  2. Summers with some left on left(er) crime. Delightful!
  3. Leave to Houston to screw everything up. I would have thought this would be an idiot move the Browns would have made.
  4. lol point to anyone ever who used “a minute” to mean “3 years” keep digging! not sure what the rest of your gibberish means there…
  5. I'm pretty sure the goal of any professional sports franchise is win championships sustainability and return on investment The pegulas are doing nothing groundbreaking there
  6. I think Rage was legit, a real anti-establishment stick-it-to-the-man band striking back against the corporate industrial complex. When Tom Morello plays with Springsteen, word is that he's "quite uncomfortable" with dynamic ticket pricing as offered by Ticketmaster and made his feelings known backstage by leaving a post-it note in Bruce's dressing room at the Honda Center in Anaheim. When he orders up a Lyft or Uber ride on his Apple iPhone, he won't even get into a Honda due to the carbon footprint of the manufacturer. At Coachella brought to you by Heineken™, he refuses to drink the free brew offered instead preferring to have his drink of choice shipped by UPS/Fedex and stored in a custom Rage Against the Machine™ Yeti™ cooler. He's also a committed activist, haven spoken out about the dangers of climate change whenever he embarks on a national/international tour to play in front of thousands who travel long distances to come see him. Unconfirmed rumor: he doesn't even use the heater on his swimming pool at his 2700 sf LA home unless it's super chilly out.
  7. Maybe. But then why aren’t the 40 something’s ever voting socialist? They’re more broke than these kids that don’t have kids or a mortgage and quite frankly - at least this group that votes Democrat - isn’t really interested in a family first. They also didn’t grow up knowing the Cold War. They never learned about socialism as a negative in the schools where they were absolutely indoctrinated. The women want to vote abortion above everything else. Then their boyfriends have to vote the same way. Fight the patriarchy and all that. The problem in this country is the matriarchy. White liberal women - in positions of power across all academia - liberal women most men in this country have ever known throughout their school years from K-12 all vote on emotion and feelings first. There is nothing they share in common with the American Dream. They don’t think this country was ever great. You want proof? They can’t even say we’re great:
  8. That slide was obtained and verified by The Athletic. See for yourself:
  9. Average number of children per Mamdani voter: 0.0008
  10. Yeah, I stated it's a sad story. Or perhaps the better way of saying it is that it's unfortunate. And rather than arguing the differences between a green card and a visa, the point is that both come with requirements while in America. Thanks for acknowledging that he is the one responsible for meeting those requirements. Like so many issues, this one comes down to (1) changing the laws or (2) ignoring the laws.
  11. His playoff record since his Superbowl win. Over 15 years ago. And I know he got a particularly rough call in a Championship game, but it is what it is. Do. And at 0-5 maybe I will feel differently. But I honestly do not see it that way you do right now.
  12. Simple cure for most that ills baseball: Make the strike zone a circle that fits INSIDE the current box. It's called a strike zone because that's the zone where the ball is supposed to be easy to strike with the bat. That's not the case with those corners and to add insult to injury all these "pitchers" gotta' do is hit the tiniest edge of the box for it to be considered "IN" the strike zone. If you think the hitting sucks now wait until they automate the zone next season and pitchers are allowed to just nail that up and inside pitch that is 99% unhittable but still considered a strike. And that's inside the box. The reality is that zone is WAY bigger than the box........it's the box plus a line of baseballs all around it. A good pitcher really never has to throw a hittable pitch. And if you can run 5 relievers out there every game they never get fatigued regardless of how hard they throw. The ball is round, the bat is a cylindrical........make the zone a circle. Watch the mph of pitches drop and the number of ridiculous breaking balls decline and watch batting averages return to where they were and A LOT more action. And I will say "most" that ills baseball and not "all" because one problem baseball will always have is that you can't score on defense. It's the only one of the 4 major sports where you know for a fact you can tune out for 10 minute intervals and not miss your team scoring. I can usually watch a movie during a baseball game by just not watching my team pitch.
