Oliver Still Leads Bills in TFL, 2nd in Sacks
thenorthremembers replied to Kaenon's topic in The Stadium Wall
This is what the Raiders do. Same type of mismanagement the Bills had in the past. My Father, until he passed, was a Raiders fan. My brother in law is a huge Raiders fan as well. Feel bad for him. -
And then the Bills had the 2nd best winning percentage in North American professional sports over a period of years, behind only the Chiefs. Let’s not ignore history just to try to prove your point. Beside, I’m told by people here that it means nothing without a SB win as HC. I know McD is far from perfect (for example, I wish he would hire guys smarter than him as coordinators rather than clear underlings), but some people here get so caught up in emotion that they often fail to see the big picture. It’s not personal, so I try not to get emotional. Might they be better HC’s in the long run? That wouldn’t shock me, but a dozen weeks of football is too soon to crown anyone.

Bryce Young didn't play and the Bucs are fading fast. Rico Dowdle is no where near a top 5 RB in the league, maybe his own conference -

You could be right but I'm more doom and gloom (The drought years did a number on me) so I'll stick with my Antonio Brown theory. -

If we're going to lose one, it would be best to lose to the Eagles, as they are an out of conference team, and conference record becomes the tie-breaker if they haven't played a team head-to-head.

Who do we want, who do we need as our next OC/DC?

I hope so. But curious as to why you think that -
Agree, the Bills are due for a game overseas...will most likely be a road game, because they'll want to get the most out of the new stadium.

My wife and I homeschooled our children until it became increasingly clear we needed two incomes to keep up with bills. If you take part in the raising of your children and teach them values at home, school doesn't have to be an issue. The problem starts with parents who have kids and then expect someone else to raise and educate them. Education in this country would be far less of a problem if parents stopped "trying to find themseleves" in their 30s and 40s and grew up. The issue starts with the collapse of the American family. If you want to have free time and hobbies dont have kids.

You could be right. We may never know. I don't have faith the Raiders will put enough around him to reach his potential. Jeanty was a horrible pick for a team that needed much more than a RB. -

I understand people frustrated with this FBI/DOJ to just do something.... But imagine if it were just silence since January? No updates whatsoever, not even a bread crumb about what has to be coming? If we sit here in mid 2026 and nothing has come of this I'll join the skeptics and go beyond, because if it gets to that we're collectively *****. We have one last chance to fix this and hold these traitors accountable. If we miss this one then the plug is never going in the drain and the nation continues the full unabated swirl into oblivion.

I brought him up in another thread, he's an x factor for sure. I'd be curious who he'd bring to his staff and his coaching style. -

We simply don’t develop enough good young players on either side of the ball but especially on defense. Then we are stuck having to give significant contracts to above average players because it would take so long to replace them. And supplement that with guys well past their prime like Poyer, Tre White, aj klein, jordan phillips, shaq lawson, gabe davis, etc. We are about 3 years into the McBeane ‘Holding on to something they never had’ tour. The only thing preventing the wheels from falling off is a superstar QB. -
Give me the seed and a trip to New England in the wild card round. I think Denver ends up taking the one seed. Or give the Bills the six seed and KC the seven seed. KC upsets Denver in the divisional and Bills end up hosting KC in the AFC title game.

Almost clicked a link but decided I didn't want to start my day that way.

Things got a *lot* rougher after last week. We have a chance to take out Pitt., giving us a two-game and tiebreaker on them. We've got a one-game lead and tie-breaker on KC. Houston is a real problem. We're only one-up on them, and they have the tiebreaker. The Chargers and Jags are tied with us, but currently hold tiebreakers. We're still in decent (not good, just decent) shape overall, given the schedules, but the margin for error just got a *lot* smaller.

This year, I think that is largely the PTSD of being a Bills fan for 60 years. I can relate-- I feel the same way. -

If the Raiders put together a competent oline and coupled it with a good OC Jeanty would be a star. -
Looking ahead the potential 2026 Schedule
Sammy Watkins' Rib replied to Nitro's topic in The Stadium Wall
my thoughts are just win the division. As tough as our second-place schedule looks on paper next year, the Patriots first place schedule looks far more daunting subbing Baltimore for Pittsburgh, Indy for Jacksonville and LA Rams for Seattle. Could be one of those years where 10-7 wins the division. -

The. Season. Is. Not. Over. Yet. 80% of teams would swap positions with the Bills in a heartbeat. IDK how you people will cope when Allen eventually retires. As ***** as it is to not have a SB, i’m personally enjoying being a yearly contender. We just made the AFCC last season and our regular season trajectory looks surprisingly similar to then. Have faith. We know the team can put up amazing efforts. We just need to have a few of those when it matters most. Allen/Cook/Bishop are all elite players that give us a legit shot. The ultimate X-factor is Big Ed’s availability at the end of the year. So much can happen. Injuries, suspensions, arrests, etc. People throwing in the towel so early. The Steelers and Bengals are very winnable. McDermott’s knows how to play pocket QBs. Please have faith, Bills fans. -

Brady is 100% gone after this season regardless of how this goes. Theres friction there between him and McDermott and probably him and Josh. You can sense it in their pressers when asked about him. Veiled comments and body language = not good. They turn it around and win it all, great… he gets his pick of HC jobs. They don’t, and it ends however it ends.. he’s likely off to a college HC job. Either way, he’s done here.
