I'm not an eternal homer. I'm just not a whiner. Constructive criticism is great, but that's not what we have here. It's really sad.

After playing with the ESPN Playoff machine this morning 3-3 should be enough to get in as the 6 in most of the probable scenarios. The match-up that came about the most would be facing the Colts in the WC round. Hard to imagine not giving up 200+ to Taylor in that game though. So for me I think they make it but get bounced by Indy or Baltimore in the first round and probably in a pretty lopsided way.

Yet, he has had games where the plays weren't predictable, like against the KC Chiefs, who have a brilliant DC with a top 5 defense. This is why Joe Brady's game planning makes no sense to me, because he has faced difficult pass rushes in the past, and never has Allen taken as many sacks. This is what is so puzzling to me, as Brady was hired at the 2023 Bye week, so he had all of last season to impress, and he did just that. His blocking schemes in the run game, for instance, have been awesome, and having the #1 rushing attack is no small feat. Now, suddenly, the team can't pass protect/block. Last season, the receivers were much worse, and yet the Buffalo offense was #2 in scoring and #1 considering the playoffs. I believe that Brady has the wherewithal to set up a top offense in both the run game and pass game, and now he has fallen on his face with his pass protection, passing schemes. McDermott has stated he backs Brady.

A lot of people who have this opinion do not know the definition of "fair-weather fan." A fair-weather fan is someone who only follows a team when they are good, but ignores them and stops watching games when they're bad. That's not what's happening here. People are rightfully criticizing the organization for roster mismanagement and uninspired play. You being an eternal homer doesn't make you a better fan than those who choose to be realistic.

Agreed. Also, I think it's pretty clear Brown is our best OL by a decent amount, and if he can stay healthy he is probably headed toward all-pro status in the next year or two.

I think Addison has some untapped potential with JJ as the QB, but I’m not sure I see him as a high-end 1 in the NFL. Although, you could have made that argument for Diggs too and he came to Buffalo and exploded on the scene into the top 5. I’m not against it, but I think he’s lower on my list than someone with some elite traits, like a Waddle.

Yep, terrible timing this year to be hit by significant injuries and regression all around. The AFC is as wide open as ever, no team is special. The '21-'24 Bills would have rolled through to the Super Bowl. The '25 Bills? Nope.

Oliver tied for 1st in the team in TFL only having played 2.5 games with 7 TFL. Also he is tied for 2nd on the team in sacks with 3. Bernard and Bosa also have 7 TFL, but with 11 games played. It is really tough to be down Oliver and Hoecht 😞 2025 season feels like it's turning into the what could have been season. At least we have a Hallmark Movie 😂
