I'm sure they'll trade him to a bottom feeder team for a 5th or 6th or if he does get waived I doubt he'd fall to us in the pecking order.

Liberals are prepping to OWN Trump by burning flags. They are well within their rights and it should work out really well for them. Should be fun.

Lefties are mentally disturbed and must be stopped.

They have GOT TO STOP doing this stuff. -
Teams do it all the time, most rookies are not NFL ready from day one.
-
My guess is that it’s nowhere close to $32 million per in reality.
-
The Chiefs are likely going to cut Joshua Williams. Buffalo should grab him in a heartbeat if that happens. He's a decent player, but there's something the Chiefs seem not to like about him, as he certainly seems like a better CB than some of the guys ahead of him on the depth chart. He'd be an improvement over White, Jackson, or Rasul Douglas.

Cook didn't get what he was asking for and the guaranteed money reported was false. He only got $15 million gaurenteed at signing.
-
It wouldn't be a Bills season without a Jordan Phillips signing. What the heck, he's a known quantity and the DL depth chart is looking unseasoned and mediocre until Hoecht and Ogunjobi come back. He will probably be inactive until something bad happens, anyway. Also a great teammate and de facto Bill for Life, by somewhat unconventional means. Also, does anyone know if there is a record for the number of times a player has retuned to the same team after being off that team for whatever reason?

The Saints don't have a salary cap problem. They have a QB problem. If anything, it should vindicate their strategy. Who cares about your cap when your QB is Tyler Shough?

Report: Terry McLaurin requests trade
DrDawkinstein replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
So $32M/year which is what he was asking for when everyone was saying he was too old to pay that... so wtf were the Commanders waiting for? In each and every one of these hold out/in scenarios, it's the team trying to refuse reality. And most of the time, or every time, they end up giving the player what they wanted. Even Cook, who while didnt get his $15M starting number, surely got more than Beane initially offered and a bunch of guaranteed money. -
All real good points. The MAC is not big time college football. My son played high school ball in the Atlanta area 8-10 years ago. He played w X McKinney on the Packers and their back up QB from Liberty-name escapes me at the moment. Their team was loaded as any HS team was back in 2016. He was recruited hard by Bowling Green and W Michigan. Chose Syracuse and then transferred to Georgia Southern. Had a good career. But played a little out of position as a 4-3 DE versus LB. The level of play in the Sun Belt was better than the MAC. But not exponentially. (My son should have transferred before his last year to a mid level Big 10 or ACC program and would have had a better shot at the pros- but he always did his own thing w/o asking his parents for advice) My point is not a lot of stud players are coming out of either conference. We got Leodis McKelvin from Troy. (Da Marcus aware played there also). I know nothing about this kid Dolac. But it’s a big step up to the NFL from Group of 5 schools is all. Does Dolac look like the next LT? And you are also right about living in a big time city when you are in your 20’s. I moved to Atlanta after college when I graduated in 1987. My two boys live in Miami. And my daughter lives in LA. But we have Cialo. I think he could really be a baller in the NFL. I sure hope McBeane feel the same way!’

Shocker! - said no one ever

It's also wild how so many people defend him forcefully, call him "Bassmatic", and think he is an upper echelon guy. Every kick with Bass is an adventure.

Eric Dickerson Claims Teams Were Told To Not Draft Shedeur Sanders
bigK14094 replied to H2o's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember the NFL/AFL days. That wasn't good for football, and the merger took care of that. The AFC was formed around the AFL teams mostly. Lots of folks here don't recall that mess. The Bills were in the middle of it. They lost Pete Gogolak (kicker) to the Giants which started the bidding war. The bills went after Mike Ditka, the all pro TE from the Bears, then. It was brutal and teams and money was big for those poached. (not by todays standards, though) I don't have any desire to see another big time league form. But, with all the money out there chasing football, I would not rule it out. Maybe the Saudi's will bankroll a new league, ala the golf situation. That would be interesting to watch. Of course, you could argue that College football has become the alternate pro league. As for Sanders, the young man has a tough road, who knows how it will play out. But, if he can play, he can succeed. (see Kurt Warner) -
After the cutdown deadline on Tuesday, teams have until Wednesday at noon ET to claim players who were waived.

Gotta get the big guy in the building and make sure he's as in-shape as we need him to be. He already had camp off. Just a guess
