You can make excuses for McDermott all day long, some quite valid. But how long are we going to give him credit for being a genius with the secondary because of Poyer and Hyde? It’s interesting watching the Vance/Rubio dynamic in this Administration. They seem to genuinely get along, while also - very clearly - being the two front runners to succeed Trump.
