Random thought.  I hate that the Bills were so afraid of the NE Kick game that they chose to put the ball into the EZ after finally getting a TD.  That gave NE a short field to add 3 more points before halftime.  At least I presume that was the instruction given to Prater.

This was kinda the nightmare scenario for NE imo.  Maye came up small when it mattered and the bills will have momentum riding into a potential rematch.  Felt like nearly everything was working down the stretch even when we missed on plays.  Even that screen shoulda worked probably haha

We can win the shootout if it comes to it.  In the 4 losses, the Bills scored 20 points or fewer.  In the 10 wins, the Bills scored 26 points or more.

 

In the playoffs, we want to play teams that are stronger offensively than defensively.  (In the AFC, there aren't really going to be teams that are great on both sides.)

I mean it's a very clear limiting factor and by far the biggest reason we might not be able to win a Super Bowl. Allen and Cook are making enough plays all on their own to paper over the problem but the problem is real. Downfield passes to WRs is almost always a wasted down and that is just not the kind of statement you would ever make about a championship team. We have a chance to overcome it only because of two elite players and a weak overall conference.

Not to put words in his mouth but I think he meant more ‘that’s the first things callers have to say’ 😂. Obviously it’s an issue.  Honestly I think cooks could help…didn’t translate to the stat sheet but he got open deep more than anyone else has haha

Not sure why but I'm optimistic Brandiin Cooks is going to catch a few long balls for us.  He seems to be open downfield a few times a game.  I know they haven't really connected yet but the fact that Josh is looking for him and he's open sometimes gives me some hope.  We don't really have anyone else with his experience that has the wheels to go by someone.

These kinds of takes are just such bull crap. McDermott gets credit for everything the team does. He is the head coach. If you blame him for everything bad that happens, which I'm sure you do, at least have the decency to give him credit for the good things that happen as well.

I hate that Beane couldn't find us a stud WR.  But credit to Josh, Cook, Brady, OL, and Tes.

 

We have a strong OL and group of TEs, to go along with Josh and Cook (great RB room). That presents issues for many defenses, if Brady/Josh get them into the right play.

 

Wish we had a better WR room, but if we can score like that in the playoffs, we are winning 99% of the time.

Also, i was mainly calling out the user who called me an "idiot" and that I lacked football knowledge with my take. The other dudes i added in for fun because they added some snark to the conversation. You did nothing of the sort, so you get one free pass.

Miami is on fire and might be playing for a playoff spot. It’s very good for the bills if miami wins tonight. Miami almost beat NE in their first game.

Was just saying that…Josh couldn’t step into that throw late or that’s a big td.  First drive he bobbled the deep ball but he’s a veteran that can catch I’m not too worried about that. Pats corners are really good…this was definitely always gonna be the TE show

what has been a solace the last 2 weeks are plays by Knox and Kincaid in lieu of official WR's catching passes. Feed the TE's! Good things happen more often than not lately.
