  2. The water table somewhere in this country was lowered, however slightly, by this specific LLM query and response.
  3. The season is teetering… let Josh and Cook rip and GET AFTER IT, boys. LET’S GO BUF-FALO
  4. Happy All Hallows Eve! 🎃 👻 Ok, we’ve wept, grumbled and yelled enough. The frightful 2 terrible performances and a Bye week to stew on ithem are behind us. We now find ourselves looking up at NE* in the Division while stumbling hard in other rankings the League uses to tell the current story. Inept play on Offense & Defense and a week off from competing finds us relegated to also-rans and out of the spotlight. But this changes this afternoon with yet another inter-Conference road game in North Carolina vs the Panthers. It’s an opportunity to show we’re still alive and need to be feared as a perennial Playoff Power. Other big changes include roster additions and probable position options. Ogunjobi & Hoeght -our 2 biggest FA signings are finally eligible to play and are expected to add significant upgrades to the DL. Not a minute too soon as we’re currently ranked DEAD LAST vs the run and the Panthers are ranked 3rd in rushing! The pairings of Oliver & Hoeght along with Ungujobi is now a formidable DT room. D. Jones is in the proverbial week to week.. 1st round pick Max Hairston is back practicing and looks pretty well healed from his preseason knee injury. How quickly he gets comfortable will determine when he gets playing time with the 1’s. Milano is still not practicing and I fear it’s time to write his career epitaph. Poyer has ascended to starter and this will continue. For all his disappearing skills, he’s still better than Rapp (now on Ir) & Bishop. The BIG news is Maxwell Hairston has been activated. We might as well start him! Better pass rush, better run Defense and a DB with world class speed? Whats not to love? Our OL should be rested and hopefully refocused. 30 penalties in 3 weeks, missed blocks, sacks and turnovers have derailed us the previous 2 games. They ARE better than this and we need to see a return to what they’re capable of! Utilizing Cook more in the 4th quarter and in pass routes hasn’t been used when it absolutely should be. He’s a game-breaker, but not if he’s on the sideline.. Kincaid should be back, which is welcome news! His absence was startling! Some guy named Milano may play as well.. As for QB1, when Gramma calls, GITERDONE! Our opponent today, the Carolina Panthers, are another team trying to escape from the perennial outhouse. They’re 4-3 now and have won their last 3, so they’re no pushover. It’s a relatively nearby away game and many Buffalo transplants have relocated to the area. Plus, the Mafia has been known to take over their stadium in the past. Expect nothing else today. Their QB Bryce Young, who’s been the catalyst of their resurgence, suffered the dreaded high ankle sprain last week and expected to be sidelined. This brings in a ‘Buffalo hero’ Andy Dalton to try to keep their winning streak alive. Biggest key to this game is the Panther run game. It’s VERY good as is their OL! In contrast, our run Defense is threatening to set League records for futility averaging nearly SIX YARDS PER CARRY! So, Somethings gotta change here for the Bills to get off the shnide! 🤦‍♂️Panthers are overall a middling team with key stats showing they’re around 22nd overall ranking. Oddly enough today’s game is their final AFCE game and have beaten all our Division to date. What that means is no one knows how good they really are in their Division nor Conference as slapping our hapless Division around isn’t really much of a measuring stick.. So snap up your chinstraps, take a strong sniff of smelling salts and let’s get after it today! Given our recent level of play, we need to raise the bar NOW! “We’re at the crossroads.. If we DIE, we die together.. You can get it done. What’s more, YA GOTTA geti it done!” -Lou Saban We GOT THIS! GO BILLS! Joe Marino chimes in
  5. People like cam lewis because he's a hometown guy, but if hes a starter you can pretty much stick a fork in this defense
  6. Yeah, I really hope I’m wrong, but I think McD’s streak of post-bye week wins ends. There are too many deficiencies with this Bills team. Playing a team playing well on the road, that also has a productive running game, will be difficult to overcome.
  7. Today
  8. @bobobonators..." yes I can and don't call me Shirley".
