  1. Past hour
  2. Indeed I left the Delaware north box to sit in the end zone with my friends and get rained on... the blocked field goal was coming my way.... then we win the doors open and next thing I know I am taking down a goal post and buying a hat on the way out.
  3. Sample size too small to pick the Bengals for me. 2022 season team chemistry appeared to be cracking with whatever personal things were going on internally and externally. After the Hamlin incident mentally they were not there and things went downhill. 2023 didn't play great but hung around with the Bengals despite losing. Kincaid had a killer fumble that game. Still have to say it is KC where in the biggest moments team has continually come up short and it starts with the coaching staff getting outcoached.
  4. Patriots easily in my opinion. They are going to be significantly better with the defensive additions, Vrabel, and the added weapons on offense. The offensive line is still a bit of a concern even with drafting Campbell, but overall their offseason has been impressive. Couple that with an exceedingly easy schedule (there are literally only 4 tough games - BUF x 2, CIN, BAL) and I expect the Pats to win 10 games and snag a wild card spot. New England is already head and shoulders above Miami and the Jets.
  5. I think he did 2 or 3 QB sneaks at the end of the game, one of them for 50 yards +/- and the Bills scored. Here's what I can find on the game, which I remember watching on TV.
  6. Maybe Josh swings and that's why him and Diggs had a falling out?
  7. If only the sisters of perpetual indulgence were merely nuns dressed as pirates. They openly mock Catholics in vile and disgusting fashion. Ted Lieu found it perfectly ok to pose for a picture with them.
  8. Explains his rant about tariffing movies too.
  9. It’s as big draw and people spend money. However, you are correct, April in Buffalo tends to suck.
  10. Well, maybe, but I think the Bills' approach is much more open-ended than that. I really think that from week to week and month to month they want to be looking at what works and what teams are doing against them and then running route schemes and players that they think will work best. To do that, they're trying to match the talents of their players with the schemes. Moore is a talented guy, and in the right circumstances, he could be a 1000-yard guy in a given season, even with Shakir and Kincaid on the field. I've really come around to thinking that each position group is operated with one of two philosophies: One philosophy is the fixed-starter philosophy - name the starters and absent injuries, those starters player every down. In that philosophy, the Bills value team play and coordination. The defensive backfield and the offensive line operate on that philosophy. The Bills want the same guys on the field every down (except for sub-packages in the defensive backfield). The other philosophy values mix-and-match opportunities and versatility. The defensive line, the receivers, and the running backs operate on that philosophy. From game to game and play to play, with those groups the Bills put the players on the field who often them the opportunity to do what they want to do in that situation. They want to be as multiple as possible, because they get an advantage by the forcing the opponent to adjust to what the Bills happen to bringing. If what the Bills have done to the defensive line works, for example, the Bills will be driving offenses nuts, because the Bills will be showing a big variety of players, and looks and styles, on the defensive line. If it works, a lot of guys will be able to get to the QB, a lot of guys will have the mobility the Bills want to manage run gaps. Bringing it back to Moore, I think the Bills are thinking that a guy with experience in the league and sub 3.4 speed could, in the right circumstances, pile up a lot of yards. For example, suppose that the Bills' running game takes another step forward this season and forces defenses to drop the extra man into the box. In that case, maybe Moore starts getting open down field more regularly. It all will depend on whose number Joe Brady calls.
  11. Trump recently watched the movie "The Rock" and was like hmmm I have an idea...
  12. Just a reminder that if you voted for far Left radicals like Kamala then you aren't Catholic. God frowns on those that support killing babies and sexualizing children. Repent and confess your sins.
  13. I think that's very possible. Maybe even (*gulp*) # 1, depending on injuries, head to head, and other yet to be determined factors that could derail the Bills' hopes for a 6th straight division title. They gave the Bills a run for their money in the late December game in Buffalo when the Bills were still fighting for their playoff positioning. Of course the Pat won the final in NE, but I don't count that one since the Bills were playing reserves in a game that was meaningless as far as playoff seeding was concerned.
  14. I've had these feelings so many times that they are just noise and I don't get them anymore. Always an optomist but the anticipation butterflies no longer register JUST SHOW ME THE BABY !!!!
  15. The one thing the Ravens have to deal with is their division. The AFCN is brutal, and all of the teams hate one another. This division and the NFCE have the strongest rivalries. The Bills have good rivalries with the Pats, Dolphins, and Jets but it's not on the same level of intensity as the AFCN. It really is the black and blue division as the teams just beat the crap out of one another.
  16. The idea to them isn't to uphold the Constitution its to follow ideological rulings and interpretations of the law by activist judges found by activist lawyers through judge shopping for the best jurisdiction and judge most likely to rule in their favor.
  17. Great game and I remember that stretch of games exactly the same. Buffalo had the running game rolling at that point and Bledsoe was basically playing the roll of steady game manager. The defense was playing very well also. I also felt like if Buffalo would have made the playoffs, they were a hot team more than capable of goin on a run. Just found this blurb regarding the 2004 season on Wikipedia: '"According to Football Outsiders, who has tracked every play in the NFL since the early 1990s, the 2004 Bills were statistically the best NFL team (in their record-keeping history) to have failed to qualify for the playoffs"
  18. it was funny on SNL years ago. In this context, not funny.
  19. If we're coming clean, I'm not really Einstein's Dog.
  20. My sister lives in Wisconsin and knows someone who paid $30 for a hot dog and a beer and $120 to park. You don’t think we should share that experience? Nashville and some other spots looked cool, with a lot of things around to do besides the draft. Green Bay seemed to offer a big parking lot. I politely passed on the offer to visit.
  21. You're missing my point, I hope not deliberately. I'm not disputing that the Bills offense will score as many points as last year or gain as many yards. I'm focusing on the playoffs, when it counts the most, right? Are we on the same page there, or are you content with a nice record in the regular season, along with a win or two against the Broncos or whomever? If you are, speak up. I'll put a finer point on it for you: Beane stood pat on an offense that couldn't deliver in the clutch the last two years. He prioritized a weak defense instead, which is understandable. But let's not delude ourselves that this is a "great offense." A great offense doesn't choke on its final drive of the playoffs. Essentially, Beane is betting it won't come down to the final drive.
  22. All in fun - although I had never heard of "nescient" before
  23. Even though we beat BAL and lost to KC, I would honestly rather play KC then BAL at this point. Josh has never had an issue with KC's D in terms of points and I am cautiously optimistic the defense can be a strength finally. Baltimore on the other hand is as hungry and desperate as the Bills and that run combo with Henry is a nightmare. You can truly only beat BAL one way which BUF did which is to minimize Henrys impact to just solid yards and no impact plays while having the lead to force them to play catch up. KC if the Bills win we can do in a few ways. BAL I honestly think is a bludgeon fest and there is no other way (That goes for any AFC team fyi). When KC beat BAL in BAL for the AFC title it was very similar to what the Bills did. It is over now but I also think BAL/BUF would've presented a tougher matchup for PHI then KC did. Josh & Lamar's rushing ability would've kept both in the game far more than Mahomes (different style QB not a criticism). I don't think either beats PHI but it would've been close to a one score game not a blow out.
