Win the last game or walk away voluntarily.

I'd take a Superbowl or two even if it meant a dysfunctional team for a while afterwards.

RFK In Charge of Health Care
B-Man replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
On Wednesday, HHS Secretary Kennedy announced that the issue of Information Blocking would finally be addressed, and he detailed why in a video on X. Kennedy explained: I want to ask you a question about your healthcare data. Should you be able to decide who accesses it? Should you be able to view it on your phone? Or should healthcare companies be able to block you from sharing it with trusted parties that you designate? Well, that's what's been happening. It's called, "Information Blocking." And it's been illegal ever since President Trump passed the CURES Act rules in 2020. Until now, HHS has never enforced this regulation; I know this because we still receive complaints about information blocking today. This is wrong, and it's illegal. This is 2025, nearly 10 years after Congress passed the CURES Act. Patients should be able to access their healthcare information on their phones or computers. They should be able to share that information with their doctors, their hospitals, researchers of their choice and trusted relatives. After all, it's your data and you should be in control of your information. And you will be under the new HHS. This is incredible news, not only for patients with multiple providers or who have to manage their information across agencies or states, but for patients like me who choose to do the majority of their health maintenance with holistic practitioners. My experience in trying to access my medical records to share with my functional nutritionist has been like pulling teeth. And if you disclose that this is for the purposes of seeing a naturopath, a functional nutritionist, or any practitioner outside of a hospital or clinic, the lack of response, along with the disapproval, is often more pronounced. https://redstate.com/jenniferoo/2025/09/03/robert-kennedy-announces-the-end-to-information-blocking-of-medical-records-n2193548 -
So you totally ignore 40+ TDs for 5 straight seasns even though his coach is activly make him pass less, whatever! Mahomes is not a better QB, he just has better coaches and better players to a degree. Not a single GM in the league would take Mahomes over Allen if they were starting a team from scratch, not one.

The now beyond any doubt Russia hoax and sham Mueller investigation. The subsequent sham impeachment. The unprecedented lawfare attempting to bankrupt and imprison him. Two assassination attempts. The ongoing judicial insurrection against the executive branch. But don't you dare even try to suggest that these very same people just might rig an election. No way. 😂

Totally worth it. We're on year 9 with Josh. A ton of great plays and highlights, and great games, but no Lombardi yet. If we had to bring in another coach to win the SB, but sacrifice the culture after, totally worth it. Oh, Daquan Jones isnt having team dinners? Still won the Super Bowl Conner McGovern isnt making everyone pizzas anymore? Still won the Super Bowl Heck, if we won the Super Bowl, got through the parade, and then Josh announced he was retiring, we'd still be left with the best decade of our lives as Bills fans. We missed out on Vrabel and Harbaugh so we're stuck hoping McD, the king of consistency, is somehow going to make a drastic change. But if I had to put money on it, I'd predict another let down due to weak coaching in the playoffs, and then McD fires Babich as the fall guy and then promotes from within to run the same crappy system in the same crappy way.

Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF
BuffaloBaumer replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not your bro first. Second, I said it feels hopeless to me, not that the Bills are hopeless. -
I am not concerned with a loss because the bigger picture. Find the losses: Ravens @jets dolphins Saints Patriots @falcons @panthwrs Chiefs @dolphins Bucs @texans @Steelers Bengals @patriots Browns Eagles Jets Worst case? Ravens, Chiefs, eagles, Bengals, 5th loss (bucs, Texans)... 6 losses is hard to believe. Find the losses for ravens: @bills Browns Lions @chiefs Texans Rams Bears @dolphins @vikings @Browns Jets Bengals Steelers Patriots @packers @steelers Losses: Chiefs, Bengals/browns/Steelers (they'll lose 2 games in division), Texans or patriots...beating them is important but the Ravens always find a slump. They don't ever play the dolphins well, also. I can see 5-6 losses there. The Patriots will get better and play tough as the season goes on.

LOL.

