"Benford is a concussion away from missing a season," you say? And it's me who makes "unequivocal determinations"? You have no idea. Nor do I. Nor does anyone, including his doctors. Pretending you know that is just sad. Even assuming it's true, it's no less true that Cook is also one injury away from missing a season. So is every player on the field. Oh, and no, I don't blame Cook a bit for wanting his money. But I do hold him responsible for using tactics that I don't think will get him what he wants. There are many ways to go about trying to get paid. He's chosen this one. He'll have to take the consequences. And I would blame Beane (as should all of us) for overpaying, or for signing a bad contract. Oh, and real quick, go find a post anywhere where I've got my "chest pumped up, boasting about," absolutely anything. Bring us a link where I did that. I don't know who you're thinking of, but it ain't me. And yeah, Cook did see Benford, Bernard and Rousseau get a second contract - after their third year. EVERY ONE OF THEM took a team-friendly contract. Standard practice when signing after your third year. Cook isn't doing that. Maybe he could have learned from Benford, Bernard and Rousseau. They are all signed before their fourth year, greatly mitigating the financial consequences of an injury in their fourth year. Again, I like Cook as a player. A lot. I just don't want to overpay for him. Or anyone, really.

I have to agree with some of what he said in that the character of this country is in deep trouble and has been going down the s**Ter for a long time because of the "American Entitlement " Mind set thing that just because you are a American you should automatically get all the perks and not have to work for any of it ! Then there are those that will lie, cheat, pretend to be disabled, to steal from the system, also those that think because of history that they are some kind of special and should get a bunch of something for nothing just because instead of working for it . There are those in our society that definitely need our help, those that have REAL disabilities such as mental problems, or that are born with debilitating diseases that can't fend for themselves them selves but there are plenty of able bodied Americans that have learned how to fleece the system and pass that down to younger generations . Then there are those younger folks that are just plain spoiled ass rotten !! Those that will sit in their coffee shops drink a $15 chocolate frapochino mocha latte at the table in a air conditioned building with internet on their $2000 Apple computer and do nothing but B word about how they are so under appreciated or that the gov't should be giving them more because they would rather sit there on their ass than go out and work for what they have . And that is in most part thanks to Mom & Dad spoiling their asses, then they go out and vote for those that will run on the platform of giving them all of the things they are crying for and those politicians think because they are getting those votes that they are doing something really good for the country when they are teaching them to be dependent on the gov't for all their needs and that is a huge reason why this country has went tight in to the shitter ...

Go watch the end of the Pittsburgh playoff game and the KC playoffs game when he was forced into duty and get back to me. Also the Lions game from last year once he was in there...he literally almost single handedly allowed the Lions back in the game late because all they kept doing was throwing to whoever he was covering. Also, I can't really feel too awful for a guy getting paid almost a million dollars a year to run around, play a kids game, lift weights and bang hot chicks.

Football is the ultimate team sport and with the athletes in todays NFL it takes all to give their 1 - 11th in order for it to be really good and the really good teams always have that guy that is just a little bit smarter and gifted like Allen that separates them from all the rest in the league . The Chiefs wouldn't be who they are if you took away Mahomes, The Patriots definitely wouldn't have been or done what they did if Brady didn't lead them even though he wasn't a superior athlete as far as running his Football IQ was off the charts and his work ethic to be the very best was second to none . I think Josh has that same type of DNA, he is always looking to improve and when ever he is given an award he is quick to realize that he couldn't have gotten it with out his team mates and that is a big part why he is so special . Oh and while I'm at it to all those haters it also takes a really good HC & Staff, along with a good GM to get those types of guys that compliment each other & have their backs and are willing to learn or be taught how to be their best self !!.

