even have a punter. I'm predicting 4 wins. (am I doing this right?).
  14. Based on it being much much harder to win in the modern NFL with 7 round drafts, free agency, and the salary cap. edit: Oh, and there were only like 28 teams in the league so less watering-down the talent pool.
  15. REJOICE!!!
  16. BLUE STATE BLUES: Washington ‘in the worst budget crisis we’ve ever had.’ “We’re in the worst budget crisis we’ve ever had,” Gov. Bob Ferguson’s Senior Health Policy Advisor Caitlin Safford told the Senate Health & Long-Term Care Committee at its Tuesday meeting. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act enacts changes to Medicaid eligibility, which is expected to significantly reduce the number of Washington residents on the program, known in the state as Apple Heath. While Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., recently claimed 250,000 would lose coverage and cause more than a dozen hospitals to close, Health Care Authority Medicaid Director Charissa Fotinos told the Health & Long-Term Care Committee she estimated 100,000 would lose coverage. While she said that “we can’t say with any certainty how many people will lose coverage and how much money it will cost the state over the 10-year period,” she added that “the impacts will significant.” https://www.everettpost.com/state-news/fiscal-fallout-washington-in-the-worst-budget-crisis-weve-ever-had It isn’t the responsibility of voters in the other 49 states to pay for Washington’s largess for illegals and fraudsters — the only people losing coverage under OBBBA.
  17. That basically doesn’t work anymore if you want to win a Super Bowl. Super bowls require a portion of your roster delivering more value than their contract. That portion is usually going to come from 1st/2nd rounders on their first contract. if Keon plays great in year 4, he’ll be renegotiating, getting paid and will be a net neutral value.
  18. yet our run defense struggled last year. Also, I only care about post-season statistics...The Bills don't really have good statistics
  19. I’ve said this a hundred times but im happy that we aren’t writing Hamlin in pen as a starter as we need an upgrade at that spot, but it’s a shame the Bills won’t put Bishop in his more natural SS spot where he could excel.
  20. They needed to trade up last year and get Brian Thomas Jr. It would have been an awesome draft. shhhhhh
  21. Keon Coleman quoting Kirk Cousins after today's practice?
  22. See, I don't think it's cowardice at all. I see it as political posturing, ugly though it may be. Let's be fair Mup--it's quite obvious the Russiagate fiasco was nearly 100% political posturing in the Joseph McCarthy mode. Had Obama had any sense of decency or desire for unity, he could have quickly and efficiently dispelled the Clinton narrative by stating that the Clinton team was working with a foreign national to sow discontent about the safety and security of our elections. It blossomed from there of course, but we know this to be true: Obama was a typical politician, as was HRC, John Brennan and the like--they manipulated the emotions of a certain number of American voters just jonesing for a great Russian crime drama knowing full well they would buy it hook, line and sinker. I don't think that was cowardice at all. It was a coordinated attempt to overturn the results of a free and fair election. That's why Trump launched Stop the Steal, it made perfect sense to do so. The Obama/Clinton approach worked very, very well to cause anger, frustration and discontent amongst the populace. Trump simply followed suit with his own unique spin on it. Both coordinated smears sucked, both drove a wedge between people if they allowed it to, but really---what would we expect?
