  1. Past hour
  2. How about Flacco and Burrow are both very good? The defense is the problem there. Bengals are 1-4 when scoring 38+ points in last 2 years, other 31 teams combined are 62-4-2.
  3. You apparently can. Whats wrong with my question
  4. Really disappointed the Bills couldn't swing this trade. 4/5/6 round picks... really!!
  5. Somebody posted, I believe on X, the disparity in drops backs and sacks that Burrow has compared to Flacco, which supports what you are saying, Buff. I here ya, CBF. I am not dunking on Joe by any means. he is really good and I like him. However, the weapons he has go so very, very long to his success that just think some of his praise should be tempered a bit.
  6. I could totally see Andy Reid trying something like this. Maybe if we weren't so thin at CB. Can't risk him getting hurt either returning punts or at WR.
  7. So it sounds like you're essentially agreeing that Burrow is not in those three QBs' echelon -- which is really my point. He's a good QB but I am not sold on him as a "put the team on my back" elite guy, which those three clearly are.
  8. I like the fact we almost got a WR Nice job by Beane
  9. Neither one of them got a boat load of cash as a mediocre player in the league. So who's REALLY the best friend?
  10. I would have swapped a 3rd for a 5th maybe a 6th which is equal to about a 4th or late 3rd rounder. But I think what NOLA was clearly looking for in a trade was volume of picks. NOLA is going to be in a really bad cap situation next season. They need to hit on a lot of draft picks in short order. Getting 2 more picks in the mid-rounds helps them a lot more than swapping up a later pick into the back of the 3rd round. I think the Bills were more interested in swapping a pick to keep their pick volume the same but lower the quality of the picks. Whereas NOLA probably wanted more pick volume. Seattle clearly wants to give Darnold the tools he needs and got him a weapon. The Bills just didn't get it done for a WR at the deadline. I think that could prove costly but also means they like what they have enough to not overpay for a WR. I think D-line they could have added a back end rotational piece but they only lost two D-line longer term and one in Oliver is coming back possibly end of December to mid-January range and they were already very deep along the D-line. I doubt the teams fortunes are won and lost by not adding a Harrison Phillips to the D-line to eat some snaps on the back end of the rotation. But WR to me was a big need, we will see if that happens to hurt them in bigger spots.
  11. wow. you really destroyed me in that debate😂. Is that your last word on it? I hope so. It's all you've got.
  12. Helloooooooooo Cleveland! I hate picking the bad over the really bad... but in the end.... I cannot imagine a more disqusted and disenfranchised roster than the Jets right now... trading away major players... and others left behind upset cause they didnt go... had to all but beat and bury the momentum from their win and leave them in WTF mode...
  13. They'd suffer too, obviously. We have seen plenty of the Ravens without Lamar and it isn't pretty. We haven't seen much recent evidence of Bills or Chiefs without their guy but Matt Barkley once led the Bills to 41 points. It didn't mean they weren't better with Josh Allen. I don't think Joe Flacco's performance on Sunday tells us anything other than if you want a backup QB in the NFL then you can still do a lot worse than former Superbowl MVP Joe Flacco. In other news, water is indeed wet.
  14. Tibs, using coffins as a soapbox, before the fire is even out. Explanation for the slow, (yes his post was sympathetic, but why did he go back and resurrect an old "Blame Trump' for airline safety thread to post this news ?) .
  15. I agree. Take beane away, we’re still a playoff contender. Take Allen away, we are a six win team. Pretty simple. We are winning despite our front office salary cap blunders because of Allen.
  16. Profile in courage. Thank you for sharing.
  17. I was always in the corner of re-signing Cook just not at 15M so to me he'll be worth every penny if he keeps doing what he's doing and hopefully they start incorporating him in the passing game also, it's truly infuriating me that they don't. My only concern is that there isn't much running available other than the Ravens in the playoffs, even Barkley had only 57 yards on 25 carries in the SB, Hurts was the leading rusher with 72 so that is why I was hoping for another weapon for Allen to throw to if the run game wasn't working that well but hopefully that weapon will be Cook.
  18. I don't have a good rotisserie turkey recipe. I recommend just winging it. Just make sure you have a lot of beer on hand and you'll be good.
  19. Casey Toohill is back
  20. That’s the only reason I’m here, I had to see what the “hear me out” was all about. I’d say it went about as expected.