  13. So many great memories and black outs.
  14. There is a limit to how much time most people want to pass. It’s slow by nature, don’t let them drag it out.
  15. Knox has been many times and Kincaid was there last 2 years. Kincaid's focus is getting stronger, be healthy, etc so I am sure that is playing a big part in that and I think its probably best he doesn't go right now while he is working on strength and being at his best physically this year. Kincaid has put a ton of work in this offseason too already according to Beane, so probably best he stays fresh as he can be for camp.
  16. That's what pastime means! 😏 What else do Americans gotta do!😉
  17. Rookie: Landon Jackson. I know he's not a longshot to make the team, but he's going to be big in camp. Non-Rookie: Darrynton Evans. I'll say it again, he belongs on an NFL roster.
  18. ?? There's no visa status since he moved to this country at 7 years old. He was a former green card holder who made mistakes after his serving his country, served his time, lost his card in 2009 after crimes and a prison term, but was given deferred action status if he stayed clean and sober and checked in every year which he was doing for 14 years. A family to look after, and by all accounts recently ICE simply decided to end his deferred status and gave him the option to self deport before they kicked him out. Gotta meet that Trump quota for kicking criminals out. Traffic tickets, crimes no matter how long ago and even after fully prosecuted/resolved it doesn't matter. All ICE could do was cite his criminal past and ignore the fact that he's lived a clean life since then as they required him to do to maintain deferred status. Worked a job, paid his taxes, raised a family. Who's ultimately responsible for the situation? He is and he knows it. He blames no one, but was shocked yet resigned that he must go back to Korea and probably not be allowed to come back and visit his family again. Classy and an optimist who is grateful for the privileges he has enjoyed in his life here. But if you or anyone doesn't have the conscience to realize this is wrong and not what this country is about, that's on you. This NPR article does a better job of quoting his story then the rest: https://www.npr.org/2025/06/24/g-s1-74036/trump-ice-self-deportation-army-veteran-hawaii?utm_medium=social&utm_term=nprnews&utm_campaign=npr&utm_source=facebook.com
  19. If people don't like McD's in game management, clock management, etc they will hate Tomlins. I get he got the SB, which is great for any HC. But if I had to win a game today, I would rather have McD than Tomlin. Tomlin is like a long marriage where you may not fight a lot, but you also don't sleep together much anymore and its content, but boring. I agree with you on the call no doubt, I wasn't arguing the call wasn't bad...I was saying the call doesn't mean they go on to win the SB without it. Im no McD apologist, so I get it and he needs to win the big one, and his seat should be warm now heading into this season. But I do think you are greatly minimizing his impact here though and giving too much credit to Allen. He took a team with no culture that no one wanted to play for outside Buffalo in the midst of being torn down that traded its best players and snapped a 17 year drought that much more talented teams and more experienced HC's could not do. And people always talk about how Bengals had to help us get in, but the reality was them giving Peterman a chance to see if he had anything to offer a team looking to rebuild against the lowly Chargers kept them from getting in on their own accord. His coaching job that year was much better than he gets credit for by some people around here. And then he and his staff took the rawest QB in the draft and developed him into someone with GOAT potential by end of his career. I also think you are overlooking a lot of Seans poor playoff track record as well. I get it to a degree, he deserves more credibility too as someone who has won the big game, but outside the one SB run, his playoffs record isn't stellar and he didn't have Reid and Mahomes standing in his way to blame for it, or anything close to what that tandem is as a threat that McD and the rest of the AFC face year after year. Its all good - this is all subjective, so just take my commentary as a discussion and nothing more. To be clear, I give Sean the nod now - but I am not so sure I will if McD wins the SB this year and has the better resume.
  20. Put it this way, I was in a dart league on Thursday nights and we travelled all over from bar to bar weekly, so Fridays were automatically cancelled. It was easy for me to find a way to do as little as possible. My Market Research professor gave us the syllabus on day #1, said there was a midterm and a final, and it was all from the textbook. Other than the midterm and the final, the only times I saw him after that was at the campus bar. Throwing darts, in fact. Do you see a theme yet?
  21. Yeah the Harbo's love Roman. So I do blame them a little bit because he's their guy. I think Lamar's development as a passer is kind of overblown. 2019 Lamar was still an absolute force and that remains arguably the best year of his career. A TD% of 9 is just bonkers.
