Is there an NFL team with a weaker WR group than the Bills?
GASabresIUFan replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
He had an amazing year in a strictly dink and dunk offense balance with a strong running game. You can win a lot of games that way and we have. I'm also in full agreement with Beane's plan to enhance the defense which has been aging and failing at the wrong time. I also disagree with the premise that we have the worst WR group in the NFL. That stats don't support that contention. However, we need to take the next step and finally win the AFC and get Josh and the Bills another bite at the apple. We can sugar coat it all we want, but our WRs don't get enough separation and we don't have a legit deep threat. Hopefully Moore and Palmer help as deeper threats and hopefully Coleman continues to develop and in year 2 becomes an overall threat like Michael Pittman did in year 2. -
Upon first couple viewings thought it idiotic, after a few more, awesome. Would crank it. Ex hated it. Was served separation papers not long after. Coincidence?

Back to the thread. Conclave updates World's eyes turn to Vatican City as papal conclave to elect next pope set to begin In total, 133 cardinals will be voting during conclave, the most electors ever. By Jon Haworth https://abcnews.go.com/International/worlds-eyes-turn-vatican-city-papal-conclave-elect/story?id=121507440 As Vatican staff take oath of secrecy for 2025 conclave, some contentious issues await the new pope By Chris Livesay Vatican City — All the Vatican staff who will be involved in the 2025 conclave to pick the late Pope Francis' successor — from the cleaners to the cooks and custodians — have taken their oath of secrecy. The punishment for leaking information about the ancient Catholic Church ritual is immediate excommunication. The 133 cardinal electors tasked with electing the next pontiff will take their own oath on Wednesday, inside the Sistine Chapel, as the conclave gets underway. They have all arrived at the Vatican for the gathering, and they've been seen this week going in and out of meetings every day, where they discuss the merits of the men among their own ranks — any one of whom could be chosen as the next pope. From Wednesday, the cardinal electors will gather in the chapel, beneath Michelangelo's renowned Last Judgement fresco, to decide who should lead the world's 1.4 billion Catholics. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/conclave-2025-pope-francis-replacement-contentious-issues/ ,

I bet that he hangs as a free agent, and some team with a struggling kicker snags him mid or late season.

A thread to collect the various scams, swindles, and self-dealing of our extended first family. Today: Melania. https://nypost.com/2025/05/06/business/crypto-traders-who-bought-melania-trump-coin-before-launch-bagged-100m-report/ 2.5 minutes advance notice = $100 million profit. Who got the tip? Could it be the Trump Familly Grifters themselves? That's for them to know and us to never find out.

Who is our worst match up in the AFC as of now?
Gregg replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott does seem to get outcoached by Reid in the playoffs. I would have fired him after 13 seconds but the only opinion that matters is Terry's. He likes having Sean and Brandon as his HC/GM. I still say it doesn't matter how well Allen plays as long as the defense continues to disappoint, they will never get to a Super Bowl. Allen will be this generations version of Marino/Ewing. Hopefully with all of the changes on defense it will lead to a better defense that can do their part so the Bills can finally bring a championship to WNY. This fanbase deserves one. -
Well, look, I think acceptance is a good word here... like of course he isnt like woooo hooo let me see you do that rauncy scene with another guy... like unless he has a different out look on life thats probably not happening... its gonna be weird... but he likely accepts it because its just acting and thats what happens in acting... probably he is also proud of her, this is a big role for her in a big time movie that seems to me like a bit of a coming out for her.... he probably is proud of her for that... but either way I do not see it impacting his performance...

Josh lost his best WR before last season. It didn't seem to impede their progress. On the contrary. They 86'ed the diva superstar WR and had their best record and went the AFC Championship game, and very nearly the Super Bowl. -

There is a difference between accepting and being “fine” with it. Many times proclaiming acceptance is only verbal. 17 gonna be fine either way in the long run. I just hope he is sure of his path with this girl before he makes her official. So many incredible girls out there who would be his own world and he would never have to deal with these distractions.

An excellent point, if I had claimed that Allen can lift an otherwise mediocre team. But that's not what I said. I said Allen is capable of lifting an otherwise very good team that has stumbled in the playoffs every year because McDermott is just not a playoff coach. He finds a way to lose, every year. A defense that steps up, as you say, will certainly help, just as it did a few years ago when one of the best in the league. But the players (and maybe a few key coaches) need to overcome the fecklessness of their head coach, to basically marginalize him, induce him to go stand in the corner once the playoffs start. Led by Allen, I think they're finally ready to do that. -

Why Landon Jackson is the next MONSTER in the NFL
Not at the table Karlos replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dropping a bunch of fat and gaining strength doesn’t improve athletic ability? Why do athletes do exactly that every year before the combine to improve their scores? Watch Epenesa in college and in the pros. Completely different. His get off is a lot faster, he’s not as stiff. Landon looks pretty stiff as well in college. Also never said it would up his score from a 4 to a 9 I said it would be closer. -

well, they could do an episode at the rock and roll hall of fame, cleveland clinic and walleye fishing on lake erie. someone could be knocked overboard or have a guitar broken over their head. A character may need a rare condition diagnosed. It could be great! -
aww, dude, did the nuns whack your knuckles too hard? A 2000 year old institution has some blemishes. I particularly disagree with clergy celibacy and no female priests. My current priest is awful in that he's clearly MAGA. You take the good with the bad. I think the good, including Francis, far outweighs the bad. You do you. Enjoy your particular flavor. My comment mentioned the Nicene creed being ecumenical, meaning that several later Christian iterations recite it. Which means they all spring from the same root: Catholicism- dating back to at least 325 AD. So really, you've just chosen a different branch of the Catholic church. Most importantly to me and what I'm most interested in is what you believe Jesus would think of trump, his tactics, his treatment of migrants and the poor, his saber rattling, his divisiveness, his lying, his adultery, his stealing etc.