Ok bro 👍 Saying the Bills are hopeless in this game is delusional And we have zero reason to believe that both White and Benford are missing this game

My take: There are no good options to pay for what I want and only what I want (Bills games) out of market. Could I pay for the full streaming package, sure. Could the owners pay for their stadiums fully with the revenue from their business operations, yes. Do they, no. I can't blame them, our elected representatives allow them to do that. It would certainly be the moral thing for the owners to do but they want to maximize profits. I take the same approach here, I'm just trying to maximize my profits and doing my fiduciary duty to myself. -

I agree that I don't loathe Tom Brady any more now that he has stopped hurting me. I wish I would have enjoyed Michael Jordan more back in the 90s. I couldnt stand the front running kids who would wear air jordans and had all sorts of Bulls/Jordan posters in their lockers and stuff. I rooted against him and hated the NBA. -
At least Dungy won a SB in Indy. I thought he should have won one with the Bucs. Dungy's defenses were always great.

Trump Astride at Seven Months Victor Davis Hanson Seven months in, Trump has curbed illegal immigration, steadied the economy, and scored foreign policy wins—while Democrats flounder without a counteragenda. Trump’s greatest achievement within six months was simply ending illegal immigration as we had once known it—without “comprehensive immigration reform” or any other rhetorical trickery. It remains difficult to find, much less deport, the 10 to 12 million illegal aliens who entered in the last four years. Those who helped break the law, by design or indifference, now believe it was moral to destroy federal immigration law but immoral to uphold it. And it is still unclear whether Joe Biden’s handlers deliberately sabotaged their own border for political and demographic purposes out of sheer orneriness or utter incompetence. Many of the left’s cherished totems—massive Green New Deal subsidies, the diversity/equity/inclusion industry, biological males competing in women’s sports, and the USAID revolving door—are either comatose or in their death throes. The historic drop-off in military recruitment reversed shortly after Trump took office. Republican voter registration is up, and Democratic registration is down. Abroad, Trump finds remarkable successes. For now, there are pauses in the fighting between India and Pakistan, Egypt and Somalia, Cambodia and Thailand, Rwanda and Congo, Serbia and Kosovo, and Armenia and Azerbaijan. Much credit is due to Trump for brokering ceasefires. Iran will not get a bomb in the next four years—as seemed likely when Biden left office. The Middle East’s current most grotesque terrorist cadres and states—Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis—are far weaker than they were when Trump entered office in January. There is at least some engagement in envisioning the outlines of a ceasefire in Trump’s inherited Ukraine War. The rub is finding the degree of ordnance necessary to convince Putin that increasing Russia’s casualties to more than one million will endanger his own (Excerpt) Read more at amgreatness.com ...https://amgreatness.com/2025/09/04/trump-astride-at-seven-months/ ,

Fantasy Football - Draft Discussion Only
The Jokeman replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall
A sophomore slump for Daniels might hurt you as don't like your backup QBs if have to count on them as a QB1 if anything should happen. Yet on the whole I like your squad so long some of the injured guys you took for depth recover. -
I think he has made a conscious effort to open up more to the media. And since that is the only glimpse we ever get into McDermott as a person and a coach, it makes him seem different to us. But I think it didn't start this year, it started last year.
-
There can’t be excuses this year. It’s time to get it done. A summer of injuries didn’t exactly make me confident in this. We can say that it’s luck, but you can make your own luck by not signing guys like Curtis Samuel and running an undersized defense that gets beat up over the course of the season because you don’t believe in 1 techs or getting out of Nickel. Really want to be proven wrong this season. Theres a ton of potential on this team, but Bosa health, Kincaid/Coleman/Bishop development and hitting on DL draft picks all need to hit for the most part. If what we’re hearing about defensive philosophy changing to become more aggressive is true.. I have some hope for McDermott. You can’t just sit back and let elite QB’s nickel and dime you to depth. Outside of Lamar, they aren’t going to make mistakes when it matters.
-
I actually meant back if a shorthand for cigarette packet but that was starred out!
-
True. Hopefully McD won't squander the talent the Bills have collected (like Dungy in Indy).
