  2. while I totally agree with the assessment of where we are now the people who keep saying "the defense has never been good" and "it's the same every year" really do have short memories. Leslie Frazier had three top 3 ranked defenses and one other top 10 defense in six seasons here. They are consistently top 10 in the league in takeaways (ever season of McDermott) and under Frazier they were top ten on 3rd down 5 out of 6 years too. Sure, the defense never dominated in the playoffs, that is undeniable. But the Bills had a number of really good defenses under Leslie and I think fans have simply forgotten how good we had it. The current defense is a mess. We are already blitzing way more than normal. After week 3 we were second in the league for blitz %. It doesn't look pretty. We should be blitzing way less.
  3. He doesn't have the leg for Buffalo. Very shaky beyond 50.
  4. Bring back Paul Maguire. He's 87 but he can still punt.
  5. Are you sure? I thought Puerto Rico was a part of the EU.
  6. Better cancel your Internet subscription as well. A lot of bad stuff out there you want no part off. You can get it again when the government has cleaned it up and made sure there is no bad information avaliable. Some nations actually already provide their citizens with this great service. So moving abroad is another option. I will miss you all.
  7. Prater missed 1 kick this season and if you watch the replay, looks like it was blocked. Maybe the trajectory was low, but with the change on direction it looked blocked. He consistently splits the uprights. Consistently hits it where he wants it in the landing zone. For those who fear what happens in cold weather? Dude used to play in Denver where it snows heavily in October. Prater continues, Bass can sit his …!

  9. Are you by any chance female? And if so, what section do you sit in?
  10. Where would Shedeur be without his father and mother to promote his dubious career?
  11. It seems Josh is getting the ball out more on time this year which is limiting Coleman's chunk play opportunities in scramble drill situations. Keon has definitely taken a step this season, but it won't be reflected in his YPR numbers.
  12. That was true as recently as a year or two ago; now the preseason games are just glorified tryout camps. First-teamers used to get a sniff of the field in preseason but now they don't get even that.
  13. Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens.
  14. What's exciting is his catch% is way up from 50% last year to 77% this year.
  15. It's a candidate for an upset, for sure. Divisional game against a team that has bottled up the Bills offense better than anyone else since the start of 2024. I can see meathead Vrabel's squad coming in here aggressive and physical, on both sides of the ball. We get every team's best shot, and we'll definitely get theirs. I don't expect the Bills coaches to unveil some uniquely brilliant gameplan designed to counter whatever they expect to see out of New England on either side of the ball; instead I expect them to double-down on who and what they want to be, with minor wrinkles for New England. If Cook is bottled up early and often, which will happen eventually, can the Bills win in other ways? Will they adjust their approach early enough?
  16. Oops. The doc must then have been talking about the Miami stadium. That's what I get for ff through the video.
  17. If he comes back and we cut Prater...and Bass misses just ONE kick that's makeable....we suddenly have a kicker problem. With Prater, I feel confident in every kick. That's way more than I can say now about Bass (who I actually would get nervous for on crucial EXTRA POINTS FFS!)
  18. How dare you bring facts to a good McD rant. What were you thinking?
  19. Neither? I’d try out Blankenship.
  20. Do normal people who don’t rely on federal benefits even care? I’ve never been able to find a poll of people who actually worry about these things when they come up.
  21. This might be one of the 2 or 3 games ,Bills lose this season.
  22. Sounds like a couple of crooks to me.
  23. He gets fired this offseason if our defense is terrible in the playoffs again.
  24. I think McDermott is willing to give up rushing yards between the twenties.. because his yards per carry against goes down the closer you get to the goal line If you have a nine Play 65 yd drive.. and it gashes you on the run.. but it ends in a field goal That's a win for McDermott.. and it is a win for our defense.. field goals don't win games McDermott runs a lightbox which dares you to run.. because it is tough to consistently run for 60 minutes.. we've always talked about being behind the curve in the NFL.. like we're never trendsetters McDermott was the trendsetter to running nickel 75% of the time... We're allowing 22 points per game and getting healthier The Ravens defense is stuffed with all pros and pro bowlers and it's getting gashed
  25. Oh, this won’t be any great defense . You can bet on that. Still, don’t you always need to outscore your opponent to win ?