Benford is not better than Cook at his position? Um, yeah, sure, whatever you say, dude. I mean, you're dead wrong of course, Benford is a top five guy at CB and there are twice as many starting CBs as there are RBs. He's absolutely better than Cook at his position, and CB is absolutely a more important position than RB. As for Kyren Williams, he has put up 4.5 YPC, while Cook has put up 4.9. Cook is better, but not that much. And while part of that is because Cook is more explosive, another large part of it is that the Bills virtually never use Cook as a short-yardage hammer on the plays where making one or two yards I success, and Kyren Williams is the Rams smash-mouth guy. Cook isn't big enough or powerful enough for the role. And Kyren is. The Bills know they've got to take Cook off the field in those situations. The Rams keep Williams out there and run him up the gut while the D knows what's almost certainly coming, and Williams gets the first down a lot more than he doesn't. That will lower your YPC while still making you a very valuable player. And no, Cook isn't clearly the second-best player on this team. Benford, Milano, Taron Johnson are better for a start. Milano and Taron have been All-Pros, very recently. Dawkins, Spencer Brown are probables. It all goes up and down, of course, but pretending it's clear that he's #2 is ridiculous. Cook's very good in many aspects, most specially his explosiveness. But he's got drawbacks as well, pass blocking, the inability to be used as a power back and that he's good but not great as a pass catcher, not to mention that he's a smaller guy who may well be best used less than genuine bell cow backs. I think this is great stuff. And I want Cook too. But while I would pay him, I wouldn't overpay him, and certainly I wouldn't after three, not four years.

Hyperbolic and sad way to kick a guy when he's down. It's also not true according to the film guys. Spector's problem is just staying healthy.

The team hasn’t won a SB, much less been to the big game, so I’m not sure what risks the show poses…? Hard Knocks hasn’t been around SJF since Josh was drafted in 2018 and the results have been mostly the same every year. Maybe it’s good to shake things up.

Or its an average WR that can't separate beating a #1CB that is grossly overrated by this fan base... I'm kidding...Oh wait am I? Yes I'm kidding. Great throw. Beautiful route and even better catch!

Rams extend RB Kyren Williams - 3-year, $33 million

And Cook averages almost a full yard more per carry.. -

None of what you're proposing is how the NFL works, at all. Nor is Cook being accused of having "a sour attitude." Your 'old school' approach to managing a drafted RB's contract year training camp tactics would only make things worse. The goal should be to pave the way for James Cook to ball out in 2025 and maximize his 2026 FA value. The thing to avoid is a publicly contentious stalemate that results in the player requesting a trade (unless of course someone wants to offer real value for said player who we otherwise know the Bills at best will receive a mid-round compensatory pick). Can't guarantee Cook won't amplify his offseason "business" strategies, but the Bills can aim to respectfully endure and de-escalate. That's just not how anything works either. Your hardline stance would make things worse, rather than better. Cook's contract demands wouldn't change AT ALL based on your proposed punitive, cumulative 'hold-in' reductions to a Bills offer that is already below the player's perceived market, and in fact would likely result in that player feeling insulted and less willing to participate at all in offseason practices and preparations. Cook's recent hold-in is perfectly understandable for a guy who doesn't want to expose himself to injury during the preseason, while also maximizing exposure during the filming of Hard Knocks. NFL contracts are not guaranteed, so guys entering their final seasons are risking everything while their orgs are risking nothing. I side with the players, always. They create the value, not the owners. Teams should be non-profit orgs like the Packers. Owners are not necessary. Public/taxpayer money and TV/streaming contracts make it all happen anyways.

What do they know about people walking around with guns that we don't? They do know a lot about guns.

How the hell are they going to enforce this ? Test people for salt ?

I found a replay on a random site... it didn't wow me much, seemed like some of it was staged. 6 out of 10 or so...

I am watching it, I enjoyed it, and I wish we weren't doing it. It seems like it's all risk. Sure the fans (like me) like it but I'm not sure it helps the team....

The Tee Higgins comp is very good. is Coleman as good as Higgins today? No. But Higgins is the same style of WR. I’m hoping that Keon comes close to Higgins as a ceiling.

As a lot of others have said, Chernobyl was really well done. Acting and cinematography was top notch. Very horrifying what those people went through and depressing Soviet block of the early 80s. Sharp Objects I feel was a bit under rated. A lot thought it was going to be a who done it murder mystery, but it was a lot deeper than that. That set the background for the story but it was a deep dive character piece revolving around a very dysfunctional family with very disturbing mental health issues. If you like that sort of thing (think fight club) it was great, but can a be too slow moving for a lot… and I thought the last 30 seconds really boosted the whole thing

And this is why the NFL has banned them, just as boxing did. It's not that they're a PED. It's not that they're bad for your spleen (WAT?). It's that they can mask the effects of a concussion. Ammonia is quite volatile. You can't keep it on a cloth. You have to break an ampule or open a vial or pour some on a cloth just before use That said, I would think it's something that could be snuck - just not by keeping a cloth on your person. So how's this work, the players have to each bring their own little private pouch o' ampules? It's exactly why it is.
