MNF Week 3 2025: Detroit at Baltimore (no Bills discussion, please)
Gregg replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Very impressed with the Lions last night. Those two long drives for scores and the goal line stand. The Lions will be there in the end with GB and Philly to see who represents the NFC in the Super Bowl. -

A laser mounted on a pole shooting straight up? We’ve sent humans to the moon—this is doable. TD pylon cams? The high school robotics team can absolutely tackle this! -
Since I was arguing that turnovers are important, I wanted correlation not causation. Did Henry's fumble in the Bills games "cause" the Bills to win? No, but it was a significant factor in the Bills winning, just as Henry's fumble last night contributed to the Lions' win.

Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?
Matt_In_NH replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just here to say it’s a long season…one loss to the saints or patriots will put that in perspective. Yes we all want the one seed but even that does not accomplish what we all really want, it just makes it easier. The ravens and chiefs could both lose 7 games and you may still have to beat them both in the playoffs even with the one seed. -
It's a tough one because as much as I think the Colts and Chargers honestly look good, I would still take them in a playoff match in a heartbeat over the Chiefs or Ravens. It's really tough, but at the moment I am saying Ravens for a few reasons: 1) I have faith with the Bills vs the Chiefs in November but I want another game buffer 2) I don't think some magic spell will be undone in four weeks, but yes, I expect the Chiefs to look better once Worthy and Rice return so I want losses stacked NOW 3) I still think the Chiefs make the playoffs. I have a hard time believing that they won't. Buuuuuut holy moley they don't have an easy schedule I see an outside chance of them being edged

The Ravens IMHO are more of a threat to the Bills for the #1 seed so I hope KC wins. If the Chiefs make the playoffs they may very well have to go in as a WC. The Chargers have a real shot to take the division this year.
-
My money is the Chiefs get curb stomped. That team sucks right now. The Ravens have lost tight games, to top 5 teams, all really related to Henry fumbles.

Ravens. I don't think the Chiefs win the division this year. Still a lot of football to be played but the Chargers look like they can take the AFCW. They get the Giants on Sunday so they will probably be 4-0. The Chiefs will probably go in as a WC. The Ravens are more of a threat to the Bills for #1 seed at this point. For this week Go Chiefs. -

Until someone can go to Lamar and grab him by the balls and tell him he needs to be the leader of this team it won't matter. Henry is a scapegoat a lot of times; yes he did have two costly fumbles this year but Jackson has not helped or done what it takes as a QB to lead his team. -

Raise the bar 6 feet and have a cross bar on top making it a rectangle. Ball needs to go through. Kickers are so powerful now. These situations are more common, and the nfl is whistling past the graveyard until something major gets decided by this. -
Maybe he's on the cowboys payroll?

Cool to see she is doing media now.

This is my line of thinking as well. The Ravens seem to have a much easier road now and an easier division. Better to bank another loss. Hopefully the Bills beat KC later and restore that cushion and then some. -

That's too specific. Trolling is saying something that you know is provocative with the hope of getting amusing overreactions from others. Doesn't mean I think he's not a genuine Bills fan. A genuine Bills fan can still have fun with the overreactors on this board. -
As I understand the sweetheart deal given to Epstien it came down from the sky box. The prosecutor in the case was pursuing a conviction. Somebody above intervened. The DA was quoted as saying the decision was "above his pay grade". So the question might be where did the order originate in the DOJ, and adminstration at the time, chain of command? Who was President then? What happens with most issues as the get politicized is the crowd acts like a dog barking up the wrong tree. Look at who was in charge at the time of the deal.

Lions did a great job last night on both sides of the ball. Defense made Lamar look like a stupid rookie. Offense looked like they hadnt skipped a beat since Johnson left. That pitch out on the TD is the type of play that I wish we would run once in a while. Also great to see the Ravens crumble not only because it helps us but because it proves once again how bogus the Ravens hype was before the season. So many NFL pundits are completely clueless and a lot just tow the hype line. They look like fools today.
-
Well, they could both be 1-2-1…just sayin. What a time to be alive…

As much as I think the man doesn't deserve 2 MVPs and I am utterly sick of Lamar Truthers screaming about how Josh robbed him, I agree that Lamar is at this moment probably neck and neck with Allen in the regular season QB play. He's good and we don't have to tell ourselves that he's bad to feel better about Josh. To the Ravens credit, they have had a murderers row stretch to open. The opener was a heartbreaker, the Browns are not the complete pushover, the Lions were always going to be a tough ride and now the Chiefs? But yes, the idea that "the only ones who can beat the Ravens are the Ravens" is looking a bit tired at the moment. I've seen enough sample size to say that they have issues closing out games.

I think they will both make the playoffs regardless, so I'll root for the chiefs, simply because I enjoy watching the Ravens lose more. As of right now the Chargers are our main competition for the one seed, but that can obviously change. -
