Cook's original asking price was 15M. If we'd been anywhere near that he'd be signed by now. I don't put much stock in the 20M ask. It's becoming increasingly clear though that his FMV is actually pretty close to 15M AAV even though James is only a two down back. Beane is just wrong here. -
Q has really great hands actually. You should check out his college videos!

Lots of Cowboy prime time.. Why?..

Ok...I'm actually stupid. What does "Belinda" mean? I've seen it posted here a number of times over the years. Belinda Carlisle?? That's all I got.
-
The NFLs love affair with KC continues. I get it, they're good but don't we get enough glazing of this team already?
-
Kelce really needs to retire ffs. 7 primetime games??

You mean 0-2. Cook will hold out both games. -
Dave Chappelle spoke at his local small town Ohio meeting against a low income housing project. Then the next month he was at the DNC. It's ok if they build them near your house but not his. Not to mention he almost got stabbed by a tranny for making fun of them in his comedy act. These libs are all over the place. They don't actually believe the things they say

LOL The game could be at 4:00 am on Sunday morning and Bills Mafia would still take over Atlanta. -
Sometimes, the best clients are the ones you DON’T take.

Living in Atlanta I was hoping for a Sunday game. I wonder if Atlanta is hoping to minimize BillsMafia taking over Atlanta with having it on MNF?

Not me. It drives the franchise tag up on Cook next year if we want to squeeze one more year out of him. The way our o-line is running right now you could draft a replacement in the 2nd or 3rd round that gives you at least 90% (maybe more) of what Cook gives you right now on a rookie deal. There isn't a highly paid back across the league that takes less than 50% of the snaps who you can't trust to pass block. -
It all depends on your definition of "elite". In my opinion, that's top 5 in the league at your position. None of the names on this list are top 5 at their positions in the league yet. That said, Brown is close in my opinion. He had games last season that were absolutely dominant. Thought he had his worst game of the season in the AFC Championship so that doesn't help his case. But, he's right there. Benford did receive 1 All Pro vote if I remember correctly. He's very good. "Elite"? Not in my opinion. He's got great numbers, but I don't look at him like a true shut down CB that you will have travel with the best WRs in the league. He's great in our defensive scheme, though, which is all you can ask. As for the other guys on this list, they all have elite moments, but are not elite players. They are very good, but not elite.

Even at 50% of the snaps, the only player on Offense that touched the ball more than Cook was Josh. Cook had 207 carries and 32 receptions. He had the ball 239 times. He accounted for 1267 yards and 18 TDs. Shakir, who just got $15M/yr, and just had his best year yet, had 78 total touches, 825 yds, and 4 TDs. Roughly 1/3 the total production depending how you want to look at it. Point is, the snap count/usage/value argument doesnt hold water.

I'd be more worried about Hollins' impact than I would be about Diggs

It's a better signing for them than when they signed Davis.
