I broadly agree with this. Only note I’d have is that IMO Waddle is maybe a 1.5 at best, maybe just a 2 at this point. His last 3 years have been underwhelming. I’d still want a guy like Waddle or Addison, but only at a reasonable price and not a blockbuster price. If we’re giving up more than a first and a third, I think Olave or AJ Brown are about the minimum acceptable quality of target. Even those would be pushing it unless there are competing offers. Olave’s concussion history and Brown’s combo of attitude and age ding them both as assets.

I'm not giving up on playoffs yet, particularly b/c there are young, unproven teams that I think we could beat. The road to the SB will not go through KC this year. We need to rally, get in, and go on a run. But, if they fail in the playoffs, I'm ready to see some changes.

Herbig and Watt are not the Texans but it's a matchup issue. But against the run it does favor us. Problem is heyward and benton are tough. Slay and Ramsey are well past their prime but we're not exactly running out reed & lofton Metcalf, porter jr and Broderick Jones might be out or play hurt so that helps.... My daughter has been fostering rescue dogs for the last 3 years (from kill shelters down south). Her current count is 22 and the experience is wonderful. She has 2 dogs that failed "rescue" and became residents. They help transition new visitors. Anyway, there was one, Brittany (***** hound)- that never was right. After multiple vet visits - the end was distemper - no cure. My daughter still mourns.

According to Over the Cap and Spotrac, his cap hit is just under 6,000,000 this year. This places him 53rd among NFL DE's. If you go with the higher number of cash outlay it puts him around 20th I think.

After that first drive, it seems Texans started game planning for runs on 1st down and subbed in a heavier Dline rotation. They knew the Bills would then abandon the run on 2nd and longer and brought their pass rushers back in. Same for 3rd and long. Brady should have had the smarts to see that strategy and the guts to keep running it on 2nd and 3rd down, even if the yardage was more. Cook is a weapon to break it anytime, you can't just run him on 1st, especially when going up against a strong pass rush. Keep the D on their toes with draws and screens. Brady was so ill-prepared for this game
