  1. Past hour
  2. I think so too, certainly wont be elite anyways
  3. Of course that's what you thought, because that's how the media spin it. The full comments tell a completely different story. "Well look, we’re concerned about any time nuclear powers collide and have a major conflict. What we’ve said, what Secretary Rubio has said, and certainly what the President has said is, we want this thing to deescalate as quickly as possible," Vance told Fox News’ Martha McCallum on "The Story" Thursday. "We can’t control these countries though, fundamentally, India has its gripes with Pakistan. Pakistan has responded to India. What we can do is encourage these folks to deescalate a little bit, but we're not going to get involved in the middle of a war that's fundamentally none of our business and has nothing to do with America's ability to control it."
  4. That's it, that's his nickname. So let it be written, so let it be done.
  5. more trump and miller crapping on the Constitution and rights. These rights go back to the Magna Carta. F'in barbarians with no respect for American history. https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/09/trump-deportation-habeas-corpus-miller.html
  6. I don’t think his size matters really. If he’s staying on the lighter side perhaps that means he’s emphasizing the receiving portion of his game. Didn’t lamar jackson and tua do this last year?
  7. we should limit ourselves to one retread pass rusher per year
  8. JD Williams😳
  9. Ask me after week 8
  10. The Bears are due lol
  11. You are misreading his comments, Mediating by the US is NOT the same as picking sides, sending billions, or sending equipment. .
  12. It was a move worthy of the Bills ex-GM/evil genius Russ Brandon, made to put butts in the seats and the suites with little regard of its impact on the team on the field. Hunter is a great talent, but the draft capital the Jags gave up to get him should only be spent on a franchise QB prospect, not a WR or a WR/part-time CB prospect.
  13. Yes but you make year 3 a largely unguaranteed big number... like $19m plus that he is never going to play on. If he is still a stud at that point you extend him.and lower that number. If he is washed you cut him. I had a model worked out the other day where you do a 3yr $45m extension and his salary cap numbers are basically: 25 - 5m 26 - 9m 27 - 13.5m Then 28 was a big number but it isn't real money. I did have one void year but not a ton in it. Like $4m. I think I had him cuttable for like $7m in dead cap after the 2027 season. If I get time this weekend I'll dig my workings out and post it. I thought it had wins for him and his agent (let them claim they got the number they wanted) and wins for the Bills.
  14. Not sure how genuine it is. Vance showed him up at the Zelensky debacle. Guys at that level just don’t go “no problem” and forget about it. Rubio is more concise, clear and polished imo and been working towards this moment. Vance just showed up and definitely needs to work on his craft.
  15. Kid looks great!
  16. Dion has been eating his lunch. Literally, that is.
  17. I hadn't seen this one come up in this thread. It's from 2002. If that isn't Biden at around age 60 or younger, that's his twin.
  18. Nope. You normally need two mini reloads during a 12-15 year run with a HOF guy. Last year was one of ours and we made the title game. The next 3 or 4 seasons the window is wide open.
  19. I read an article that says he's roomies with Kincaid
  20. Why do we need his cap number in 2025 to drop? FA is basically over. If his cap number drops in 2025, where does that go? To 2026 and beyondz Didn’t you argue we dropped Bernard’s cap number too until I showed you that wasn’t true and also we are paying him exactly what he signed for cap and all? Also, why so hostile?
  21. This signing is the reason for so many "I feel we make the Superbowl this year" posts lately.
  22. thought jdv said it wasn't our problem
  23. Last year's secondary play was mediocre at best, and McDermott likely has some responsibility for it. Hamlin playing back in the end zone, Bishop failing to contribute, Douglas fading, Elam not ready at all despite three years of development, Rapp no more than adequate... You can make excuses for McDermott all day long, some quite valid. But how long are we going to give him credit for being a genius with the secondary because of Poyer and Hyde? Could it be that Poyer and Hyde were just ready to come on when they did? Anyway, if he can't develop the players he has now, the benefit of the doubt stops and the doubt begins. EDIT: Sorry mods: Didn't mean to divert the subject of the thread. Best-case scenario for Casey Rogers is the practice squad, which is a great best case with the current depth at the position.
  24. Have to. Teams with HOF quarterbacks in their prime do not have rebuilding years. It’s just not acceptable.
  25. It’s interesting watching the Vance/Rubio dynamic in this Administration. They seem to genuinely get along, while also - very clearly - being the two front runners to succeed Trump. Good to see them get this locked down. Last thing the world needs is India/Pakistan poppin off.. hopefully this lasts.