  9. Soon as I saw he was playing i thought loss. Sabres were giving up about 2.5 goals a game, he shows up and boom 4.
  10. And that was just this season.
  11. I've said it a million times, but I'm no longer stingy about trading away 1st or 2nd round picks. Given what this team has spent them on, I'd rather them trade for a player that has shown they can be good in this league rather than roll the dice on whoever Beane & McDermott use the picks on. Who's the only player we've drafted in the first 2 rounds that would likely get back equal draft value for where they were taken is James Cook. I'm sure some team would think Cook is worth a 2nd rounder. Would anyone give up a 1st for Groot? We got back 6th & 7th round picks for Elam & Basham, so that's a no for them. Nobody would give up a 2nd for Cole Bishop, nor would Kincaid command a 1st. Our draft picks won't be more valuable than they are BEFORE we use them. Might as well use them in a trade & try to actually win a Super Bowl this year instead of hoping we'll get there in a few more drafts.
  12. This doesn’t fully surprise me after watching their last few games. Something is (again) off there. Lawrence is obviously a weirdo, he and Coen possibly hate each other, but regardless, BJT seems to be an odd fit in the new offense. Coen doesn’t seem to feature him, and he’s dropping balls and looking totally out of sync. It’s weird. Last year he played like a vet and this year he looks like a rookie. Still would be insane of them to trade him but if the door is open at all, Beane needs to bust it down.
  13. Or if he could identify Carolina if shown a map of the US... Considering the rate at which Keon's synapses fire, it might take him a few weeks before he realizes he has a new teammate. A bildo? Maybe you're underrating Mac Jones? There's something to this... it took Tremaine 4 years, until he was 19 years old, before he became assignment-sound.
  14. I'd like to assume sarcasm here, but it's difficult to tell where you're coming from in an effort to throw shade on Beane (and Wilson?). Other than the major injury last season (your "injury prone" label), Wilson is kind of big or at least plenty big enough (so not "small") by modern LB standards, and he's on a 2nd deal already (so not at all "cheap").
  15. How'd they do in the game that mattered? How about the drive that mattered? No actually it wasn't good enough.
  16. Don’t tell that to me. You should be telling that to the thousands of business owners who do the exploitation and are getting rich from it.
  17. You didn't really have to though. Where do they keep the trophy for the winning percentage? Can I see it on the new $35 tour?
  18. Bishop- dude misses too many tackles and gets lost in space. Otherwise, he's fine.
  19. If Andy Dalton lights this D up, McD himself best suit up at had time because his days as a coach are numbered.
  20. Oh man looks like he's going through some tough stuff, he not only has some nagging injuries but he lost his close friend Kyren Lacy to suicide, looks like he and Thomas were very close, even trainined together 2 weeks before he passed away. I remember when Marcell Dareus lost his brother and was never the same afterwards, you just never know how trauma is going to affect someone. Here is the interview with Brian Thomas Jr on the loss of Lacy, you can just feel the pain. Get well young sir. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/-Bg_f6o6wvk
  21. 4 games of 30 points is nothing to sneeze at. We’ve gotten so used to winning big, we fail to recognize that most of the leagues offenses suck
  22. THIS! This current Buffalo offense has been a run-first offense with Joe Brady calling more run plays than pass plays. Brian Daboll is no longer the OC, and we all saw what Stephon Diggs looked like after Brady took over from Dorsey. I, for one, am not convinced that this Buffalo OC would even make good use of this WR. Clearly, Keon Coleman (35) is Josh Allen's favorite target, and right behind him is Shakir (34), with Kincade in third at 24 targets and Palmer at 20 targets. In Jacksonville, Brian Thomas Jr leads that team in targets with 55, 27 receptions for 365 yards, 1 TD. With a catch percentage of 49.1. In this recent Jags game, BTJ was injured while grabbing his shoulder. Same shoulder he injured in college. Injury or mental case? "Among all players with at least 50 targets this season, Thomas' 41.8 percent success rate and 49.1 percent catch rate are the second-worst marks in the NFL. Jerry Jeudy is the only player behind him at 32.7 percent in success rate and a 42.3 percent catch rate (22 receptions on 52 targets). One of the big problems for Thomas has been catching the ball. He has been credited with an NFL-high nine drops on 55 targets this season." Thomas' struggles are partly on him, as he has struggled to make routine catches. Anyway, the Jags are looking to bolster their secondary as they are #26 in passing attempts, 27th in passing yards, 28th in passing TDs, and were just beaten by the Rams 35-7 with Matt Stafford throwing 5 TDs and the Jags QB Lawrence sacked 7x. Jacksonville is 4-3 at the bye.
