  1. Past hour
  2. He’s way better than he’s portrayed on here.
  3. Rousseau isn't an edge rusher, he's a hold the point of attack to keep LB clean to make tackles/deflect balls and on occasion move the QB from the pocket and or get a clean up sack as needed. Bottoming out would do a lot to help this team yet I can't see it happening, we're too talented to do something like that.
  4. Pitchforks and torches? I do think this is still a good team and things will get better, but it's hard to blame folks for being frustrated. It's not unreasonable to expect coaches and management to learn from past mistakes and make improvements when weaknesses are exposed. There no excuse for the penalties / lack of discipline. The coaches know what we have and need to maximize the talent, even if it means adjusting schemes to match what they have to work wirh. I think the offense will get sorted out, but I'm losing faith in the defense whisperer and his ways. It's beyond ugly on that side of the ball. Reinforcements should help, but I'm not sure I trust the process to get this team to promised land.
  5. FIFY. Patriots don't look lost, and they have a brand new staff in it's entirety. 🤷‍♂️
  6. DR OZ BLOWS HOLE IN SCHUMER SHUTDOWN NARRATIVE: Mark Tapscott Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) repeats it over and over and over: It’s against the law for illegal immigrants to get federal healthcare and other benefits, so GOP charges that they are getting billions in such aid cannot be true. Well, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Administrator of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS), dispatched investigators to get to the facts on this issue and their earliest results show more than $1 billion in confirmed Medicaid benefits going to illegals. Neither Schumer nor House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries responded to my request for comment on the Oz probe https://washingtonstand.com/article/senate-fails-for-12th-time-to-end-shutdown-as-both-sides-mum-on-oz-claim-of-1-billion-in-medicaid-to-illegals
  7. this is going to confuse some people...especially maga. i voted for trump, and just can't believe that his followers eat up any possible excuse he puts out. the man just doesn't have any accountability. all he has to do is scream it was the dems...and all critical thought goes aside.
  8. Coleman can't get separation, no separation puts your passing game at higher risk of INT's and 3 and outs.
  9. Some of this is fine (throwing more to the RBs), but most of it is just paper-shuffling. He’s saying to feature Larry Ogunjobi, Michael Hoecht, Shaq Thompson, Joshua Palmer, Jordan Poyer, and Dawson Knox. Is that list of names really going to change anything? The other two suggestions are to play your first round CB and Dalton Kincaid when they get healthy and to add more talent (not exactly novel ideas). I feel like this list is more of an indictment of Beane than it is useful suggestions for McDermott.
  10. Ironically the QB that looks the best from that class right now is Mac Jones
  11. Edge actually feels like it’s been pretty good for the first time in a long time which has given me some hope lol. in the interior, Walker has looked good at times in and Ed has played well also. Everything else on defense has been horrible though to the point where Shaq Thompson felt like a huge upgrade over our starters at LB 😂 id just stick Hoecht at OLB and have him blitz his a** off haha that’s gotta be better than anything most of our LBs have been doing
  12. If Pete Carroll can be a head coach at 74, Rusty Jones needs to come out of retirement at 72 & come back to Buffalo.
  13. Rapp is missing 25% of his tackles this season! It's bizarre because last year he only missed 3.6% of tackles. That kind of regression is inexplicable. I have no idea what's going on there but Rapp even at his best isn't such a good player that you should stay patient and hope he figures it out. He needs to be replaced ASAP. I'm fine with a replacement level player at safety, but Rapp has become a liability.
  14. Yes, they probably would be, and good luck to the team that hires them. But our team has had too long under this regime with the same flaws... we need fresh energy and a different style. I watched KC, the Eagles, and the Lions this weekend and those offenses and defenses were on a different level to ours.
  15. 8 weeks ago, this Carolina match-up was the easiest game on our schedule. Now I'm legitimately worried.
  16. Agree. Sure Allen has the occasional average or even poor game but he is so far from being the problem that it makes no sense to talk about it until the other problems are fixed. It's like your pipes burst in your house and your roof caves in but all you can talk about are the dandelions in the lawn.
  17. I'll agree with all these things except running only heavy packages. We need to get back to mixing in spread formations out more and throwing on 1st, 2nd down. Im still disgusted we've turned our super athletic MVP QB into a game manager. We've neutered Josh so much he's gone from 4500yds 35+ TDs per season down to under 4000 and under 30 TDS. We should be evolving his game, not turning him into the current iteration of Russel Wilson. Get him a weapon and start stretching the field again.
  18. We don't want another team's garbage...........we got enough of our own.
  19. Terrible officiating allows the NFL to maintain plausible deniability.
  20. The ironic thing is that I’m a registered Republican. I voted for George Bush 4 times, and Mitt Romney twice (write in for 2016 as I wouldn’t vote for Trump or Clinton). Im still mystified and disappointed that the party of Bush and Reagan would back an obvious grifter and con man
  21. The funny thing to me is how the coaching staff is whistling by the graveyard or simply refuses the obvious... the sad thing would be if they do see and just have no answers. Actually upon further review... there honestly isnt anything funny about where we are right now.
  22. Good plan, totally sensible. I would add: For short-yardage, design a 22 formation that can run any play, with Josh under center, Cook HB, Gilliam FB, Kincaid TE, Hawes TE, and one WR (probably Shakir). If the defense loads up, you audible and the same formation shifts from heavy to spread, probably with Shakir in orbit motion. Run Cook or pass out of that and a goal-line defense will have no chance. 1989-91 Bills used to do this on gotta-have it short yardage plays (except without the orbit motion) and it worked great.
  23. They won a meaningless game late in the season that cost them Trevor Lawrence & the settled for Zach Wilson at #2 in a bad QB draft year. SF traded up for Trey Lance at #3 right after the Jets & at #11 the Bears traded up for Justin Fields.
  24. Greenlaw is also a Bad Bunny fanboy. Jail time deserved.
