  3. My thoughts too. Heat-related or a serious injury . . . .
  4. espn is unwatchable. I used to watch NFL Network a lot. I liked Kay Adams GMF, then she left and Jamie Erdahl (sp?) took over but the supporting cast remained. Now they're swapping people in and out (summer doldrums perhaps) but it too, has become unwatchable - probably why espn coveted it! Not thrilled with this turn of events. If you see what is happening with CBS-Paramount-Skydance-FCC-Trump you're seeing the push-pull of politics and news companies and less regard for the customer - sad times indeed. Now with Disney Corp running espn and the NFL Network who knows if they'll ever allow autonomy on the sports shows or if it will all become unwatchable.
  5. I think it’s good that they gave this guy his say on the matter. Ned Price is a former senior Biden administration official who served as deputy to the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, senior advisor to the secretary of state, and State Department spokesperson. He previously held senior roles at the National Security Council and CIA during the Obama administration.
  6. If Keon doesn't catch 5 TDs in this practice then he's dead to me
  7. They have practice at 9:45 am today. By the vote in the previous thread, I felt we would have a thread for most days, rather than one long thread. Looking forward to browsing the reports at work. Thanks

  9. I get it- You spend 9 months trying to get out, and the rest of your life trying to get back in
  10. But in fairness, Mup, the statement shared is 100% on point regarding transparency and the abject failure (or complicit behavior) on the coverage of Biden’s decline and cover-up in real time. Is it cowardice or political posturing?
  11. The most promising description I heard about yesterday's practice was on Cover 1. They described a play where a receiver went in motion and as he did, Bernard yelled to Hairston who then relayed the message to someone else and repositioned himself and at the snap of the ball everyone was in position and picked up the play perfectly. Their focus was on Bernard, but, to me, it's amazing that Hairston is doing this first practice. I remember seeing Elam on the field and though I think it was still his rookie year, it was late in his rookie year. Poyer was yelling at him to get in the right spot pre-snap, and he seemed annoyed that Elam didn't know where he should be. If Hairston is picking this stuff up already and he has the mental ability to match his physical ability, he and Benford could make an amazing duo for the next several years.
  12. cricket is a super exciting game...
  13. I know this is a hot button issue for you, Red, and I can certainly appreciate that. The Jet use/cost is a fair argument, as is the use of Zoom to eliminate cost. I have no idea what other scheduled meetings or travel coincided with that trip, the importance of the trip etc, but let’s assume you’re right—it was a 1.5 hour business trip that could have been handled with a phone call. Fair criticism. We each decide where it falls in our outrage meter and vote accordingly. The carbon footprint hypocrisy is aligned with the other side, not this one.
  14. Tonight, tonight the strip's just right I wanna blow 'em off in my first heat Summer's here and the time is right For racin' in the street
  15. I think the masses already know. He is not only the face of the Bills but arguably the face of the league. He is also one of the most popular athletes in America. It also doesn't hurt his popularity that he is married to a celebrity actress.
