  1. Past hour
  2. Damar Hamlin. For the second year in a row against the odds watch him win a starting job.
  3. Yea Cook is better than Harris. Not even close. The reason for the comparison is I was trying to find an example, even in these days of devalued running backs, of a team letting a guy walk after 3 consecutive 1,000 yard seasons - which I imagined to be extremely rare. I think it is but it just happened with Harris. That is the only one I could come up with though.
  4. Now blue state New Mexico right next door to Texas is flooding too. Gonna keep that same energy for their democrat governor? Just kidding we already know the answer.
  5. If Beane's invited as a guest on Barnwell's podcast, he'll likely go all WGR on Barney. The fact that Barnwell's only counting the top 5 skill position players on each team definitely works against the Bills. I think it's reasonable to say that the Bills have good to very good depth at WR, TE, and RB but this exercise discounts depth in favor of top-line starters. I've noticed some here have poo-poo'd the Bills' free agent signings at WR and I understand that after the Trent Sherfield/Deonte Harty play 2 years ago but I'm in agreement with those who are optimistic about Elijah Moore and Josh Palmer. Hell, I'm optimistic about Curtis Samuel and Keon Coleman too. And we know who Shakir is. I agree with the comment upthread that some/many are sleeping on the Bills WRs but I also understand those who are taking a wait and see approach.
  6. Zach Davidson being a 6’7” Red Zone beast. Daequan Hardy being a productive starter.
  7. He did campaign on it. Pushed hard for it in 2016 and 2024. All of them are poorly run? Fine. What's you alternative? Put more spikes on benches because of the increase in homelessness? You really don't know how politics work. This thing was going to pass on July 4th from the start. Everything before is just performance art. Those fiscal conservatives were always going to vote yes. You know how I know? They just voted on a bill that raises the deficit by 4.6 trillion dollars. They can now say "hey at least we cut some social program money." If you think these Medicaid and SNAP cuts will only weed out the leaches I have a bridge to sell you.
  8. Dude! Stick is so good! My wife and I just binge watched all 7 episodes in 24 hours. The kid's Mom and especially the old dude who swears at everyone including little kids is cracking us up! It's not as good as Ted Lasso but it's same genre and ballpark
  9. I think a lot of people being named so far aren't really "sleepers"
  10. Best football parody song since "When will Jauron get fired?" https://www.google.com/search?q=when+will+jauron+get+fired+song&sca_esv=6e2599d90674ab21&sxsrf=AE3TifNP-fzrscN_c0miO2amfzz22KjjRg%3A1752035216512&ei=kO9taOyCH9OJptQP8b_mwAw&ved=0ahUKEwjsitvl966OAxXThIkEHfGfGcgQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=when+will+jauron+get+fired+song&gs_lp=Egxnd3Mtd2l6LXNlcnAiH3doZW4gd2lsbCBqYXVyb24gZ2V0IGZpcmVkIHNvbmcyBxAhGKABGAoyBxAhGKABGAoyBxAhGKABGAoyBxAhGKABGAoyBxAhGKABGApIuR1QmAZY2xlwAXgBkAEAmAHIAqAB5AWqAQcxLjMuMC4xuAEDyAEA-AEBmAIGoAKUBsICChAAGLADGNYEGEfCAgUQIRirApgDAIgGAZAGCJIHBzEuNC4wLjGgB-EpsgcHMC40LjAuMbgHjQbCBwUyLTUuMcgHJQ&sclient=gws-wiz-serp#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:6e4c6428,vid:mmmh469rOtg,st:0
  11. Today
  12. My sleeper of the year is Buddy Nix in his living room watching games on his big screen TV from his La-Z-Boy recliner.
  13. I'm with Special K: Elijah Moore and Cole Bishop. I think Moore fills an important niche and will be one of our top 2 or 3 leading receivers. I'm not confident Bishop will be a stud, but I do think he'll crack the starting lineup this year. And I'll mention a position group: DL. They've been mediocre for a while. While I'm not predicting great things from them this year, I do think greatness (or, at least, very goodness) is a possibility.
  14. As our last president was fond of saying “come on, man”.
  15. Mechahitler has spoken. Gigajews beware.
  16. I'm going with Elijah Moore on Offense.....I don't think many are expecting a lot from him, but I think he puts it all together and makes the most of his opportunity of having the best QB in the league throwing it to him. On D, I am going with Cole Bishop to make a big jump in season 2, and really take hold of one of the starting Safety spots.
  17. Injuries most definitely aren't why he went from being dealt for a high second round pick in 2022 to being a street free agent reaching for a life-line in the span of about 15 months. Very little injury in his NFL history really. He was a head-case in 2022 but should have lost any benefit of the doubt when he ghosted the Bears in-season in 2023. That was crazy. Typically only see something like that when a player is about to appear in a string of arrest/lawsuit stories. The Dolphins gave him another shot and he just went thru the motions. Only months later the Bills pick him up and fans expect him to be someone entirely different.
  18. A few stories got me. One was the little sisters they found holding hands. Another was the guy walking along the river looking for his parents since they went missing. The kids get me tho. That is just sad.
  19. I can’t even link what Grok threatened to do to Minneapolis Civil Rights Advocate, Will Stancil, but if you dare… feel free to look it up.
  20. When Ketanji Brown Jackson is too stupid for even Sonya Sotomayor, well, that is saying something.
  21. Making light of the flood in Texas is pretty low, even for a piece of ***** like you.
  22. I'll go with Keon Coleman. He could have a good year and I think fans are pretty down on him. On defense I'll choose Taylor Rapp. I think he is a lot better than fans think. Many have been critical of his friendly fire, but he made a lot of key plays last year.
  23. I’m still holding out hope that Curtis Samuel will show out this year, provided he’s past his nagging injuries…he was so underwhelming there’s no where to go but up? And he’s still only 28 yrs old so burst should be there 🤷.
  24. McCartney 321 on Hulu is outstanding
  25. Poor girl had a bum ankle years ago and they made her do the one leg stand. This officer should have known that. Plus, she needed oxygen. Sad state of law enforcement. Common man.
