I don't know about never, but yeah, it's a bit ass-backwards. Yet, if you've got a really good receiver, but not a QB, shouldn't you do your best to keep the receiver in hopes you get a good QB one of these years? They're in a really tough situation. Thank heavens for Josh.

I can see the problems with the things Bridgewater was doing. Even with good intentions, the remains the possibility that people will see impropriety. Moreover, if Bridgewater is doing things to make life easier for the fifty to a hundred kids that are involved in the football program, there are still hundreds of kids in the school living in poverty who are not benefitting. Bridgewater could be inadvertently creating an elite class in the school system where life is better for some and not for others. The kids for whom life is not better are certainly going to be aware of what is happening and will probably feel cheated. Maybe what Bridgewater could do is set up some sort of foundation that will benefit all the students.

Stupid money

Got one for wifey a year or so ago and she loves it. Makes a lot of sorbets and stuff like that. IMHO the only real downside to it is it is LOUD. The dog hates it.

Imagine being those kids & having this opportunity taken away from you. That's what I feel is lost on this. You're already growing up in a low income area, probably struggling with plenty of things that no child should have to deal with, then along comes a former NFL player trying to give you a better opportunity & provide your team with resources that you'd previously never had any hope of accessing. Then it's all taken away because of some adults deciding "if everyone can't have nice things, YOU can't have nice things." Life can feel really unfair, especially when you're a kid. This won't help.

My takeaway from that is Mr. Polka saying that the stadium’s life is “30 to 50 years.” If the stadium life is 30 years I think most people would be 🤬. This stadium had better last 50 years at a MINIMUM.

This year is my 30th from WNY high School and I have no idea if they even had one. One of my good friends used to be in charge of 10th and 15th but we lost touch years ago when I stopped dealing with Facebook.

And now, according to Trump (if I understand his Grandpa Simpson-talk correctly), there actually is a list, but it was written by some combination of Obama, Hillary Clinton, Krusty the Clown, and somebody else whose name escapes me. To those wondering where else you should spend the money instead: Trenches. Beef the trenches. Invest in the trenches until you find a QB. The cost of two high-end skill position players is enough to put together an entire top-tier O-line. When you do finally land a QB, you put them into a position with good protection and a strong run game to lean on while they get their feet wet in the NFL.
