  1. Past hour
  2. Not sure what you mean by spectacular... Beane is def not. But he builds the roster on depth and not stars. Whether a person thinks that is a fault or a virtue is up for the debate with the salary cap. He has absolutely derelected the WR position. And Boogie Basham says hi with all his meddling buddy draft picks on the DL. Personally, I wish we had a guy that pushed money to 2033 like Howie Roseman does. But that may be a Pegula restriction.
  3. I found out our 30th reunion was based on a bet. One of the "cool" girls bet some others in her click that she could get a reunion going just by mentioning it on FB. And it worked, I was actually instrumental in making it happen, though I did not find out about this bet till much later after it happened.
  4. Can you run a WR screen off this? Asking for Joe Brady
  5. Scoreboard on the North end almost done.
  6. I'm on record for years as stating the best way to get a good quarterback is to sit them as long as possible Literally even first round picks used to sit for a time Eli Manning was the number one pick and sat ... Philip Rivers was a top five pick and sat Again Sean didn't draft Peterman... But he did know that throwing Josh to the fire is never the correct call... We are lucky Josh survived it... That's more the history of the NFL No offense dude I'm just never going to have a conversation with you again if you think he'd be better off on other franchises lol Tom Brady would not have been Tom Brady on a 31 other teams Sorry man The history of the league says where you get drafted and the coach you have determines way more than your own individual talent.. because there's tons of players with talent out the Ying Yang who don't reach that level and it's because circumstances Tons of quarterbacks have had talent out the yin yang with good work ethics and flame out... Nobody is going to be successful on the Jets organization with how they've been structured for years They will ruin anybody
  7. This is not universally true for first round players. Although this past off season we saw a few guys on 4 year deals get re-upped after 3 years (Bernard, Cook, Benford, Shakir). When it comes to first rounders they’ve done this with Allen and Tre White after theee years, but most recently have waited until after the 4th year to extend Ed Oliver and Greg Rousseau.
  8. Surprised he didn't shatter his arms. The guy missed 4 games after getting his foot stepped on afterall
  9. Well at least his triceps are OK...
  10. Impressive. Mahomes did do this last year though. Beat Jackson on opening night. Beat Burrow a week later. Then beat Josh in AFCCG.
  11. Looks good. Suit up. Seriously, this is encouraging.
  12. One part that caught my attention (spoiler alert)................. talking about the sound of a herd of buffalo running around the stadium with the new audio system. THE TRAIN HORN IS DEAD!!!!
  13. This has been addressed over and over It's SUCH a retelling of history that the Bills 'groomed' Allen when what they actually did was throw him into an absolutely pitiful QB room and were forced to play him after McDermott's Peterman experiment predictably capsized. His weapons were even worse than they are today and the oline was poor as well He succeeded in spite of McDermott and Beane, not because of them. I actually think it's easier to argue he'd have had MORE success had he been drafted to another team
  14. LMAO, McDermott watched a QB competition between Allen and Nathan Peterman and thought Peterman won. If you want to say he groomed defensive backs like Christian Benford or Jordan Poyer, be my guest, but he is borderline clueless when it comes to QB utilization. He has been trying for years to turn Allen into Ryan Tannehill, despite tons of evidence that Allen is at his best when the leash is off and they finally stop fretting about turnovers or balance on offense or anything else other than scoring points.
  15. Crazy how quiet @leh-nerd skin-erd and @BillsFanNC are about all of this.
  16. Folks just don’t follow the NFL. NBA is different because imo HCing in that league is like 95% managing personalities. They think this regime is uniquely discriminated against with expectations. Like there hasn’t been unrest behind Harbaugh for the last 5 seasons for the Ravens not breaking through. They don’t think that’s the case because they don’t pay attention and exclusively follow the Bills. When you have a top tier elite QB, the expectation is more than “we won the division.”
  17. I’m curious as to how that relates to KBJ and her line of inquiry. Did she mention TRUMP or were you just unable to prevent yourself from doing so?
  18. Not to mention the fact that despite their fancy stats, Stafford and Maye don't have any "signature" performances that can compare with Josh's performances in the Ravens, Chiefs, Bucs, and Bengals games. If he has another "signature" performance vs the Pats, he should be the front-runner for MVP at that point. If they can give Cy Young Awards to Pitchers with 12-10 records, they can give an MVP to a player whose team makes the Playoffs but doesn't win their division.
  19. Seriously dude I respect you and your opinion I'm not one to discredit other people Yet it's a lazy take for anybody to think Josh Allen becomes Josh Allen on all 31 other franchises.. that's literally not how the NFL works .. not even specifically you but if anybody thinks Josh is the best player in the world getting drafted by 31 other teams that's not how football works It takes an organization to groom a quarterback.. John elway passed up on Josh not because he didn't think he had tons of talent.. but because he didn't think he would be able to harness all that talent and groom him Nobody's passing up Josh Allen Sean McDermott has been a very consistent presence in this organization... Bill belichick had a huge part in grooming Tom Brady and he's not in offensive guy But he is a professional coach Sean has helped groom Josh into the steady Superstar we see today 100%... Josh is not Josh on the Jets they would have ruined him like they have every quarterback over 60 years To think he would be this level on 31 other teams is not true and if it was he would have been the first overall pick guaranteed It could be true that he has tremendous talent and is the best player in the world but also that the bills helped groom him
  20. Most of the Patriots superbowl teams, they just didn't have the amount of injuries on defense, except that time they had Troy Brown playing defense
