  1. Past hour
  2. Totally fair argument from Stevie within the scope of that primary play example being broadly leveraged in the media. The really unfortunate part probably ended up being Coleman's admitted tardiness after knowing full well the spotlight is on him (externally for sure, but more importantly, internally). He just kept digging. And handed the hounds another bone to chew on.
  3. Any doesn’t mean every, no matter how hard you try to make it so. Coleman is hardly the first player, let alone the first wideout, to be late to or to miss a meeting. Diggs, for example, was chronically late, so much so he had a dedicated parking spot next to the door. Coleman’s on-field performance has been so abysmal that he didn’t get the Diggs treatment and was “outed” by the Bills for his immaturity. So I’d say he has some pretty big problems. I’ll add another nugget. I overhead, at the stadium on Sunday, a prominent member of the organization absolutely destroying Coleman. I wasn’t part of the conversation, but I heard it well, and I was taken aback by the blunt and critical tone. Lots of frustration with him.
  4. I don't even have an issue about him naming people of color. If that's how he lists it's fine. But at least be humble and not include yourself after being in the league for a cup of coffee. Also, the most offensive thing to me is that if he wanted to name all people of color....pick better ones. Dak over Jordan Love is an abomination. Heck Russ Wilson has a better career resume than Dak.
  5. Looked good. If Allen went to him and threw a good ball thats definitely a big play. He had a step. I dunno I trust it with the wind gusts. I dunno about the guy a couple posts above you saying he is not fast. He may not be Tyreek Hill but the dude is pretty fast.
  6. I know we have a thread on him but still I'm not sure we all truly appreciate the wrecking ball this dude is going to be for us. He will be our Chris jones when all is said and done.
  7. I agree with a lot of this. It requires a high level of execution and being on schedule. But I would disagree that Miami took anything away from us. All the short stuff was there, but Josh refused to take any of it.
  8. Exactly and Jordan Love is trash. Imagine what he would like with our WR corps. Of better yet Josh with his weapons. And can’t forget Kraft pre injury
  9. Holy crap, how did that G not push him when he was sideways!?!?
  10. The bad personnel decisions were Pete Carroll's. Since he left Schneider's built another Super Bowl contender. On the same day (March 13th) that Sam Darnold signed a free agent contract with Seattle for 3 years and $100 million, the Raiders and Carroll traded the 92nd pick overall for Geno Smith and signed him to a 2 years, $75 million contract. Now I know the jury's still out on Darnold, there are times over the last two years where he's looked elite and he would have cost the Raiders less than Geno did.
  11. that would be a hold call if it was on a FG attempt.
  12. “My god man do you see the number of likes this post has?! He has to go!”
  13. It’s both but man to have a guy like Johnson . He gets it
  14. PFF had him as the bills top defensive grade Sunday
  15. You left out their shortstop not having an Italian enough name.
  16. Not sure how anyone could have missed that one!!!
  17. They arent going to always be able to play like that and thats the entire point. Ive been saying it most of the season. Some teams will take away the run game and this short 2 yard passes junk. I guarantee you the Chiefs will take that away in the playoffs. Dink and Dunk ball control crap only works when you play perfect AND the defense can make stops. It doesn't work in close games or games you are behind in. Even Miami took that away. If we played this style last week, we never would have lost to Miami. We would have blown them out.
  18. But it shows the disrespect he has for Joshua Allen That he thinks he's better He's not better than any of the quarterbacks he listed
  19. https://www.si.com/college/oklahoma/football/sunday-offering-oklahoma-predicted-to-land-pair-of-major-2027-prospects-01ka7cgj3cew Looking to steal class of 27 edge and corner
  20. He was a stability hire to basically reset the organization. They have been a joke since Gruden. I’m sure they expected better play but this isn’t about this year or next year. It’s about becoming serious, even if they are bad and serious.
  21. That goes without saying and no one's disputing that.
  22. The fact that he’s not on the talk of a hot seat like some other first year coaches is maddening. I know he has a Super Bowl on his resume but he hand picked Geno, traded a relatively high pick for him and it’s not even averagely reasonable play they’ve received.
  23. Back to the allegations that Coleman doesn't give full effort on some plays... as I've said before, if you watch the All-22 even occasionally you'll see plenty of WRs NOT running full speed and you'll see lots of pass rushers quickly throttle down when they calculate that the pursuit probably isn't worth it... kind of like a lion will know early on whether it's worth continuing to chase the zebra. Stevie Johnson was asked about Coleman's effort last week and said "And people talking about effort, they show one play that I saw on effort. And I mean, you got to really know the game is a must outside release, you know, backside of the play, not involved. Everybody knows that. And, you know, they eyed that one play on Keon. Now, I'm not here to defend like that, but I'm here to be equal with everybody. You know what I'm saying? And, you know, just calling that part out, you know, that wasn't his play to be running hard on. You know, you got to bypass that." Now I understand McDermott didn't exactly come to the defense of Coleman but remember this was in the context of McDermott feeling tons of heat after the loss to Miami and he may have found it convenient to be able to throw some different meat to the media corps for them to chew on.
  24. I think tomorrow’s injury report is actually more telling for a Thursday game. If I were a coach, I would limit exposure for guys with any nicks during the short week. The install meetings are much more important than the actual practices.
  25. Plus we have the H2H on Balt right now if it were to come down to it for a wild card spot, which we cannot say the same about Pitt yet.
