90% is usually the Not Josh and whoever caught his passes, everyone else didn't do enough if we don't get multiple sacks/catches/blocks per play

9/7/25 Post Game Thread - Bills vs Ravens SNF

If anyone is actually getting upset about this, grow up. It was tongue in cheek, not a major attack on the fanbase. -
I actually didn’t think our pass rush was too bad at all. Lamar gonna Lamar. Should have had a couple more sacks than they did (and they would have against almost any other QB!)
-
Something needs to happen, but you know McDemott wont do it. They pushed Bishop stupid hard this pre season, they are going to die on that hill with him. The announcers said last night, that although Hamlin is slower, he made big tackles on Henry in the playoffs, Something that was missing last night

I also think everyone is overlooking how important that field goal at the end of the half turned out to be. Four plays, 48 yards in 31 seconds was the shot I needed heading into halftime and a vision of what was to come in the fourth quarter. But everyone is different.

As if anyone cares what I think LOL... but gonna write it anyways The Bad Defense of course, as a unit they do not look cohesive nor have I seen improvement they continue to be a concern Rarely saw DL dominating OL, linebackers hung out to dry Milano seems ineffective Pass Rush was mediocre, not getting Lamar for the sack on the 15 was honestly disturbing Safeties are a problem, Bishop looks lost, Rapp will hit you but is really poor in coverage Coaching, not challenging the miss spot on Allen's 1st down, they just gotta get that Samuel again inactive, this guy is a waste of money and roster space but we are stuck with him The Jacka$$ fan that was hitting players and Lamar pushing back... just no... the whole thing no... The Good Holy sh#t we won that game, I don't even know how that happened... The resilience of this team is amazing... like literally at least 25 other teams in this league woulda packed it in Josh is Josh and its good to have Josh. Mrs. Allen, thanks for sharing Keon looks like he has made great strides and at least for this game looked like a true 1 OL was heroic in pass protection those guys just get it done saw some sparks from Kincaid... not consistent but he made some solid catches I hope he trends up James Cook not a stellar consistent game but he made some big plays that highlighted why we paid him Did I mention Keon? I actually like the more aggressive defensive stance, more pressure, more stacking to stop the run... not over all effective but maybe it works itself out Yes the Defense was bad... but we scored 41 points on their defense... I imagine the Ravens fans are saying the same thing ... Maybe we shouldnt panic, maybe those were just two epic offenses that couldnt be contained. Lets move on to the Jets and see what happens Ed Oliver big time highlight reel game for him... got pushed a bit inside but he found a way to make some really big plays lets hope this continues Josh Palmer looks like he just might fit in Not Joe Brady's best game, but he did a good job (along with the OL) to not exposing Allen to big hits... offense really looked like a machine when it counted Bottom line, I went from a railing vitriolic lunatic to disbelieve in minutes.. I am still in shock... as can I imagine are the Ravens... We are 1-0 stole the head to head tie breaker from them, our entire division lost, as did he Chiefs... and the Texans cant really think of a much better outcome to week 11 than this... long season, I am dragging a$$ today lol but nicely done lets go beat the Jets and knock them in a hole... damn... we actually won that game... holy crap....

Whatever their food costs are which is pretty sizable although still probably less then a million

In real time, Bernard was the worst player on the field most of the game. He's played well in the past so we can hope he turns it around. DQ is absolutely useless. He's just collecting a paycheck. Carter sucking and then getting injured means we are stuck with DQ. Hopefully in a few weeks Walker is starting.

All the Bills fans who STAYED at the stadium the WHOLE game OR those who didn't turn off the TV. With Josh anything is possible, final opening night game, and the game was never fully out of reach even if it was small % chance. If you stayed through you got to see magic you dream of as a fan.

One thing to keep in mind - the K ball rule has changed this season. You can now prep the balls before the day of the game - this is going to significantly help kickers get balls that will travel longer distances. This change will help an older guy like Prater maintain his ability to kick longer field goals.

Whats the cap hit on that ?

Also wanted to point out something on the series where Allen slid. I didn’t realize that on a slide, the spot is where the ball is located when the first body part touches the ground. This would’ve put Allen a full yard passed the line to gain. Also, the Bills got called for holding afterwards going from what *should’ve been a first down* and putting them at 3rd & 11 leading to a sack then a punt on 4th down. They got robbed out of possession at midfield.

Just the coaches, and better Drafting. ALLEN is the reason we are where we are. -
Poyer started as a corner hyde byrd troy Vincent I’m not saying all the best S were CBs but it seems like transition that can be made pretty easily.

Im not a fan of this shame rhetoric he is throwing down. If that is what it is. I don't need the lecture so I don't think he is talking to me specifically though. and a lot of people did leave yeah I see his point it still read my previous post Josh. m -
Two live real Buffalo's is my suggestion
-
Convince Baltimore that Kyle Hamilton stinks and they should trade him to Buffalo.
-
It’s a game of inch.
-
They have played so little together--the injuries in pre season really hut yesterday, especially against an offense like the Ravens'. An interception or two against Fields next week should move them forward, though Fields never looked so good as he did yesterday. He looked like a legitimate starting caliber NFL QB for the first time (that I have seen him play).

Offensive line/offense really weren’t that bad considering the opponent even before the Oliver fumble recovery. that was on track to be the best offensive performance against Baltimore we’ve ever had even if the 4th quarter was a little more realistic lol. Last season we were held under 300 yards both times (under 250 even the first time), 2022 was a similar but lesser game where the ravens turning it over late opened the door and we did all our damage down the stretch, 2021 afc divisional we were held under 250 yards again, 2019 we almost got held under 200 yards, 2018 we almost got held under 150 yards 😂 but that was Nate peterman days. They have bottled up the downfield passing game with pretty much any combination of WRs we’ve ever had -
The rush to the line on short yardages and either sneak or hand off doesn't work in the NFL like it would in high school. We got burned a few times on it last night. They (Brady) need to get a little more creative.
