I mean it’s one clip out of context but I don’t love it. if he isn’t a culture fit and isn’t a talent fit, he’s a disaster pick when we needed to hit a WR lol.

He looks so disinterested. Not a good look for him. Diva attitude except he doesn't have the production to make you ignore it.

A Few Thoughts about the Panthers Game - Community Edition
CNYfan replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just arrived back from Charlotte. Had 9th row tix at the 40, behind Bills bench. A few of my thoughts: Poyer and Thompson are important stabilizing factors for the D. 96 Walker is doing a lot of very good work out there. Hairston made some plays but was being effectively blocked by a WR on runs in his direction. Josh Allen was bad the first half but Andy was worse. The second they faked that toss pitch and Josh got hit like running back after 5 yard gain. After that hit he was much better. I felt the Bills were well coached. There was a good plan, the 4-3, 4 -2-5, substitutions were good and the power running game was nice. -
My god, do you hear that? It’s Gabe Davis’ music!

Small update of progress -
I've felt for awhile (13 seconds) that McDermott wasn't a good enough HC to win us a SB and since then has done nothing to change my mind. I used to have faith in GM Brandon Beane but his drafts have been mediocre, to not give Allen more weapons is infuriating and now you can tell Allen can't find anyone open and he's suffering because of our coaching staff's inabilty to draft or acquire talent year in and year out seems to be more of the same. Both McDermott and beane have been riding the coattails of Allen and now they better do something to fix this passing game because it's 1 thing playing the Panthers with Andy Dalton at QB and another with a future hall of famer in Patrick Mahomes imo.

Or maybe Cook is lighting quick and make these avg players look below avg? I’ve watched a lot of football over the years and Cook’s running style is very unique. I don’t know who he runs like, maybe Eric Dickerson? But he’s a top 2-4 back in the league and these other guys pale in comparison to him now. -

I'd be excited for Meyers. Like you said, he's an upgrade, and the attention defenses would give him might open up things for the other receivers a bit more. -
This defense needs to build off Sunday. Need a few things to go our way as far as players developing/injuries and we could become something special. This was the first game I saw something from the defense that looked like what I hoped they might become in the preseason. love the power rushing offense, just want the defense to be a legit scary force come playoffs.

If this offense cant move the DL and run the football Its game over Be nice to know we can turn to a passing game if we need to especially against press man to man I'm not counting on it

Yeah but how long can we use limited touches to justify 2 yard per carry? Those are awful numbers. -

I think Meyers or Shaheed is the best we're going to do. Olave isn't happening bc they're both (Olave and the Saints) trying to get an extension done. A.J. Brown isn't going anywhere. Garrett Wilson most likely isn't going anywhere and if he does, it 100% won't be to us. Same with Jaylen Waddle. Brian Thomas Jr. *might* have a small, outside shot of being moved, if the Jags are blown away by an offer. But they came out to say he won't. I think we should still try - but I don't think it's very likely. Lockett being signed today is probably a sign that the Raiders will be moving Meyers. And again, there's a good chance he's the best we can do. Try and swing for BTJ. But if Meyers is what we can do, we should do it. He's a clear upgrade over anyone in the WR room not named Shakir. Same goes for Shaheed. Go get one of them, get Davis on the field as soon as you can. Have them replace Shavers and Moore on the active roster (or Samuel if he gets hurt again) and hope for the best. Obviously, you hope for more than that. But any potential upgrade is better than nothing at all.
