It's much easier when you're running in straight line.

I just want to point out that elements like today favor the offense

It is an old wives tale that weather like that benefits the defense...  Tom Brady has said plenty of times playing in the snow really helps the offense

They know where they're going.. they know the snap count.. the defenses playing catch up and are much more likely to slip because they don't know which way they're cutting

Today again showed this weather really helps offense

Burrow said the same.

Won’t have to worry about this much longer.

I guess the grass across the street will only have melted snow right?  Is there a sub air suction system to keep it from being a mud track??

Yes.

they tried back in 2016 (or was it 2017) in the game here against the Jets.   With some tractors that had spinning attachments. Ended up all but destroying the field 🤣🤣🤣

Brushed all the rubber pellets off the field

I remember that game … all the black rubber pellets ended up piled in the end zones or something and staff had to shovel it up

Damn that surface had to be pretty hard to land on. Cold and all the rubber removed.

Not fun

Having played defense in snow, I always liked getting hands on players at or near their breaks rather than at the LOS.  It's so much harder for a receiver to get some steam coming out, and i felt like i was better equipped to stop the run coming from depth.

Dude if were going to have any chance at a run, this has to be the key. Knox (we already knew kincaid). As well as ty Johnson and Ray Davis in pass game (we already knew about Cook).

This isnt some bonkers concept to use since we essentially dont have WRs lol

I generally don't like to start topics, but I do not understand why there are not teams of stadium personnel with shovels and/or snowplows to clear the field during stoppages and especially at at halftime?

Is there a reason? Is there a good reason?

Go Bills

They clear every 5-yard line (ie: 5, 10, 15, 20, etc) during timeouts and media breaks -- via snowblowers.  And the sidelines for clear visibility, shovels/snowblowers.

Someone posted a video up-thread, they do the best they can to keep it cleared off.  It's just not feasible to run a snowplow when there is basically 1-2 in coming down during the game/wind that is constantly blowing snow all over the field, it's just part of playing outdoors.

They tried and wound up making it worse. Our turf is the worse in the league. It’s filled with rubber pieces and any real snow removal equipment will remove the rubber.  Totally Billsy to install in an outdoor field.

1) it is not the worst field in the NFL

2) What do you mean Billsy? You mean billsy in terms of building a new stadium with natural turf? Or Billsy like getting to the playoffs every year?

or maybe you are just making stuff up for the sake of complaining
