  1. Past hour
  2. Chris Olave sounds like he's out. But you never know if that's posturing for better compensation. But with the news that he's been talking about an extension with him, I tend to feel that's true. The interesting part of this to me is that they haven't said Rashid Shaheed is off the table. To me, I've been all in on the idea of making a deal with the Saints. If you can't pry Olave free, pivot to Shaheed. His speed, separation, and deep threat prowess would provide just what we need to get people from crowding the line and shutting us down. I'd be more in on Shaheed than a lot of the other options people are pivoting to in this post.
  3. Tons of Bills fans here, going to be a fun one if they can get it going.
  4. If not for the Hochuli ref crew and Rousseau being Offside, we're likely undefeated and not worried about tomorrow at all. I think the team comes out tomorrow and reminds us that they're still kings of the division and a legit SB contender.
  5. The mental part is always tough to judge. I don't follow college football - does he have a history of being disinterested? My guess is that if he did, he would not have gone in the mid first round. As you noted, the talent is undeniable and he has proven he can play at the NFL level. I am sure the correct suitors for the trade are looking into what caused him to regress this year. If the proverbial change of scenery is all he needs, then this is the perfect time to buy (low). Coleman is not a problem child. He just hasn't consistently produced. But, I wouldn't give up on him just yet.
  6. 100% Forcing fumbles is a skill Recovering them is luck
  7. We knew last year was one of those great seasons when the D took the ball away and the O did not give the ball away. It’s a market correction. You see it all the time in the NFL with various things. Last year KC was like 11-0 in one score games. This year they are 0-3. Bottom line, if the Bills can eliminate their own turnovers and penalties they can still win plenty without forcing opponents turnovers.
  8. Stetson for the game or just stick with the regular ball cap?
  9. Punching at footballs is a fine approach to a turnover seeking defense ( along with sound tackling of course). What isn’t sustainable with turnovers is the fair amount of luck involved recovering them. The ball takes funny bounces, and even when doing the correct thing -(ie falling on the ball vs trying to pick it up) it still goes the other way sometimes. This has happened many times already this year. INTs have been dropped. The opportunities have been there, and they usually are. The luck just dries up at times.
  10. No, but we have Allen.
  11. Also, Shaq Thompson dropped a sure pick-six towards the end of the game.....those two plays go the other way and maybe the Bills win, and there would be a lot less hand-wringing going on around here......
  12. I think for this game the five core skill position players will be Hawes as TE 1, Anderson as TE2, Shakir, Coleman/Samuel and Cook. The 6 OL package returns. With all the cage rushes and blitzers coming we need to keep Allen upright and utilise Cook and Davis to run with a maximum of 4 guys actually running routes.
  13. Bills 24 Panthers 23 It's not pretty but Bills eke out a win.
  14. The young man definitely has some juice about him. hope to see some of that soon but not expecting too much tomorrow.
  15. Not going to happen but Coleman and a 3rd seems like fair compensation if they are willing to part with him. We each get rid of a problem child.
  16. I think (barring injury to himself or another CB) around 10 snaps. 1-2 series type deal.
  17. Joe Brady doesn’t exactly have a great record with top receivers either… The last half of 2023 with Stefon Diggs, 2024 with Amari Cooper and whatever we have this year.
  18. I feel a little better about the Chiefs next week. A very little bit of little but little none the less. Remember Larry Little? He was BIG!
  19. What about and INT, a Forced Fumble, and a Fumble Recovery for a TD, no PDs??
  20. I think maybe 40 percent of snaps. Get him some NFL reps getting ready for the Chefs
  21. Rapp and Tre out for Max and Hancock is a lot of rookies but a lot of speed and athleticism in the back end. Maybe we can play man and use our suddenly kinda deep and talented front to creat pressure
  22. That's not good enough. I'd expect that out of 6th round pick. A first round pick better put up 2 ints 4 PD and 1 TD
