I don't think he switched the ball to his left hand for security... I think he did it so that he could stiff arm the defender. Without re-watching the play, IIRC, his stiff arm didn't really connect, and it would have been more of a push, AND if it did connect and was successful he would basically have had a clear path to the endzone. Allen plays big boy football.

Josh Allen and the Stiff Arm

Agreed. There is a time and place for everything. Going outta bounds 40 yards down field in Game 2, is not it! Going down field towards the GL in the AFC Championship… IS! Don’t do stupid shite 17! (See Joe Burrow). -

I'm sure this is a known thing, but i've been putting rainx on my ski goggles for decades and it works wonders for rain/snow/fog -
I would like to disagree with you on this because there are options that you can use for spraying on the visor to prevent the fogging, but I just can't. The fact is, those sprays suck, and they don't work. I have tried them for those chilly mornings when riding my motorcycle, and i still need to leave my visor unlocked and lifted a 1/4 to 1/2 inch to prevent it from fogging up and collecting moisture. It really is a pain.

Game week thread - Dolphins at Bills TNF

In a potential Championship season, you do not EVER look around, beyond or over this week’s opponent! The idea is to rack up as many Ws as you possibly can to ensure a Playoff Bye and Home field advantage throughout the Playoffs. To get to the Lombardi! “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing!” Vince NO LET UPS. And to drive the point home- Herm… -

Ok. Tell Josh that.....I'm sure he will listen. Not that I don't agree with you, I just think he is a baller and will do whatever he can to get that extra yard or 20. Excellent point however! -

Dolphin fans are surprisingly realistic and sort of sympathetic, when you read their board. They are having a tough life. -
Haven't seen it anywhere else on the board here, but wondering if I was the only one cringing at Josh Allens stiff arm on his 40 yard run Sunday. Thought the run was great, and Romo even mentioned the wherewithal to switch the arm he was carrying the ball with to decrease the risk of a punch out. But where I cringed is where he used a stiff arm WITH HIS THROWING HAND to try to gain a few extra yards..especially around the face mask of the defender..where he could have easily jammed/broken/sprained/lacerated/dislocated finger(s) on HIS THROWING HAND. Truly appreciate the effort, but the time out of the lineup is not worth a few extra yards on the play in my opinion...

For the all players should wear visors folks, they are great for indoor teams, but they fog up in the cold, and are an absolute pain when it rains or snows. -

I am not willing to support anyone who celebrates assassination, of anyone, but I admit I did celebrate assassination of bin Laden. There is a line for sure, but it is being based on who judges. Many people loved the Minn senator and her family. No flag in Washington was lowered, or acknowledged, or condemned the violence. If anyone relished this death, should they have been fired. I am very sad that US politics has taken the country to this place of incivility. -
So last night the Yanks are up 10-1 in the 4th inning. Held on for the win 10-8. Bullpen is terrible. They will probably make the playoffs but #28 is not happening this year.

Not all visors, but anything that is tinted. At least according to the rules. "only 100% clear visors are legal for use in games unless a player has a doctor's note and league approval for a tinted or colored visor due to a medical reason. Referees have the final say, and players must ensure their visor is completely clear and free of any "swag" like logos or lettering. The strict requirement for clear visors allows medical personnel to check players' eyes for injuries without removing their helmet, which is critical in the event of a suspected spinal injury." But in 2019 the league signed a deal with Oakley, so players now have the option to wear Oakley Prizm Clear shields, a lightly tinted visor meant to enhance visual acuity and spatial awareness in players. details found here.

Yes, as Ralph's buddy Harvey was twice interim coach of the Bills and in each of those seasons the team won exactly 1 game. Yes, Bullough's malapropisms showed a deeply flawed mind whereas Berra's "Yogi-isms" were almost an art form.
