Shakir……….Kincaid, Keon…Samuel…Palmer, Knox, Moore

Let’s just forget the 51st state business and nuke them instead.

Efficiency is due to Josh Allen. In Vegas he was just thrown to a ton when they were losing by 30 points.

No 9:30am International games. As few 4:00 games as possible because it messes up my 5:00 nap. -
TJ Watt Speculation after Pickens trade (Nothing Official)
BADOLBILZ replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agree with the friend. I saw most Steelers games last year and there was a BIG decline in general impact from Watt in games than in seasons prior. I was really surprised at the end of the year that his counting stats had him in contention for DPOY. Then I saw that he had played the most snaps of his career. That's basically why he got 11.5 sacks. 935 snaps. I'm not directly comparing the two as overall players.......but Von Miller had 6 sacks on 279 snaps and Bills fans were not impressed. Watt's stats were STUFFED by lot's of low juice snaps. -
In a system where the ball is spread around more than ever it's not surprising. But is that all you're basing your stance on, is just yards? When you look at more than just his yards he made some really good catches and didn't have a lot of drops like Gabe did. I think if Gabe came in this offensive system under Brady, we would likely see much of the same with drops and probably injured again imo
-
Their skill sets are redundant and they'd rather pay Metcalf over a mental case. They could sign K. Allen or Cooper to add to the WR room if they still want to try this year by signing Rodgers.
-
I honestly feel bean wouldn't have signed Moore unless he felt Moore upgraded the top of the line up. I truly believe if Colman doesn't improve he will be demoted. Bean made it clear he wasn't happy how he handled his injury.(Whatever that means) The good news is the bills have options. If everyone ups there game and Moore is the number 4 on the depth chart we are in great shape imo.
-
He was more efficient for sure with the Bills last year- But if you double Hollins targets this year, his efficiency metrics would of course drop. (gabe davis is a prime example, even Shakir last year in terms of percentage completion when he was targeted more)

The Battle for Jobs at Safety and Corner.

I agree. I would love it if Buffalo started 2 new safeties, but McDermott seems to like Rapp. I would be surprised if he's not starting at least to begin the season. -

They traded Pickens only because he is problem player, why would they trade for Metcalf if they are rebuilding?Pickens was looking for top receiver money and they cashed out before having no choice but to pay him -

Hopefully it won't be in September like in 2017. One of the most brutally hot, miserable experiences I've ever been to. -
Don’t bring him back.. How many times did Gabe run a wrong route that led to a pick? Sure, he occasionally made the highlight catch and everyone remembers the huge playoff game vs the Chiefs, still don’t want him here. Seems to be a good guy and I wish him the best somewhere else.

Now, ain't it good to know that you've got a friend When people can be so cold? They'll hurt you, yes, and desert you And take your soul if you let them Oh, but don't you let them

Shakir Palmer Kincaid Coleman Moore Samuel Knox This is actually a tough exercise. We have a middle of the pack receiving room, but that suddenly changes if any combination of the following occur: -Palmer is the guy Beane thinks he is -Kincaid makes a jump -Coleman makes a jump -Samuel stays healthy -Moore finds early chemistry with Allen Don’t think we have a WR1 but if all goes according to plan, good luck stopping a laundry list of WR2/3’s with a strong running game.

Chiefs for sure. Since Conference game and all. -
I'm waiting for the $100 off promo for renewing customers. If they don't offer it, I'll probably do the student one although it's not ideal.

3 covers of a Bruce Springsteen song that are great IMO

Neither. They are run incompetently and have been for quite awhile now. As long as Tomlin gets to go 9-8 and keep his silly .500 record intact while getting smashed by 30 in the wild card, everything is good.

I don’t hate it for the Bills. That’s what I was asking about. The problem, from their standpoint, is what do you do with him? You can’t pay him in the range of what Garrett got. He potentially cripples a cap if he’s done or about done. He’s a UFA after this year and will be 31 with lots of injuries. It’s a tricky situation. -
Shakir is easily #1. He put up BIG numbers the first year he stepped on the field for the Bills.

Based on passer rating when targeted in 2024(pro football reference) 108.8 Khalil Shakir 93.9 Keon Coleman 88.2 Josh Palmer 84.7 Dalton Kincaid 79.3 Curtis Samuel 44.5 Elijah Moore (191 of 192 NFL pass catchers) I don't know that there is less subjective way to rank them. They have different roles in a passing game. Passer rating basically measures the juice derived for the passing game when you are targeted. I think that's also a near ideal scenario for how many targets they would hope these guys earn in 2025. Knox only had 35 targets so I deemed the sample size(and projected usage at half the targets of Kincaid) was too small to rank him but he was at a decent 94.4. As noted, Moore was one of the very least effective WR's in the NFL last season. He ranked 191 of 192 qualifying receiving targets. Brutally bad. Shakir(47 of 192) is the only one of these guys who ranked top 100 in the NFL last year. 🤢 And for people who want Palmer or Moore adjusted for having different QB's..........that's not really the way it works. There were more than 70 receiving targets who had a higher passer rating when targeted than Allen (101.4) and Herbert (101.7) had as passers. Obviously Shakir is not better than Allen. The Bills targets beyond Shakir are all players most teams would want to be 3rd to 6th options in the passing game.
