1.5 sacks. I noticed him shutdown the 2 point conversion in the Saints game and he's set the edge pretty well. Better than Bosa at least. -
Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF

Those Falcons uniforms remind me of the ones from the 80's. I got to watch the first half of the 1983 game of Bills verse Falcons in one of the dugouts at the old Fulton County Stadium. My grandfather was for the Bills in the 70's and 80's and we would get sideline passes when the Bills came to Atl. I had no clue how special a treat that was as a kid. -
Now you've got me thinking @Buffalo716 so a couple other names to add on - Robert Saleh and I imagine a lot of people are rolling their eyes because of how his stint with the Jets went, but was that him or was that abysmal ownership and QB play? If nothing else he always had his defense playing at a top tier level and even showed an aptitude for slowing down Josh Allen which means he can slow down anyone. San Francisco's defense has played very well this year despite being banged up. If it were Saleh the OC pick would have to be right, and I'd again lean towards Mike McDaniel who I think works much better as a coordinator than as a head coach. And just to throw out one name that isn't a retread, I'd look for the young offensive upstart coach and the best name available that fits the description would be Klint Kubiak. He had the Saints offense rolling last year until Carr's career ending injury and now he has Sam Darnold playing the best football of his career. If I was going to rank the options I've laid out: 1) Stefanski (if he gets fired) 2) Flores 3) Saleh 4) Kubiak 5) Kingsbury/Joseph So now you know I'm not just blowing smoke when I talk about replacing McDermott. There are realistic options out there and I don't think the floor could really be much lower as long as Allen is in his prime. We've got maybe 5 years before his physical abilities start to really decline and it's going to be a real shame if we waste all of them because we're trigger shy.

Bad Bunny will be the Super Bowl halftime act

It doesn’t matter if it’s in English or Spanish, I can’t understand what most of the recent halftime entertainers are singing anyways. It’s more about the dancing and beat than the lyrics. -
I think Keon has been battling thru the groin still, as is Shakir with his high ankle to some degree. Keon stats reflect an ascending player, keeping in mind he is super young still. Obviously has maturity issues, which hopefully improve. I also think hes been "held" ALOT. Its not getting called, so maybe there's something he can do differently, but every game this year its occurred multiple times. He and Josh are not fully on same page yet with back shoulder throws. He was on the 2nd one, but Josh put that first one in a horrible spot (might be Keon to blame as well for not getting to his spot quick enough). He needs to use his physicality more , so much potential there, its been inconsistent. Thats his path to success. I'd also like to see him out of the slot more , but mostly Kincaid filling that big slot now. I'd also like to see Keon on downfield crossers. We dont run enough of these route combos. And sending Keon to the post. Have we ran any post patterns this year, by the way? Bradys route combos are not great IMO

Hoarding them all so we can’t have one that can play and not cripple his own teammates

Interesting trade for sure. Baltimore pass rush is lacking as is yet they go and get another safety.

Beans and Sean - Should we miss the SB again
CNYfan replied to Cubanmist 1's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have, and am, a Coach Sean supporter. Unfortunately from what I have seen this year I believe that he has lost the narrative. The "Process" was discipline, 1/11, be the best version of yourself. But this team is sloppy, undisciplined out of position, poor tackles and underperformed. I am concerned, and I am concerned with our QB as well -
yep. was always a "potential" guy.

Giant facts. Just wait till Hailey sees it. Allen goes to LA with a seasoned mcvay and wins 2 -
I remember Oweh had ridiculous athletic traits and if I was going DE in round 1 I think I would’ve gambled on him over Rousseau. Glad to be wrong here. Both need to be better pass rushers though.

Want someone different? Here's who to write/call. They are the ones deciding on who does the halftime show, with the NFL's approval. Home - ROC NATION -
Week 5 of the season, no one. I think you need to see the landscape in a few months. in recent years I’ve said I’d make the move for Payton or harbaugh. I don’t know how I feel about the idea of Brady, as I think this far into the current regime you may not want ghosts lingering in the halls. Though he’s the type of guy I’d be eager to see. I’m not huge on kingsbury but do have some of that “what, will he only win 11-12 games?” sentiment about him. As long as Josh is upright we aren’t going 6-11 or anything. Monken kind of similar in my thoughts, though very different profiles between these two. call me wild but even the kubiak brothers could be an interesting hc/oc pair the thing is I don’t know any of that makes us better but I really don’t think it makes us worse and at some point we have to see if a move makes us better Seems we aren’t far off i avoided the DC options, but honestly if we might be rounding the post on Allen’s career, I’m becoming less worried about successful OCs being poached if we hire a defensive guy with a great OC penciled in. Only so many years left

I was kidding. You asked a question that can’t be answered in the middle of a season. For me, I just want to be free’d of this defensive nightmare so give me any offensive minded guy and then choose a new defense. If that defense stinks, get another one. See, we don’t have that freedom with McD and it’s been absolute torture for almost a decade.

McDermott is running the show. Always has. He chose Beane as his GM and is Terry’s son now.

This right here. Bookmark it. Only slim chance we have to get them out of town is if Josh Allen goes to Terry himself, and newsflash, he won’t. Beane and McDermott are here for the rest of Josh’s career.
